Okinawa. Tour of a famous Japanese university. Or the temples that are worth visiting the most? Thank you for all of your videos. They are so inspiring.
Hokkaido seems to be a really nice place. There is no extreme heat like in Tokyo, and there is no rainy season. The land is spacious and beautiful. In winter, it snows the second most in the world and you can enjoy the snowy landscape.
the ease of traveling solo in japan can't be highlighted enough. if you ever happen to be in the erea of the prefectur of nagano, then give the castle of matsumoto a visit.
Actually visited Matsumoto Castle 2 years ago during the winter! Was hoping for a snowy day, but didn't happen so want to see it covered in snow next time!!
I love those small unmanned shops, it's just something really appealing about the fact that they even exist since they need both the trust from the owner to set them up and then the customers respecting the rules and paying for themselves instead of just robbing the money-box. I've seen a few places like that here in Sweden but it was many years ago so I have no idea if they're still around.
I remember going to Hokkaido last August after spending two months in Tokyo and man was the weather nice compared to Kanto. Hokkaido is just beautiful in every single season. It also feels so different to the rest of Japan for some reason...
Wow 😮 Seera, those lavender fields were gorgeous 😍. The pond was out of this world. I thought that the caterpillars were so cute. It would be great if you came back in winter ❄️. Brilliant video, thank you ❤👏
Great video! I couldn't believe how amazing fresh Hokkaido milk and cream is. It's next level. The best Iced Coffee I've had in Japan was in Hokkaido. After having it, the rest of Japan doesn't come close. As an Aussie, though, Australian Iced Coffee is still the best :) Wow, the photo of the Biei pond in Autumn looks amazing. That might be the season to check it out. I hear you on exhausting solo travel! I travelled solo from Sapporo to Fukuoka and everywhere in between over 32 days and by the end of it I was destroyed. The amount of trains and buses with a large suitcase and duffel bag is only good to look back on and laugh! At some stations in Wakayama I had to first lift my heavy suitcase up station stairs, then go back down for my duffel bag, and tie both together, all that at 5.30am LOL. My next trip back I plan on another solo adventure from Nagasaki to Aomori. Will go through the madness in the other direction.
Thanks a lot for consistently sharing your coverage of all the beauty Japan has to offer! The video quality is great to the point where I come back to watch every travel-related video on your channel. I hope you keep making more of these!
Those lavender fields are so pretty! I would like to go to Hokkaido one day and go to cape soya to see the statue of the most northern point of japan that would be so cool!
I'm from Australia and I'm visiting Japan next year. I'm heading over in late May until around mid June. Your videos have been great for learning the in's and out's of getting around, as well as things to do. Very cool channel. Keep it up!
One of my favorite episodes so far. The locations are really nice. I love Lavender and Cherry Blossoms so this episode was really welcoming. From beautiful winters to perfect summers, Hokkaido is a special place to be sure. Glad to see you are doing better Seerasan. Be sure to not over do it!
This was a super cozy video! Love seeing obscure little landmarks and sightseeing spots around Japan. The lavender fields were my favorite. Such a vibrant color and I bet it smelled amazing there. 😊
Hello. Brown bears live in Hokkaido, so please be careful in some places. Recently, many foreign tourists are visiting Japan, and I am worried that some of them may be involved in unforeseen accidents. Have a nice trip!
I just realized Pac-Man Melon 1 000 points. It's really nice how there are various eating places next to Lavendar Fields.. and higher view point. Thank You for presenting various places and locations!
This had a little of everything! Cute countryside, amazing food, a stunning lake AND solo travel! You did so well I'm doing it all the time and definitely know of the woes and difficulty that comes with it. Great job!!!
Furano rings a bell, actually... I just don't know why. Probably saw some other youtuber there. Lavender soda is delicious, but maybe the ramune just is no good... there's one called 'The Sophisticated Lavender', which has Bergamotte citrus in it that's probably my favorite soda ever.
I was in Furano in May! It gave such a surreal feeling being completely enclosed by the gorgeous mountains and all the rice fields. I also recommend Toya and Chitose 🥰
Always nice to watch a Seerasan video on a Sunday morning. I think this should be weekly Sunday ritual (no pressure though). You are almost at 25k. Keep up the good work!
@1:15 cycling (and walking) on the road in rural areas is fine over there. I was in that situation in that big lake north of Fuji, hiking around off track to circle it and all drivers, slowed down, even one with a hybrid, turn his motor on to alert me when coming from behind, and shut it off when past me... such nice people, I really miss living and travelling there.
Not to sound cringey, but I'm a huge fan of Golden Kamuy, which is all set in Hokkaido and focuses on the Ainu people there. I've always wanted to take a trip to Hokkaido specifically if I ever went to Japan.
