F-14BU probably should be at least $40. It has new systems , new radar I think, fly by wire. Heatblur also already gave us a free F-14A. Come to think of it I think the F-14BU should be a full priced separate module.
Hi Red! There's a fantastic pair of videos by 'BKR Willey' that goes through the details of the F-14B(U). Whilst it includes the PTID, Sparrowhawk HUD, LANTIRN updates, EGI (with the Rio's CDNU), and GBU-31 JDAM's (plumbing for the centre 4 pylons) - it doesnt include a new radar (still has the AWG-9) and no Fly By Wire. It *might* get the Digital Flight Control System (DFCS) though. The F-14D Super Tomcat was the airframe that received the APG-71 Radar (as well as JTIDS, GBU-38, IRST and some further avionics). Whilst I do think it will be a paid upgrade/module, I'd be surprised if the B(U) ends up the price of a full module 👍
You have NO idea how disappointed I was there was no USN Phantom A Whisky Cobra would be VERY cool. USMC avaition it SEVERLY underrepresented. A CH-53 would be VERY cool, too
Personally, I would like to see AH-1Q or AH-1S (Early); I'd like a rounded-cockpit variant with TOW, but still carrying the two-gun turret which can be configured with various combiniation of minigun and 40mm AGL aimed through the handheld reflex sight (like what we have on the UH-1H). Later Cobra with 20mm (and God forbid, Hellfire) is a little too similar in capability to the AH-64. I would prefer something appropriate for late Vietnam through the mid 1980s. Of course, I recognize that 7.62mm is a bit useless in DCS due to the weird damage modeling for soft-skin vehicles and infantry (and the lack of suppression mechanics), but the answer to that is for DCS to fix their damage model and add suppression modeling, not to just never make anything with light-caliber guns.
@@bronco5334valid. I like the 3 barrel 20mm and Tows….so my choice would be a mid- late ‘80s variant of the T or W. But I agree 100% that another helo with hellfire is just that…just another helo with hellfire

The G-91 made by other developers is also available on warthunder and MSFS, plus on other platforms like P3D and the freeware Flight Gear

Definitely an AH-1W! Would love using TOW missiles. So much more fun and challenging than hellfires
