Yes I agree..so if u do drive it to go pick something up u can drive it with the lid on it there and on way home u have a place to store it while something in back
Just want to say hi Jolene Chad Doug and Nathan and let you know that the car turned out better than I thought it would. Thumbs up to all of you. God bless and have a blessed evening and night
Chad and the team, are showing another level of skill cutting, shaping and refitting the original mouldings and/or reshaping them. Always the small stuff that really matters. Inspirational stuff.
Hey Chad, my suggestion for the trunk is to construct a sliding accordion type canvas panel that is connected to a side track that you can simply pull down to enclose the trunk space when the motorcycle is out of the car. Similar to sliding canvas tops on British cars form the 50's. It can follow the contour/profile of the car but would look a lot better than trying to haul an awkward panel on the roof!
I missed the past few shows and when tuning in tonight, all I can say is WOW!!! What fantastic progress!! Love the louvers on hood, top, and decklid. Just amazing! I'm a bit of a motorcycle guy and believe what you have there is a 1966 CZ 125 and a remarkable specimen to say the least. Chad you have a motorcycle collection beyond belief - many rare and highly sought-after bikes to be sure! Great work Hiltz AutoCo!!! Big fan from CLE OH USA.
That car looks awesome from the front with the louvres and lowered split windscreen. Lots of know how and work to get the build to this stage by the team.
Chad, The louvers on the front hood look great. Watching you put on the front window. With all the modifications it looks very good for a win. I know, now, that once they old girl is finished and either repainted or possibly do a were sanding to work with the patina. Hopefully the obvious surface rust can be worked out. I will say that I am gaining an education by watching your show and others. Hope you enjoy the holidays.
Car looks great! Happy to see a smile on your face and enjoying the progress of your hard work! Nice to have great friends and a Queen like Jolene! Good job all around! Stand guard Fina!
It's a well louvered car, maybe a complementary or matched color for the roof and trunk lid. Looks really good. So many options for this build. Great job!
Wow! I think this is one Bad Ass looking car with or without the motorcycle! I love watching to see how creative you are. You can see your brain turning as you work through every aspect of the build. Big thumbs up from Iowa!
Chad, just a comment about your audience that dislikes louvers. The lovers of custom Hot Rods and custom builds like Ian Roussel from California had all of his louver work that needed done at Gene Winfields shop who by the way used louvers in his builds .Gene had a louver maker in his shop. The people that wanted louvers Gene would cut them for his customers at his shop. Great of you to bring back the louvers in your present build. 🤟
I love it. I am a biker and have a very small collection. As well as several projects. I like the bike hauler and the covered, louvered coup. The split window is right on! The smaller bike is cool. Thank you for sharing this journey.
Chad, my name is DIGGER. I’m from the Pittsburgh, Pa area. You’ve don’t a nice creation to an old. It’s a rare but classic look. A beautiful job. Well done. My problem is, you’ve done such a nice job on the car but you’re leaving it unpainted. A black paint job on that car with a 2 1/2 whitewall like Henry Ford would have done with a double red pinstripe on the wheels inside the chrome rings would look so classy.
VERY IMPRESSIVE HOW YOU BENT THAT FLAT STOCK BY BANGING IT ON THE FLOOR... THAT DESERVES A LIKE JUST FOR THAT... WELL DONE! ALL THE BEST FROM THAILAND.... 🤘
I love the way the car looks now. This bike looks more in proportion to the car. Another wonderful job done by Chad, Jolene with team Nate and Doug. A MASTERPIECE IN THE MAKING❣❣❣❣🐈⬛ PS Do you think it would be nice if you sanded it to the metal?
I love the attention to the small details of this custom like the square drip rails on a curved A pillar, the slight mismatch of the door and roof line and the the body line that ends 2-3 inches behind the door. Well done
Better choice for the motorcycle. The guys did a great job on the windshield. Doug's a good behind the scene guy. He's putting together a lot of small jobs that no doubt have been rattling around in Chads head. Sometimes it is the little things getting done that can give you breathing space. Nathan is a great help with the mechanical side, getting things to work as Chad creates. A good work around can make a project come together. I've seen all sorts of 'trailer queen's' that I wouldn't try to start or drive because their all show and no go. Nice that Chads toys can be played with.
