    This is great!!! Thank you! I have used this to actually create a wall that incorporates a profile in the Exterior Plaster That Cuts through it and can change the colors. But I have a problem. The height modifier is changing the measurements of the profile, but not always. any ideas as to how to constrain the profile height but that it moves with the different heights of the plaster?

      To constrain a profile height, you must assign a modifier value that constrains the two nodes or two edges that define the top and bottom, or exterior verse interior. If you only add a modifier to one side of the component, then the other side will be fixed, resulting in weird geometry created when modifying the profile. To keep those in line, you have to constrain them by adding a modifier to do the job. Hope this helps!

    Hi John :), thank you for this informative video! Is it possible to view the watertable with dashed lines when you cut below it?

      Great question, and yes it is! If your cut plane is below the watertable, and your floorplan display is set to "Projected with Overhead", then set the Overhead Line type to a dashed line, and it will show the water table as dashed. I just tested this and confirmed it works properly, so give it a go and let me know if it works for you!

    I have a water table situation on a current project. Using a complex profile I created similar to yours. The top of the stone sill is also the bottom of my windows (about 2' above the floor deck.) The floor plan shows the window correctly however the 3d does not. Have tried multiple work arounds to no avail. (Doors will be next) If you've covered in a previous video, appreciate you pointing me to the video. If not, would love to see you address this.

    HI John! What about some windows in that wall if we change a hight of plinth?

      Great question, the windows will cut through the wall regardless of the height of the water table. In most cases you'd likely have the windows set above, but in the case you wanted to intersect them, you could split the wall and drop the water table to bottom of window. Plenty of options here once you get the profile setup right!

    Posible to count the lenght for exemple of the water table?If posible,how you do it?

      The length measurement of the wall will usually provide the same takeoff as the length of water table!
