A couple of tips for you all in the comments: Use citron for moving between trials, Use SB’s kick to skip past the shooty shooty trial then jump round the pillars, Use twilight chopper for optimal times in the parkour challenge. Hope that helped some of you

YES MOOORE! I'd love a golden gnomes speedrun. I remember my little bro used to have to fetch them all the time because the poor bloke's account got reset for various reasons, so now he's genuinely got all the locations memorised perfectly, he genuinely now does these in like 10-20 minutes
A tip for SB movement optimization in between trials, if you kick on the floor without moving and just jump and keep jumping you'll keep all the momentum from jump to jump, but if you kick mid air you lose all the momentum as soon as you touch the floor

i have a sort of challenge for you, wolfy. do any multiplayer game mode (preferably team vanquish) with all-star, but with a catch: you can ONLY use long bomb, and any dummy of your choosing. that’s right: no primary either! but, may the force be with you.
I found a way to cheese the Trial of Hot Doom 1. Use S.H.R.Imp 2. Pass the first 2 stages 3. Activate mech 4. Use the dash to clear the last 2 stages Also from least to most hard 1. Shooty Shooty 2. Balance 3. Recollection 4. Hot Doom btw I cleared recollection on my second try ever
I recommend starting the challenge from the portal in the underground gnome area that lets you enter the trials of gnomus dimension. That would make more sense. Also you shouldn't be allowed to put in the secret code for the rainbow guardian prior to starting the challenge. I like this idea though
I disagree, makes it a bit more accessible and just overall lets you focus on the speedrunning parts of the run :) I think it should be allowed, it makes things a lot less stressful yet still remains a skill-based speedrun for 90% of it
Also for games that scare me, play the back rooms. You’ll basically be playing the same way as the joy of creation:running aimlessly when something moves
Trial of recollection would be fair if you didn't have to hit every single pad. If you could skip even a few it would be so much easier and more fair for everyone like me who can't remember shit
I think you should do a Speedrun for campaign (either 1 of 10 parts or one whole side which is 5 of 10 or the whole thing which is 10 of 10.) Or you could Speedrun crazy targets or the fast food joints. Or you could Speedrun single campaign missions.
Doing this challenge but with a twist, I’m gonna change all the normal trials to wolfy’s challenges from back in the day. We’ll see how this goes Edit: I’ve just thought of another add on and it’s such an amazing thought, rainbow king with chomp thing. Perfect let’s get to it
