lol so funny I cant tell if they are being serious or not. Like at 2:43 when he said the bike looked sick lmaoo, and the beginning talking about the paint job. Cant tell if they have the most chill dry sense of humor or if they just two awkward high guys. Or maybe both
You should be able to get your desired crank length with a bike like this instead of being stuck with 170mm cranks, since it's impossible to get pro spec cranks with the SRAM logo any other way. I'm partially salty because I like how they look more than the retail stuff (and I can't get them lol), but also not being able to accommodate components like stem/crank/bar width for fit in a crazy expensive bike is a major stain on the entire industry that shouldn't be tolerated 😂
@@treyshepard1717 This is a general problem with Specialized because their one piece barstems are barely ever in stock in any sizes and they are still behind the trends when it comes to bars that are narrower than 38cm
I had the same experience with BB Infinite. After sending BB back to them and the back and forth messages, them telling me that lbs mechs and I were wrong and the problem has to be in my Allied frame. Extremely condescending and arrogant. I ended up replacing with a SRAM Dub and all quiet. Worse rerun/ warranty experience I have ever had. Never again with them.
Are you guys seeing many SL8’s with the fork issue? There are two in my group of friends alone which makes me think this is a lot more common then Specialized is letting on. Still waiting to hear if they are going to warranty their forks.
Exactly what this guy demonstrates here: th-cam.com/video/2YIbUTbWtvg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Rm4m88stQRZ_uBnw But if you guys aren’t aware maybe it was just an early batch?
TH-cam isn’t letting me post the link to the video but if you search YT for ‘Specialized Tarmac SL8 front fork fault, check yours!’ You will see it. I have two friends with the same issue, waiting to see if Specialized will warranty the fork. Both say it doesn’t seem to effect handling but I wouldn’t accept that. I was about to buy a frame but this has me second guessing that decision.
This is not team-spec bike! You can instantly tell based on if it has a blacked-out crankset or not. Don't know why Specialized/SRAM completely specs out the bikes and advertises them as such and then blatantly miss that detail, even the crank has team-spec coloring so I don't understand why the crankset doesn't have that detail. Completely ruins the mood for me on this bike.

Sick bike, I’m a sucker for some branding details

I agree! Love the bike but I’d need to change bars, stem, crank length, and chainring size!

If you buy two, you’ve got a double advantage.
That a Bargain ❤❤❤
this one of the forward 50? tough call!
Hallo from Poland
beautiful, but the old green was nicer!

+1, what issue. the massive reinforcement insert has instructions to cut it if required.
I have two friends that have the same issue that is detailed here:

Hahaha. You should have build the new trek coz it’s very popular.🤣
That is fuchsia, a kind of pink.
,
Thank you
Looks nice but I'd be scared to scratch it at that price 😂
Yeah im 40 and count into the younger audience 🤝
So nice but cant do those tan side wall tires....
The Chinese government is solely responsible for my short attention span tbh.
Oh, and that’s a cool bike.
Tubes are 45 grams tire sealant isn't light
That’s only for the lightest tubes made. Most butyl 700x28 tubes weight between 100-150g
That’s a SRAM 48 which is like a Shimano 52
They mean how an actual pro spec bike in the tour would have a 52/39, 54/41 or a 56/43
that chain looks short af

😂
I blame the chinese government everyday
Watching at 1.25x speed, speak faster
this fool really said 14k for a bicycle is a good deal 7:25 lol
It cost 20k in Sweden, so yes!
My basic SL8 SWorks costs 15k.
@p3tT4n1 good for you fred.
great video but it kill me you can not do a proper weigh in. if the number is fluctuating it is NOT accurate. also use METRIC not IMPERIAL . :)
We did do a proper weigh in.
@@bicyclestation go watch this how it is done th-cam.com/video/y3S734gFm7A/w-d-xo.html. ;)
