If Vinny could read, these comments would make him pretty upset
Hello Vinny, the creator of human knowledge here, glad you enjoyed it! Looking forward to seeing more knowledge from you!
Thanks for inventing human knowledge, I got at least 200 hours on it in steam
Can you add an easier path to faster than light travel
Man, I'm so hyped for human knowledge 2
if this is true, you shouls show the hyperlink text chain (to see how you got from the starting point to end point) as a summary at the end of a round.
when's the next update we've been waiting for ages???!?!
Vinny that was considered TAS only.
14:07 i was drilling that molecular modeling link with my eyes so hard i thought i was gonna leave a hole in my screen
i can't take it it's smack dab in the middle of the page at almost all times
he even passed the mouse arrow over it several times
vinny may be the most visually impaired streamer. i have yet to see a streamer who misses things to the extent that vinny vinesauce does
at 11:25, there was a link to Hydroflouric Acid's structure in JSmol. Could have been even better.
and then at 15:06 scrolling past a link to "molecular design software" I'm losing my mind
This is just like Blue's Clues when Steve can't see the paw print
Vinny has created the nerd equivalent to those phone game ads where they play bad, i have to play it now.
RIGHT?
"What's your favorite Vinesauce vid?"
"Oh, you know, the one where he reads Wikipedia for an hour straight"
Gotta love how he clicked every link except molecular modelling on the Jmol one
Yeah, I noticed that too ha. Pretty hilarious, especially because he still somehow stumbled across it ha
I think it's even more amusing that on his first visit there, he scrolls too fast and misses a Jmol link as well.
-"Is Greece in Europe?"
That's a contender for Vinesauce quote of the year.
It's geoguessr all over again
I mean, ask the Greeks and you'll get at least three different answers.
@@TehCakeIzALie1
From the same greek
It’s obviously easy to know because Greece and Europe in general are both fucking pathetic laughingstocks.
Vinny is not beating the american alegations
Watching Vinny try to find Jmol and scrolling past "molecular modelling" like a billion times was so infuriating. Yes, Vinny, I was in fact screaming at the TV the entire time.
you were like football dad
He scrolled past Jmol itself a few times and still went to other pages. I roared.
MOLECULAR MODELING VINNY IT'S RIGHT THERE
It was on literally every page he went to.
@@polarknight5376 YEAH LOLLLL
Literally made me tweak
I hate the fact that i saw a link to JSmol on the hydrofluoric acid page which would have immediately completed the run.
Biny simply doesnt know chemistry 🗿
Pretty much every chemical links to Jmol on the side bar lol
not seeing molecular modelling for several minutes in the chemistry box wounded me
I'm more annoyed at the fact that he was specifically tunnel-visioning chemical structure, and missed it multiple times at the bottom of the structural chemistry page.
TBF in other subjects is not common to put credits of it like that (if you take a picture of a building you credit the author not the camera model), so its completely unexpected to look one in there
The English Major showing his skills again
The sheer lack of contextual awareness has shattered my bones and left me a decrepit husk
was about to comment smth like that lol
Immediately gets served an article about the English language, has to look up what it means
As if anyone watching would do any better which they would but they would also be wasting their time
I see Van Halen → Bread, and my brain goes:
"Paneeera, paneeera-ah!"
That sounds like a killer Olive Garden commercial
I can't believe how hard he blinded molecular modeling. He even had the cursor right next to it. SMH my head.
I cant believe you said "shaking my head my head"
The funny thing is he didn't even technically blind it. He even said the name out loud but just chose not to click it
@@Bunster That's the joke.
@@Bunster first day on the internet huh, dw we all learn some day
Seriously if only he would just scan the entire section for keywords and not give up after reading 2 lines lol
It's like there was a giant invisible barrier around the molecular modelling link in that template that physically prevented Vinyost from looking past it and seeing the link.
I’m emotionally attached to Jmol now
30:44 He blinded "English" so hard. Just imagine if he played this live, the backseating would be legendary
Yeah, as though all of the blinded backseaters would be able to provide any amount of information.
"The English major that can't read"
@@diacetylmorphines youtube commenters slandering vinny's chat is always funny in an ironic sense
Vindiana Jones and the Jmol of Doom
NotLikeThis
Vinny really is the type of person to, instead of scanning ALL of the rows of links, scan the same row of 6-10 links about 10 times before going "Yep, don't think it's here."
Man, I can't wait for Summoning Salt to make the History of Wikipedia any%, and how Vinny Vinesauce found out a new strat that changed the speedruns forever
That would be the end of our story, but in 2024 the mind behind grey Leno would unexpectedly change the world of History of Wikipedia speedrunning FOREVER
@@Konarcoffee It was first believed that reaching the paranormal page in 3 Clicks would be impossible.
But then, Leno did THIS:
52:13 dude couldn’t resist a casual “let’s check it out”
CHECK IT OUT!
one of my fav bits for sure
now let's go check it out
I'm feeling enraged and enthused at the same time, it's like a trainwreck you can't stop watching.
The Jmol section was frustrating because I saw “molecular modeling” multiple times before he finally found it lmao
Who up Modeling their Moleculars?
Vinny's English major will definitely prove its value here.
watching him pass jsmol and molecular modeling so many times actually made me lose it. thank you mr sauce
When he said that the Alien page would probably help him get to Jmol I said "How??" but then the literal next page did in fact have a link to Jmol.
