It does look a fair bit like a much darker Larimar, or "dolphin stone" as it is known to some. Those stones are rare, and precious because they only come from one tiny part of the world, and were the result of very particular volcanic activity in that area. They're delicate stones in that the sun eventually washes out their rich, sea blue color to a bleached out white, so part of their long term care is keeping them away from sunlight if you ever obtain some. They've got a mystical kind of radiance to them, looking like the rippling light from the waves on the sea floor. A piece of blue oceanic light captured forever.

Wow... That actually turned out gorgeous! 😍 Not what I expected at all. I thought the white would create straight-ish lines but it looked more like waves. Might be interesting to do that technique in slightly different colors for an ocean inspired piece. 😁👍

I've seen the white poured thickley after dropping ink in in like a bloom & then clear poured on top of the white to push it out & over/ under

Petra has tutorials on the cloudy effect but they are done in a different way.
I would love to do resin. But I would need a teacher and help.
When I went to the Resin Courses site, most of the pages I attempted to open had one of those 404 pages “not found”, so I’ll try another day. However, this came out quite stunning! Very interesting effect. Thank you, Julie for sharing your heart!

Well, I'm sure interested! I have the same mold, and finally got some deep pour resin. I have only made one, as I had to do it in layers with 1:1 resin. 😊

I've been trying desperately to find a video on making a mold I am trying to make a 7×7 or 8×8 rectangular those 🔝probably won't work for a rectangular shape but like 7 or 8 inches long with a lip on it and I can't find s mold that is worth what they want so I was gonna make my own but now I'm stuck I can't find a video but your molds are glorious I was hoping you could make a video making a mold so I can try to follow along and make my own or buy one from you either way I love your stuff

It may have been a little darker than expected, but still love it. I tried going to that resin courses, but I can't get the videos to work for me. I will try again when I get my laptop on again.
It would look amazing with all of it being like the center see through area, with the wisps of color.
I kinda wonder a bit how much this will work if you did a large size one like a top for a table and instead of a single middle pour there were like 3 different spots. Either way it came out well especially with the blue part that was hidden until you took it outside. Always liked that blackish silver/grey blue in stones like Laborite or blue tigers eye.