Hey Bad Chad and queen Jolene on the camera, 1, It does look like the trunk cover would fit on the right side of the motor cycle, not the roof. 2, you did great work reconstructing the door tops. 3, in my opinion you are not a car builder, but an artist. You don't use oil or water paint but you dabble in chassis 's and sheetmetal, all artist produce their works from there heart, im sure some like them and some don't, but that doesn't change the final outcome. I've watched every episode of the 38 and I hope you do something like paint the whole vehicle and I can't wait for the interior, great work, keep it up
That is one might fine build Chad, Nate, Doug and Jolene great job 👏 👍... l still think you could hinge the trunk lid in the middle so when you've got it fitted , yiu could still load the trunk up without having to remove it completely then you could have a sliding bolt to keep the two sections of the trunk locked together , and maybe it could help to fold the trunk lid in half , when it's unbolted so you can carry it on a roof rack on to of tge car , when carrying a bike ... just an idea 💡
Hi Team Hiltz, nice work everyone the car is really looking good & so are the signs although I am sure Doug is probably tired of painting them. Nate has been doing awesome work as well, they make great team members. Chad instead of strapping the decklid to the roof why don't you Hinge it in the middle or make it 2 piece. If it was hinged you could simply fold it up and put it in the back with the motorcycle and same thing with a 2 piece decklid. I have to admit Chad that I was originally against cutting the car up however, I must admit with prep and paint I believe that you would have a real show car! Jolene great video work as always, you do such a fantastic job on decision making and the camera work. Fina looked like she was really enjoying getting loving from Doug she is a good judge of people!
Dude, roll the empty portion of the tube up to keep the glue fed to the tip, and not going back down the tube LOL. Keep up the good work. Pretty cool watching the mods!
Man the car is absolutely BADASS!! Great job Nate and Doug for helping and great job Chad for making this car look alot better. Especially if and when it got painted. And great job Jolene for the amazing camera work!!
You are the expert of hitting metal to bend . We will borrow that . Our use of hydraulic jacks and a holding station ,has taken us 10 times longer than your method and there is no quality difference. Your way seems to maintain speed , efficient and quality . So that was cool !
For those wondering. The bike is made by Česká Zbrojovka, which was a Czechoslovakian firearms manufacturer. Chad's is a mid '60s single cylinder, which were 125cc. Known as a CZ-125.
That CZ looks 100% better, and much better fit. Cz's were a real popular dirt bike in the 60's, & 70's used for motocross, scrambles, flat track, etc. That one is an enduro, made for street or dirt, but not a race bike. That's a rarer find than the car! The CZ means Czechoslovakia. That thing is worth 10 of those Triumph's. Nice switch. Looks like it was meant to be!!
I changed my mind. I was disappointed when you started cutting up that great classic car, but now I am impressed how it turned out. It looks dreat with all the trim lines on doors roof, the whole car. Thanks to all Jolene, Nathan, Doug, and you, Chad. I can't wait to see it painted. Surprise Color?
What is the make and model of the bike? My wife saw it and wants me to find one for her - Also - LOVE the vids, cars, bikes and Fina - just everything you are doing - Thank You! - This California teacher watches everyday :-)
i like this cars stance and looks its perfect , i would love to own, it for sure , but i would have to paint it a nice burgundy with a cream roof , and a wine red interior , but thats just me as it will keep that classic look , but well done guys your all doing an awesome job , looking forward to see the finished outcome, thankyou all very much foe the wealth of knowledge you give, your all so very much appreciated take care looking forward to the next video as always you make my day , thankyou
Love the fact that you show and explain what you're doing and have inspired me to to follow my Passion with cars and metal work one of the best car shoes out there ❤
Chad if you were born in the teens, and had the chance to blossom into a early car designer you would be one of the best designers of that era. But you have done it years later and still will be famous for your outstanding ability to see things in your mind and make it happen like a artist with metal.
You start the windshield install bottom first by setting the rubber seal over the pinch weld, Apply pressure to the glass frame and using windshield installation tools, pull the seal in from the inside from the bottom up. Screwdrivers are not install tools for glass.
