    This was great! You really couldn't tell that she had any color on her cheeks until you showed the before and after. She looks amazing!

      Aww this makes me so happy!! I use washable markers for freckles, they work super well too 🥰

      @@EvelynRoseAG I use washable markers too. I like the Crayola multi-cultural markers.

      The nice part is that it stays on until you wipe it off. No commitment but you can also keep it on as long as you’d like.

    A good alternative for Mod Podge is Liquitex varnish! It's meant to seal the paint, is already super thin, and comes in four finishes- gloss, super gloss, satin, and matte.

    Now to find a doll I'm ready to do this on! I'm too afraid to touch my original PC girls... since their lack of coloring is original. But maybe my #40 could use a small faceup to help me reconnect! Thanks as always for the video! These tutorials are perfect

      Thank you Kaley! ❤️ I understand being afraid to touch your PC girls. I’ve done two of mine - my childhood Kirsten, and a PC #16. Meredith, my #16, had no teeth before I fixed her up, and the teeth were definitely harder than I anticipated, but she looks so much better now. If you end up trying it, I would love to see pics 🤗

    Thank you very much I will try to refresh the lips an cheeks of my 2 dolls i would like to know what color you use and the brand

    • @EvelynRoseAG
      @EvelynRoseAG  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Hilda! I’m glad this was helpful. The main color I use is “Terracotta” by Craftsmart. There’s also a “Coral” color I use if I need to lighten the paint a bit. You can get a few different colors to mix together and experiment.

    Hi there! This was really helpful. I have a couple questions though: 1) The link you provided to a floating medium points to a bottle of FolkArt that's described as "yellow" and "glossy." Don't I probably want clear and matte? Or do those designations not actually matter? I just want to make sure I get the right thing. I definitely want the cheeks I touch up to be matte, not glossy. 2) When you apply ModPodge over something, like doll cheeks, is there a visible border where the ModPodge stops? Like, could someone looking at the doll see that there's an edge to the sealed area that makes that area a slightly different color or texture or shininess? Or is that sealant truly invisible and indistinguishable from the rest of the face?
    Thanks so much for your help!!

    • @EvelynRoseAG
      @EvelynRoseAG  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you! The floating medium link must be broken from when I released the video. It should be clear and it will say floating medium. I have never tried mod podge as a sealant on blush. I use MSC for that kind of thing. If you use it on lips, you just need to be careful to blend it out because just like paint, it can dry with an edge. Feel free to message me on instagram with any other questions!