Should've trusted your gut Vinny
The background music in this video is incredible
21:17 for a second he even put the cursor on it. 🤦
Binyot is illiterate confirmed
lmao
finally he is a wikipedia speedrunner
The real reason why Vibdy didn't stream this live was not the possibility of va-jjs but rather because chat would've practically been screaming at him the entire time
The way vinny is on a page about molecular structures while looking for jsmol and is panicking so bad that he can't find it that the link he clicks is just the page for 'chemistry' is so funny
This looks like a legendary game for staying awake during the night shift.
can confirm
25:58 He finally came to Brazil
11:22 JSmol right there...
That's what I was saying
Bro needs glasses
Thank you for possibly the hardest watch of my life, and the music was very fitting too
the Van Halen to bread pipeline
i hope mad clown is watching, this is great poop fodder
I kept on being like, “Oh I can’t believe Vinny didn’t see that, it’s so obvious!” But then I realized that if I were in his shoes I would be even worse at this. All-in-all, I think he did pretty good.
"I don't have time to learn." -Vinny 2024
everyone's talking about the JMol blind but I just want to throw in that "A Greek-English Lexicon" is on the page for "Comparison of Ancient Greek dictionaries"; like two scrolls up and that woulda been that
The thumbnail not being JMOL is a crime against wisdom
Beware the Van Halen to bread pipeline.
Vinny basically did what i do every sunday morning after a nice cup of coffee and a hard, vigorous bong rip.
How did he not see Molecular modelling in Theoretical branch...
42:50 can we have a moment of silence for the 2,996 chat members Taylor banned
I can't wait for Vinny to make Wikipedia speedruns famous like he did with FnF and Infinite Craft and his world renowned snorting clip
I remember when people came up with this game in 4chan over 10 years ago lol. you had to click "random article" and find the certain evil European mustache man. You always found him in like 5 clicks and that was the whole joke.
Only Vincenzo could find a way for people to backseat on a prerecorded stream about 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon
Honestly not bad for a first few attempts at Wikipedia speedrunning, good job Vinny!
Ah yes, quite a notable work of modern Greek literature: A Greek-English Lexicon, published in 1843 by the Oxford University Press.
I can hear Vinny’s friends yelling at him for playing Wikipedia instead of Undertale
I did the salt spray test->DMOZ like this:
Salt spray test,Electroplating,Current density,Electromagnetism,Optics,Engineering,Software design,Communication protocol,Wireless network,Internet,Google Search,Search engine,AOL,DMOZ
"We need wars" - vinny vinesauce, 2024
starting off strong with Mario Paint music
this is possibly one of the videos of all time
When he said "having fun?" more than 50 minutes in I instantly looked up to go "yes vinny!" enthusiastically in real life
Vinny is like that guy that geo guesses places withing seconds, but with crunchy Wikipedia articlesv and crusty English.
The Mario Paint music really bringed it home here
15 minutes in. Blindness is actually killing me.
Cannot believe this, what a beautiful career shift for vinny and we’ll always be here for him ❤
Vinny really was at war with East Asia the whole time
Knowing vinny had the answer for Jmol at 11:18 but didn't get it until 23:25 hurts
*BELARUS MENTIONED*
These speed runs are a corrosion test of the mind.
The Greek-English Lexicon one was HARD! I ended up getting it in 767 seconds.
"Is Greece in Europe?"
I'm done. Oh god, he clicked on Asia
almost every chemical on wikipedia has a jsmol link... it's literally how people share molecular structures with each other!
52:10
on the edge of my seat the hole time thinking "melpert....."
I can almost hear the Gregory Brothers commentating over this wonderful solo act of Wiki War-ing
My computer's reall high end, it's got molecular graphics
vinny has never used wikipedia
next week, i hope we get a 3 hour video of vincent using an encyclopedia collection to gather research for a 12 page single space report on land wars in asia
from ISBN to Madonna in 2 clicks is CRAZY
Duuude this is the last thing I was expecting but I'm SO here for it!
Vinny that run changed my life
I wish he'd streamed this just so I could see the chat when he asked if Greece is in Europe lol
28:32 “…i saw it, dont worry” IM CRYING
I’m just watching for the music
Im not a bot who has big boobs, but I appreciate the content non the less
skill issue
just immediately watch that a bot grabs this comment, and inflate its like count. Those type of bots are really annoying.
Screaming
Pizza
Pasta
Put

In
A
I would watch more of this
never thought I would hear Nepal in a vinesauce video
Whenever I hear the Mario Paint music, I have to go rewatch [Vinesauce] Vinny - Best Sketches from Game & Wario
There should be a mode where it's just based on amount of links clicked.
Hey, can we get a playlist of the songs and versions of them.
I know a lot of the first ones were mario paint. I just cant seem to find what a bunch of the rest of them are
"Is Greece in Europe?"
Vinny, your English Degree is showing.
I would love more of this, and I'd understand if they're only prerecorded
BLINDSAUCE
This is one of those "scream at the TV"-type VODstreams, huh?
Binty why don't you also have a degree in chemistry? A responsible entertainer would have done a BRB and gotten one.
"This is a tough starting one."
Vin, _standard style_ was RIGHT THERE.
I really enjoyed this! I love seeing the way our brains network to conclusions, so it was fun playing the same prompts as Vinny and comparing our results.
Him panicking realizing he doesn't know where Greece is. Poor fella.
40:17 You were so close, it was "Greeklish", then "Comparison of Ancient Greek dictionaries", an there was the A Greek-English lexicon
Me screaming "WORDS" and shortly after vinny calling me out hahaha classic vinny and his fortune teller powers
Vinny just invented new form of tortue.
me yelling at vinny at @11:23
At least Vinny didn't choose an absolutely insane music choice to accompany this video of stress, as we see the word 5 pages before Vinny, oh wait...
In seriousness it's easier when we're not doing it, as the task causes you to become narrow focused.