You should make the trunk lid a two piece system. Cut it in half, put pins on the bottom piece that would fit into the bottom of the top piece. That way when it comes off, it can be in two smaller sections that would fit either beside the bike or behind the front seats.
That is a very nice car. I would suggest a canvas cover for the trunk. Used only when on an outing. You might also make an opening in the trunk lid, with a removable cover. That would be easy to store and the trunk lid sides would be there to keep the wind and debris out.
The only issue I see with the hood on top is impaired rear vision being impaired but I'm sure anyone behind you would be in awe and not a problem. I think the whole car came out fantastic, good one Chad and team.
Personly, I Think, that if you half the truck lid you could place it either side of the mother cycle, I don't know it's Just an Ideat, it would save putting some kind of roofrack which would spoil the look of the coup, But it's All Good, Good Job, Great Filming, Great Helpers with Doug, and Nat, and Good explanation By Chad, Thank You Pleas Give A Cuddle to Fina...
The bike's Jawa, from a Checkoslovakian company. They had a plant in India too which was set up in partnership and was called Ideal Jawa. The plant was in Mysore and is defunct now. They mostly made the 250cc here which has two exhausts. The the handle bar was exposed unlike in this example. They did briefly make a 175 cc I think which had a single exhaust and also a 350 cc. They were in operation for a couple of decades and folded up in the 90's or 2000's as they could not withstand the Japanese onslaught.
Great job guys, the car is gorgeous 😎👍 Even the smallest motorcycle fits perfectly All you need is a few hooks on the roof to hang the trunk on like a surfboard
Mon I'm digging the design on the trunk I may do that to my 47 Chevy Coupe trunk have it multiple purpose. No since in having an big empty trunk without using it. I like the roller idea that pulls out makes it easier to pull heavy stuff out. And looking cool with a chop and louvers.
I think a green or dark blue 1932 Indian Scout motorcycle would look perfect on the back of the new motorcycle hauler Coupe. The windshield looks good. Hey, Chad, go buy an Indian! Build a trunk/boot lid mount on the roof.
The louvered trunk looks good, but trying to haul it is something else. I would think that a fabric section like a sunroof on a VW 21 window VW microbus would work and be easy to take with when the motorcycle is in the back.
Hey CHAD, I would suggest that the car itself is going perfect so far ad for the boot lid you can cut it from the centre and set it in such way that it slides in and out on either side of the boot when the bike is placed inside. That ways you wont have to place it on the roof. The car looks AWESOME so far❤❤
the window looks nice takes me back to early hot rods for sure .everything is cool as .great job chad doug nate and queen jolene .and fina of course .till tomorrow
I really like all your vehicles but i really dig the car hauler, well done and you are inspiring me to do something similar in my retirement years. thankyou very much,
Chad split the trnk cover down the middle then make the louvered trunk cover sides slides under the green sides of the trunk out of sight as well as coming with you just a suggestion, i lover our work you and jolene re the best by far,
I think it would be a great idea to split the back lid in half and make the top half lock in place and put a set of hinges on the lower half and latch so it's a smaller lid open for bags or whatever. Also it be able to store the whole lid on each side of the bike and keep the roof clean and unnumbered. I hope he reads this and considers it. Please help to forward this to Chad and let's see what happens. Thanks all if you help!!
My name is DIGGER from the Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania area. I can’t believe you’re not painting it. I love what you did with did with this car. I think a solid black paint job with a 2 1/2 in whitewall. That would look so cool
Suggestion, make the trumk lid a 2 piece so that each can be stowed on each side of the motorcycle while in transit. You should also consider a locking device so the sliding cycle platform doesn't flow out the back when traveling down the road.
Jolene you should have Chad build a mini replica of this car that fits on the cycle cart... that would be freaking awesome to see you guys pull up to a car show and drive your little car around the car show, put it in the back and drive home in the big one.
The lines on this car are mint, it looks beautiful now, even with the cheese grater on the rear. Hinge the cheese grater in the middle and it would slot in behind the seats. 😎 If you did a full resto job on this car it would be phenomenal 😂😎🇬🇧👍
The truck cover cut it in the middle and out hinges so then u can fold it together and pit it in beside the motorcycle. Great job bad chad and queen jolen.
