Tiana Bailey Mhmm, yeah I got my hair straightened for the 1st time at TAGs but I don't think my hair was that healthy because I had no clue of the natural youtube community so I got minor heat damage and my stylist warned me but I payed no attention lol. Just make sure you always check with whoever is doing your hair about heat protectant & the temp on the flat iron(hair burns at 451 so stay under 400, 410max) & make sure your hair is healthy before you get a straight look. For curly, I'm sure they both do it. I had finger coils put in that looked amazing at Tags by Elecia Mitchell but it took 4 hrs :/ I didn't know I had to wait so long(I'm a guy) lol. Always get the steam treatment. They have their own products at Tags however Replinsh seems to have more treatments available like Amino Acid & some other stuff I've never heard of. They have 5 star ratings all around too. I never felt judged going in TAGs & thats what I love cuz I've been to barber shop/salon combo in the past where people give me all kinds of looks & side eyes for my hair length & the fact that I have it in the afro state.