Hi seerasan, thanks for showing us the beautiful landscapes in Hokkaido. I like your videos, great information from different parts of Japan. I will go to some of the places you have visited, and of course Hokkaido, in the future. I've been to Tokyo twice, but have not been outside the metropolitan area yet. I had Sapporo beer on my way back to Europe flying All Nippon Airways, I don't know if Sapporo beer is brewed in Hokkaido but it's a very good beer. Keep the videos coming, they're highly appreciated, greetings from Norway.
always nice to see hokkaido especially in the summer since you don't see it as often in people's videos so props to sara for showing us all the beautiful nature and scenery
Been enjoying the the travel vlogs lately on your channel! ASMR Sarah is something I didn't know I needed,😅. TSKR ( 16:28 ) Please keep up the great content 👍
Oh wow, thank you! I only just found this video on your channel. I really like the locations you've shown in this one in particular. I am definitely saving this for my next trip to Japan. So much scenery to see :D
Good evening seerasan, thank you for your always nice vlogs. Have you ever been to Shiga or other places? I recommend it as it is a very attractive place.
Loving all the content you are making! Please continue… definitely taking notes of possible places to visit for my upcoming solo Japan trip in about a month! 😊
Another great video Sarah! Thanks for sharing with us. Visiting the little log village in winter would be fun. You look so pretty in your lavender hat 🙂💜
Hokkaido is on my list to visit the next time I'm in japan. Thanks for sharing your solo experience. I did the golden route solo back in March and transit was very reliable and I thought that was all of Japan. But your video highlighted otherwise. Thanks for sharing your trip. So much valuable info.
I was supposed to go to Hokkaido last month (in July) but unfortunately things didn’t go as planned… thank you sharing this video 🥺 It’s nice to see what amazing things are currently there and what I can look forward to when I go next year!
This was a FANTASTIC vlog! I really enjoy this style of video and you seem to have gotten so comfortable doing it. Such a great job. Thank you! That lavender ice cream looked amazing. I want that. And the Shirogane Blue Pond blew me away! I haven't seen that in anyone else's vids. What a wonderful trip! Looking forward to more solo travels!
I've been binging a lot of your videos since I got back from Tokyo for work 2 weeks ago and all the content is making me want to go back ASAP for a proper vacay! Also the Blue Pond is mildly reminiscent of some spots in British Columbia (specifically Killarney Lake, just not at all as blue!).
Solo? I am sure I watched you and your mate eating your way through the entire Hokkaido crop of cherries yesterday🤣. We have caterpillar warnings here in Portugal because if they get on your skin they cause a serious rash. Loved the scenery, especially that lake. Will be in Sapparo October and will look at what is manageable by train/bus to some of your visits. Keep up the good work.
Oh i really need this video! I have an upcoming solo trip to hokkaido this summer too and i’m having a hard time planning due to the limited bus services available and unknown street conditions. Not really sure if the streets are advisable for walking or like just for cars. Also nice to see a glimpse of farm tomita. Didn’t expect the place to be quite big 😅 Can you share the recommended time to spend in farm tomita and the blue lake? I see you didn’t visit the shirahige waterfalls anymore ☺️
WOW! What incredible footage! Heartfelt congratulations on these extraordinary shots! As a drone enthusiast and videomaker, this type of content particularly fascinates me. I also try to create similar content, and I'd love to incorporate some of the styles of your shots into my videos. Great job, truly! 👏🎥🚁come to italy
Hey :) just a quick note, for the blue pond, in winter it's totally covered in snow... Need to go very early winter or very late... Otherwise... It's just like another frozen lake ;)
I dun know abt this species of caterpillars but the caterpillars here where i am at, i was told if u come into contact w them, u would itch like crazy for days
On elderlies hiking up hills, I think you don't give some European seniors enough credit. As someone who lived in Santiago de Compostela, the terminus of the Camino, I've seen quite a lot of retirees make it. Particularly Germans, Italians and Spanish. And I love Hokkaido and the lavender fields. Dunno when I'll get to visit there again..
My first solo trip around Hokkaidooooo!!! LOVED THE SUMMER VIBES THERE!! Where should I travel next guys?? 😆
Your even more Beautiful than Hokkaido :)

those red and white flowers are poppies
Those caterpillars look like neon ones, they're so bright.
Right?! So pretty 🐛
I love traveling solo too. Japan is on my list of the country I definitely ought to visit.
Hokkaido seems very underrated. Every time I see it summer or winter it looks amazing.
If you’re a nature lover, Hokkaido is the place for you!

Would love to visit rural Canada (and the cities) one day!
Vanilla ice cream with cantaloupe definitely recommend ! ❤
Love the lavender & poppy fields 😍 Reminds me of my childhood trips around southern France

1 min in and the helmet on top of your cap is ridiculous and funny 😂
Watching it back while editing I was like …man I looked like that all day? 😂
