Reuben and Ashley have *no right* to question Andrea’s decision about her husband or kick her out of her own home. At least Andrea was prepared for their disgusting moves.
Sadly I can believe that, people like Ashley and reuben are more like vultures circling then caring family. And sadly I have a feeling I have a family member who do this.
These stories really piss me off. When my dad died, his will stated that my mum was to inherit 100% of his estate, with certain possessions being sold and also going to her (if nobody else wanted them). We have not received a single penny from his will. Why would my mum NOT inherit everything, though? She was the one married to him for 65 years. I can't stand these stories where the oldest son swoops in, takes ownership of the house kicking his widowed mother and anyone else living there out and also expecting all the ineritance money for themselves. Even if my dad had split everything between us, my mum would still have got the lion's share - as his surviving wife. That said, her will was identical, and had she died first then my dad would have got everything. I know a lot of these stories originated from the Far East where the culture is very different - do they really skip the remaining spouse and give everything to the oldest son?! This isn't Georgian London (ie early 1800s).
These two are horrible people and only think of themselves. Like others have said, I would cut them off if they mentioned an inheritance like this too. It's not only expensive to put someone in a nursing home, but it's also extremely expensive to pay for in home care services if they have to pay out of pocket. It is very hard and overwhelming to be a caregiver and people can easily burn out, especially with no support from others, which happens all the time. I hate people like Ashley and Reuben. At my last job I worked with those with disabilities, elderly and caregivers and there are too many people are like this in real life.
This is truly a sad story. Ruben was a lousy son, showing no respect towards his parents. His pride was greater than anything. Pride goth before a fall.
It's just sad knowing there are actually families like this. Gotta say...hubby and I just celebrated our 29th a couple days ago. I have said MAYBE 20 words to my FIL all this time (I do talk to my MIL a couple times a month...and hubby is usually at his parents' house at least once a week - we live 5 blocks away). I'd still be there for them if either one of them needed me like this. With or without my hubby. It's FAMILY. Unless they are toxic, of course, it's just what family DOES for each other. No "pay back" expected!
@@privatejapan5599Thank you for telling me this. It is nice to find out the differences in what people say. It makes me feel bad for saying it now. I did not mean to insult an entire state. 😳😱🤐. Have a good one!!!
Ashley and reuben belittles and refuses to help with their parents Andrea " oh wait what's this, my will just change to leave you nothing, how strange, oh well, you and your wife didn't deserve anything anyway"
Ashley this is what you get for assuming you were entitled to somebody else's stuff. Ashley's parents did a horrible job raising her with proper manners.
One thing I told my when he was talking about leaving me money,I told him I didn’t want his hard earned money money. I want him to take my share and go enjoy himself with it. He earned it not me.
I have felt that when it comes to family , always expect the worst. When you are feeling comfortable and feel you are surrounded by people who love you, you will be stabbed in the back, many times, and often, there will be multiple family members stabbing you.
'Half a year later ' to me = 6 months later.. Glad the mum found a nice 'hoke' to go and live in without the son and his greedy wife were left with a dump house to try and live in.
I've joked about putting my Mom in a home but I would never if I could care for her myself. I also encourage her to spend as much money as she can and enjoy her life. I expect zero inheritance. This is just a story but there are really people like that in the world.
If the house was in good condition I would Leave the Boxes outside and turn the Lawn Sprinklers on and change the house locks then call the police so they are ready to arrest them if they come over the next day and try to get in the house.
9:07 "From now on, it will be Reuben and I living in that house, just the two of us." "No. I refuse. This house is MINE and you are not welcome in it. You refused to come when I needed you, so you are no longer a part of MY family and are not welcome in MY HOME. I'm sending your boxes to the dump, where they belong, and informing the police that if you step ONE TOE onto MY property, they are to arrest you for trespassing. Reuben is NO LONGER MY SON, and HE WILL NOT INHERIT ONE PENNY OR GRAIN OF SAND FOR AN INHERITANCE. NO money, NO land, and NO HOUSE. Get out of my life. You're GOOD at that. My husband and I discussed it before he died, with Reuben talking about HIS money and HIS inheritance, and how I had to save money by destroying my body TRYING and FAILING to carry my husband around. He weighed more than I do! I couldn't do it, but Reuben insisted, because he wouldn't ALLOW me to spend money to take care of my husband properly, because he was so greedy. Yet NOT ONCE did he come to visit his father and show filial piety before he died and now you don't even know when the funeral is! My husband and I spent his last days doing all the paperwork and going through all the hoops to have Reuben legally disinherited. So, you can go to the dump and search for your things. I SWEAR, I'll have you arrested if you step onto my land!" Fixed it for you.
The son not only going to kick out his mom but not even knowing it is the day of his father's funeral? Also why do people think they are going to inherit when they didn't give thier parents money in life? I would BURN my money before giving them any money if that is the way they treated me. Actually better would be to leave my money to the stray cats charity. That way something good would come of it.
Yes, the ending was great. All the money was the mother's money that she earned. The deceased father had no money. And Reuben made her a completely idiotic offer, which after the way they had treated her, was a cinch for the mother to turn down. Be careful how you treat others. Be kind. You never know when unkind bad behavior towards others will come back and bite you.
Soon as my kid mentioned inheritance, he would be cut out of the will.
Reuben and Ashley have *no right* to question Andrea’s decision about her husband or kick her out of her own home. At least Andrea was prepared for their disgusting moves.
My kids ever talked to me like that I'd be in jail. They would have an extended stay at the hospital.
My Mama would tell us "You talk to me like that and I'll be in jail and you'll be dead"
Hospital? They would be missing people who would never be found
The problem, though, is that this *expletive* woman is an in law and doesn't count.
Possibly they could kick her out of the family...
Oh lord, I have misjudged the actual child as well
As someone who works at an assisted living community, I'm sad to say people like this actually exist. 😢
Sadly I can believe that, people like Ashley and reuben are more like vultures circling then caring family.
And sadly I have a feeling I have a family member who do this.
If my kids acted like that I'd make sure they don't get anything!!!! 😮
I'd give them a hard way to go & a short time to get there!
Hell I'm pretty sure they'll go to the grave first if they talked like that to some mums
Here here my thoughts exactly
Good for you Andrea, stay clear from those two 👌👍🤗
Change will. Sell house. Use money for nice retirement home
You wanted the house, you clean it up!
Mother spend all the inheritance...and serves Rueben right...
Ashley is very rude and disrespectful telling mil to shut up.
They would be living in the middle of next week talking like that.

Same here. When my dad passed, everything went to my mom. When she passed, everything was split evenly
I love this mom- and this story!

Who would want Someone like Ashley Take care OF them 😜🙄🥱🙄
Ashley is rude AF.

They are probably from Ohio. We say that in Akron. 😉

...she didn't raise her son right
This is the 2nd straight video I watched with a character named Reuben.
One thing I told my when he was talking about leaving me money,I told him I didn’t want his hard earned money money. I want him to take my share and go enjoy himself with it. He earned it not me.

I think I'd "knock a candle over"on my last trip out the door 🤷♀️
There would have been a sudden fire on the lawn 😊
If my kid asked about their inheritance, it would be my life goal to spend or give away every last penny I have.
9:07 "From now on, it will be Reuben and I living in that house, just the two of us."

My kids wouldn’t dare. I’m small but I’m mean.

Why didnt Reuben apply for unemployment? It wouldnt have paid all the bills but it would have helped.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I forgot the ground floor is the first floor in America. I envisaged a 3 floor house when they were talking about the 2nd floor
why is profanity in these type of text videos..not cool....not correct....
"your guyses"??????? Such stupid grammar