I suggest a clip on soft top on the trunk lid, mohair or similar. Also maybe seal the roof louvers from underneath and fit a heater, After seeing the snow you have there, turned out nice though, well done guys!
Yeah my man Bad Chad, I’ve been a backer since the start, other than the Triumph, and I appreciate you and Jolene and crew, but changing out the bike made my day, now that what I was talking about, great choice Chad! 👍
Chad you should split the rear hatch length wise and have them scissor and lift over the fenders. Like how the old 1930's cigarette smoke stands use to close up.
Getting glass put in... Nice to see. The fact that this started out as a drivable vehicle should make it easier to pass local safety requirements. Looks sleek.
Chad, Jolene, Dougles, Nathan the car looks really good, your vision is amazing, that’s the right bike, Thank You DanTheMan for the idea !!! But I got to say, I like it along with the story
Well I for one trusted in the Hiltzes process and as "usual" Bad Chad came through with the great end result. The only doubt was all the whiney commentators, Chad Jolene Nathan and Doug all fantastic artists in all they do love it love you guys. Really great entertainment. Thank you so much. 😊
Make the trunk lid fold in half with hinges so it can tuck away in the back .😊
Can you put a spare tire in this so called trunk ?
Could you just have a tounneau cover. Just roll it up and stash it in the car for trips with the bike
Excellent idea! That's what I would do if it were mine.
Take a look at an old roll top desk. Make it work like that. Also look at the cybertruck’s retractable bed cover.
It could fold twice and stow even smaller
Hey Chad, make the trunk lid in two peices and store it on each side of the bike. Nie work, great videos. 👍
I think this would be the best way. 👌
You have pretty low standards. It looks worse than what he started with. But it says to do with what he wants.
Chad and the team, are showing another level of skill cutting, shaping and refitting the original mouldings and/or reshaping them. Always the small stuff that really matters. Inspirational stuff.
You always make things look better than I could imagine. I'm amazed.
that must have shut all the doubters down - its looking stunning!
I agree with you 100% 😊
Hey Chad, my suggestion for the trunk is to construct a sliding accordion type canvas panel that is connected to a side track that you can simply pull down to enclose the trunk space when the motorcycle is out of the car. i like that idea!!
I like that idea too!!
They don’t hold up to rain very well but then neither will a louvered roof …
Had them on several of my pickups back in the day . Good quality will hold up if you take care of it.
VW bug sliding canvas sunroof would be nice
I missed the past few shows and when tuning in tonight, all I can say is WOW!!! What fantastic progress!! Love the louvers on hood, top, and decklid. Just amazing!

Hats off to Chad. Initially I thought this was going to be huge mistake but Damn it's now its amazing
That car looks awesome from the front with the louvres and lowered split windscreen. Lots of know how and work to get the build to this stage by the team.

This build is such A WICKED COOL RIDE! Mad props BAD CHAD & CREW !!!
It's a well louvered car, maybe a complementary or matched color for the roof and trunk lid. Looks really good. So many options for this build. Great job!
Why would you worry about leaks in the windshield when you have a louvered roof?
Wow! I think this is one Bad Ass looking car with or without the motorcycle! I love watching to see how creative you are. You can see your brain turning as you work through every aspect of the build. Big thumbs up from Iowa!
Chad, just a comment about your audience that dislikes louvers. Turned out amazing. I keep watching because everyday it's an adventure, and you keep pouring out the goodness. You all do a great job...
Looks fantastic. Good job all 4 of you!!!

This metal masterpiece is coming together beautifully!! Definitely a favourite of mine so far! Well done team!
Well done
The door window frames turned out really cool and the final car has gorgeous lines!
I still think a small visor over the windshield would look good.
With louvers.
Also would give extra support for the roof.
No can do because the wipers are mounted above the windscreen
@@briancourt4280Chad can find a way!
Better choice for the motorcycle. The guys did a great job on the windshield. Doug's a good behind the scene guy. He's putting together a lot of small jobs that no doubt have been rattling around in Chads head. Sometimes it is the little things getting done that can give you breathing space. I told ya it was gonna look a million bucks. SUPER COOL. LETS GO GUUUYS

Like to see what a front metal windshield visor would look like on this car. Looking good!
