- In this episode we hit the tracks for the first time after 8 months of lockdown. We head to the Tallarook State Park for a day trip - not as exotic as some of our other trips but boy, it's so good to get out in the bush again!
This video also incorporates many new and experimental camera and editing techniques; don't be shy on leaving a comment if you like of dislike. Your feedback helps us make better videos!
Nice trails! Loving the drone shots too
Yeah man, we got a drone! This vid was the first time we flew it, bit nervous but managed not to crash. There's going to be some great shots to come!
Saw you on top of Mt.Hickey on the day! Thanks for the stickers :)
Hi guy's. Yeah, l remember. Thanks for the chat too, always great to meet new people on the trails. Maybe we'll see you again out there - or somewhere else next time! Cheers
Tallarook is where I live. I'm glad you seem to enjoy the area :)
Yeah i do, great place! I often do day trips out there. Cheers.
Oi oi m8, Chris sent us over last vid. ❤️
Ah, awesome! He's a champ. Hope you enjoy my content! Later video are better than the earlier ones. Cheers!
Hello Unlimited Expedtion,
After watching _all_ of your 36 Episodes from your Big Trip around Australia i thought its about time to leave you a comment ;-)
First of all thank you very much for all the time and work you put into these episodes, i truly enjoyed your "art of filmmaking"
.
It makes me sad and angry the same time that your channel only has so low subscriptions - You will know for sure other "Ozi WD4 Travelling" Channels with more subscribers but much worse content :-/
You guys definitely deserve more subscribers - well TH-cam works in mysterious ways :-/
Anyway, correct me if i am wrong but your Big Trip already ended in 2019 - With episode 36 to be the last one, right?
It would be awesome if you could do a summary/recap episode for your big lap with topics like:
- Which route you took and why, did you skip certain parts why?
- Lessons you learned during the trip?
- Things you would do different the next time?
- Equipment you missed and stuff you took with you without a use
- Money: Overall Costs, Fuel Costs, Camping Costs, Food etc.
- Jeep / Camper-Trailer, how did the combo held up. What broke, what performed well etc.
- Highlight / disappointment of the trip?
- Favourite state / region / campsites?
I am certain this would be a great and successful video!
Alright have nice day, keep those videos coming ;-)
Happy New Year!
Seb from Germany
Great idea. There's probably a few videos worth of evergreen information in there worth putting together.
Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate that. And thanks for watching all 36 episodes! You might be the only person who has got through all of them!!! And yes, we got back to Melbourne in may 2019, just took me a while to get all the vids out. I will take your advice and do a summary video - a few people have requested this. I'll be sure to answer your questions. I don't have much time right now, but early next year we are doing a big trip and that would be a good time to do it. Stay tuned!
Cheers!
What milege do you have?
Just over 200k km.
@@theunlimitedexpedition9418 Did you have any issues with your 2.8 CRD?
@@ChebanSergey no, not really. It's been pretty good to me so far. Just replaced a clutch fan and a couple of injectors so far.
@@theunlimitedexpedition9418 thanks!
