Time for Chad to take a class on how to measure things, lol. I had a job where I had to measure things 100 times a day for 20 years, down to 1 64/th of an inch, so I got very good at measuring things. I worked at a printing company cutting can good labels, and we only had a tolerence of 1 64th of an inch to play with, so we had to be very accurate with our measurements.
Have Nate make an adjustable depth stop on the louver punch. Then you can control depth consistant and even do progressive depth louvers front to back on a hood, roof, trunk etc.. next level
And don't stop there , now he can sell louvered hats , shoes , and Jolene please stay out of his way or he might think a few louvers would look good on you too . Where does it stop ?
@@Welder-y5x I’m not so sure it will whistle Dixie, but would image it’s going to be howling like a wounded coyote with all those louvers!!! And that’s only if it’s driven on the road not just to the pole building 🤣👍🏻

I think Chad is mostly interested with turning his visions into raw (rough) creations; that is what excites him and drives him. He does the part that very few others can do which is to create unique concepts with abandon where limits and rules do not restrict him...then he is off to the next project. So, this project is nearly done for Chad. I would enjoy seeing it sold to someone who may want to put the finishing touches on it. Then have them bring it back to the property for an encore display...or not. It will be beautiful even if it stays rough and burned with sanding wheel "brush" strokes.
You accidentally miss marked back passenger louver. The spacing is a little different than the back driver side one but still looks great . I love it chad . Great job

Man that is so cool! The louvers really work on the hood. How about get the Ford green paint code and do a rough spray job on the trunk lid with a bit of added patina to match the existing degraded paint and do the same with the Jag white paint code on the roof. Or go all green.
This is interesting on measuring the hood I like to put a level on the hood ,mark the center o f the hood o t he level and use a tri square and transfer the mark to the hood. Chad the hood looks good. If you decide to keep the patina then I hope you put a clear coat on it to seal it and maybe paint the trunk lid either the roof white or green to match car and make make the patina and clear coat seal it or just paint the whole car ,it will good either way. I see cars with trunk with louvers and even a roof, but the only hood I seen louvered was on the side to give the bay more air circulation. Never the top of a hood Well time will tell the looks. Good Luck.
It would look great painted dark high metallic blue with silver metallic roof or dark green high metallic with a tan pearlescemce roof. Just saying it would look beautiful hope you all are having a GREAT day.God bless ypu all .
