That’s basically what a grey-water system is - using used but not dangerous water for the pre-wash rinse in both the dishwasher and the laundry. In fact a lot of them have the final rinse in the washer become the first one in the dishwasher.

Yeah, I am feeling sick just thinking about it. However, the thing is that I actually know hicks that actually do this. They are cheap and always looking for a way to save money. I know somebody that puts water in a bucket to wash their vegetables in and keeps that water around for a week before tossing it away. It's so gross.
Good morning from Alabama. I am in my late 60s and my mother was from the country. The idea of using the bathwater would have been yucky. She never did anything like that.
When I was traveling in Africa, one of the desert resorts where I stayed asked us to use a bucket when running the shower for a minute to let it warm up, before stepping in. Then the staff could use that water to clean the floors.
That's the closest I've ever seen to this, and it isn't very close! First, the water isn't used on a body before it's reused -- it's just run with no one there; second, it's used to scrub floors, not clean clothes; and third, it's in the *desert,* where there really is little enough water to have to be that careful with it.
Ah, that's what I like is the DiL kicking back to her over bearing MiL and telling her what is true.....

I know somebody who puts water in a bucket and they use that to wash their fruits and veggies in for a week or so before tossing the water out. She's quite elderly though. It's still nasty- but at least it's a little understandable with a woman who is nearly a hundred years old. She doesn't reuse her bath water though... not for anything.
Used bath water, cslled grey water, can be plumbed to flush toilets
My husband was a plumber for over 20 years before he died of COVID, and he would route our plumbing to do just that. Gray water to just flush the toilets. It saved us alot of money doing that. Our water bill was less than 10 dollars a month because of this little life hack.
Or to water the garden.
I like stories up to around 45 min, they're more compelling than the longer ones

Good morning! I enjoy a mix of the short and long stories, however try to keep the longer one to 45 minutes over an hour sometimes gets to be too much, but I love you guys. Especially you, you're my favorite voice actress ever! ❤❤
The "back in my time" only being 30 years is totally outdated now. She is thinking from the '40s. My parents were married in 1960 and they both worked before and after marriage.
I have the water from my washing machine hose run out the window into eight water barrels that go to watering the vegetables in my garden. I DO have a bucket under the shower to catch that initial cold water but pour it directly into the barrels after I get dressed. It's not much, only a gallon or so. BUT I would NEVER NEVER NEVER put my bath water into the washing machine with shower gel or bath soap residue in it. No way. Not going to happen. I'm 65 years old and my water usage for two months is usually $30-$35 dollars in Southern California where most people pay one or two hundred dollars a month or more. I suspect the mom character has her husband purchase her a new washing machine every two or three years, if not more often, if she's using soapy bath water in it. Lol.

So mother inlaw wanted them to use used bath water to put in the washing machine, all that dirty water . So the dirt from your body goes into the washer so your clothes are washed with dirty water, talk about recycling . Remind my self never to go to mil house ever. 😂😂😂

Short feels like a solid short story. Longer when you throw in some solid twists. Like when nasty mil turned into a reasonable human. Longer just for time and filled with fluff convos-Those are rotten.

Wow. My ex-Mother-in-law was a sweetheart compared to this one. My MIL was opinionated, but she was nothing like this. She wasn't rude.
I like a mix of videos. Both long and short videos are amazing. If you have a mix of videos with varying lengths, I think that it would make people happy. Not everyone loves the short videos because they feel they are too rushed and not every everyone loves the long videos because they feel like they are too lengthy.
I think that if you have a mix that you can make both parties happy.

I like shorter and longer stories! I don’t consider this one a short one, it’s more a just right length of time. 14 to 18 is short, 19 to 30 is my next go to time length.
I despise music playing as well as busy backgrounds.
