She did have a fierce desire to win. I watched her parade and hit the field at the MV track at her second win and her veins were pumping, trained to the minute, and knew she was there to win, and she did easily. I will never forget that moment.
Sunline would have picked Northerly up and carried him at 1200m-1600m. She faced him at her worst distance. Not in a million years could he have done what she did in Hong Kong.
@@tonylove4800 yeh nah,he was better and even sunlines trainer admitted the Queen had met her king. The was a lot of administration in both camps for each other,its to bad the gelded old norths,can you imagine the offspring,be priceless

All champion horses. Over the cox plate course, id back sunline to win that race. At flemington winx could run her down. Over 1200m black caviar wins by lengths. Over 1600-2000 winx or sunline depending on the track. 2400m + Makybe Diva wins.
@@bornyesterday1895 I LOVE Sunline. I won over $3,000 on her in her first Cox plate win, and she remains my favourite mare. I also scored the quinella and trifecta. However I don't believe that Sunline would beat Winx over 2000 metres. Northerly proved that Sunline could be run down, and Winx would be able to do then same. I agree that Black Caviar was unbeatable up to 1200m.

It would depend on how the race was run, if Sunline slipped that corner and winx had to run wide? but i certainly dont think Frankel beats both of them by lengths as the Ladbrokes computer tried to suggest. Northerly was a great horse, as good as winx i reckon, but there were at least a couple times Sunline left Northerly in her dust.

I thought there'd never be another mare as good as Sunline. Then a long came Makabe Diva, then Black Caviar, then Winx.
