This may not be unique to their band alone, they may not be the first to do this, but man the thought and time they put through in making this tribute and releasing it as an official song on music platforms YEARS after disbanding makes this a historical and golden milestone for both the band and the fandom. Not many artists would've thought of doing this, let alone do it when they're already disbanded. It's nice to witness the genuine kind of friendship and bond they had in those years that stuck to them 20 years later. I will never get tired of saying Dream Street is an amazing band, and while it may have been short lived in the eyes of fame and spotlight, the journey of the band and the fans will forever be an intimate and personal experience no one could even take away from us. ❤ I'm so proud of you guys! Thank you for building a community of fans who support each other through thick or thin. LONG LIVE DREAM STREET! CHEERS TO FRIENDSHIPS THAT TRANSCEND LIFETIMES! 🎉🥰

I had the pleasure of meeting the guys back in 2001 at a local music store with my younger sister, and I told Chris his hair was too high (sister was so embarrassed because he was her favorite). I'm glad I will always have that memory even if I did embarrass my sister at the time (Chris was cool about it, if I remember. This was 23 years ago)

I just saw this because I listened to the song the first time today and you guys had me bawling in the breakroom. I never met Chris, but his death hit me so hard because a few months prior covid caused me to be put in a coma and I nearly died myself, well technically I did and was brought back. I feel so much survivor's guilt and hate that people lost so many loved ones, I hate that I'm here instead of people like Chris. But anyways, it is such a beautiful song, I truly love it!

It just a guess but after their interview on Lance Bass’s podcast Frosted Tips which they all gathered at Frankie’s house in the Bronx for the interview. I bet that Greg, Frankie, and Matt just met up at Frankie’s again to record the song. I think that they tried to include Jesse but with him being the break out artist from Dream Street and having a thriving solo career that his schedule is wasn’t conducive to allowing him the time and opportunity to be apart of the the song. Jesse is based out on the west coast in LA and Greg Frankie and Matt are all based on the east coast since Greg lives in Queens while Frankie and and Matt both live in the Bronx so it was easier for the three of to get together.