I was thinking the same thing, Like off a 50s style car.
I'd like to compliment all of you at Hiltz motors. You're doing an amazing job on the 38.
Dude, roll the empty portion of the tube up to keep the glue fed to the tip, and not going back down the tube LOL. Keep up the good work. Pretty cool watching the mods!
The guys work well together!
Man the car is absolutely BADASS!! Great job Nate and Doug for helping and great job Chad for making this car look alot better. Especially if and when it got painted. And great job Jolene for the amazing camera work!!

How many Canadians does it take to build a custom car? Who cares. They’re badasses at doing it. You guys are awesome!
This show sure reminds me of the old days home in the body shop with my dad
It looks so aggressive. I love it ❤ well done, Chad's mind 👏
i like this cars stance and looks its perfect , i would love to own, it for sure , but i would have to paint it a nice burgundy with a cream roof , and a wine red interior , but thats just me as it will keep that classic look , but well done guys your all doing an awesome job , looking forward to see the finished outcome, thankyou all very much foe the wealth of knowledge you give, your all so very much appreciated take care looking forward to the next video as always you make my day , thankyou

That car has been changing for the better súper clássic look with a hot rod touch. Good work boys I would not carry any bike, just Cruze.
That is a very nice car. I would suggest a canvas cover for the trunk. Used only when on an outing. You might also make an opening in the trunk lid, with a removable cover. That would be easy to store and the trunk lid sides would be there to keep the wind and debris out.
The car is looking Great Team. I won't forget the drive that happened before the build. It sounded awesome. That's my opinion. Add the 2 and OOH YEAH
I absolutely love the car. Great job folks!

I wish I could be there with you working on your car. I started doing body work 65 years ago. You're doing an excellent job. And I like it.
Great work to all to keep rain out of louvers three d print clear inserts with soft green leds to compliment the original green paint make it glow!
Looking good you guys, the windshield helped a lot an the appearance,,I like it,,hi to the whole crew,,luv ya’s,,👍👍😀
Great job guys, the car is gorgeous 😎👍

I still think you should paint it, but other than that it looks awesome. Great job you all. Love it.
the window looks nice takes me back to early hot rods for sure .everything is cool as .great job chad doug nate and queen jolene .and fina of course .till tomorrow
I really like all your vehicles but i really dig the car hauler, well done and you are inspiring me to do something similar in my retirement years. thankyou very much,
Chad split the trnk cover down the middle then make the louvered trunk cover sides slides under the green sides of the trunk out of sight as well as coming with you just a suggestion, i lover our work you and jolene re the best by far,
Go for it Chad 👁 🐅 👌 Yay! Love Surprises 👍😎
The car has a great stance .
It looks awesome .
The front view is mean looking .
You guys work well together.
Ford is shaping up well. Once it’s all back together its going to look and be all right! All four of you are doing a great job.
Looking good!!! Great job you guys. I didn’t much like at first but It sweeet. 🙏♥️🙏
Awesome build
Well done everyone 👍👍🤣
The shape of the car is awesome! This might be the best one yet!
I agree about splitting lengthwise, much better than going over the roof… UGLY! 44:52
As I've said in the past he always comes through, this car looks amazing well done everyone, Chad the artist
How about skirts for the back tires? I think that would really cap it off. I love the look of that car!!
I enjoy how you follow your vision Chad. Even with twists and turns.
Great team !
You pulled it off again Champ I should've known you would. I love it.❤ You had me worried for a minute there but now she's a beauty! 👏
😉✌
Jolene you should have Chad build a mini replica of this car that fits on the cycle cart... that would be freaking awesome to see you guys pull up to a car show and drive your little car around the car show, put it in the back and drive home in the big one.
The lines on this car are mint, it looks beautiful now, even with the cheese grater on the rear.
Hinge the cheese grater in the middle and it would slot in behind the seats. 😎
If you did a full resto job on this car it would be phenomenal 😂😎🇬🇧👍
Wow. Looking great. Really happy you guys got the lovers in the hood going the correct direction. Didn’t get to watch but I always catch up.
Best styled car i have seen in years. fabulous build.
every one has done an amazing job . waiting to see what is done with the trunk lid
