- Sander takes you into the shop of Bevo-Militaria and describes German mountain caps or Bergmütze from his private collection along with their matching T-shaped eagles. Furthermore he continues the video with M34 and M42 overseas caps and finishes with a small talk about M43 army caps.
Lovely video Sander!
Always strikes me as a very nice guy. Genuine and sincere.
Love the caps would collect them over helmets any day.
I’m not interested in an original. Don’t care about badges or insignia. I like the style and would like one for actual wear/use. Any recommendations for a good quality reproduction?
Very interesting video. Thank you for sharing.
How often do you come across an ss Gebirgsjäger field cap with single button on the front?
Hello! Was wondering if you was interested in some beltbuckles from norwegian colab party NS? ( tapper og tro - brave and faithfull )
Best regards Odin
Excellent presentation. I am amazed at the incredible variety of insignia; it seems that the Germans were more concerned with the look of their uniforms than with the production of weapons (I am joking, but not much... 😁😁😁)
So we will never see a good Bergmütze in your Shop i think. Very sorry about that. Thanks for Video
Indeed haha!
@@bevo-militariaoriginalww1w976 sorry to hear my grandfather was member of Gebirgsjäger in Norway and France i own some Pictures of him in Uniform but He cam Back with nothing so I want to buy one but nearly Impossible to get a good one. Then I saw your Video and thought what a f... You have so many unbelifibal. Best regards
Excellent informational video Sander. I note there are no variations on your table of an SS variation, particularly an SS mountain troop cap? Is that an intentional ommission?
It's simply something I have never encountered. These SS caps are extremely hard to find in untouched condition.
Where have all these German Soldiers gone?
All I have German Caps are repros......
Edelweiss ? I have got one......
What is the most popular caps? The general or above?
You have any submarine captains hat?
Wow.. what a great collection..
Awesome video..👍👍
great video and great hat explanations. great collection
Haben sie kopfhaube fuer Goering Luftwaffe?
Fantastic video, great info , thanks for passing on .
Looks like Afrika Corps
Was there Gebirgsjaegers in the Afrikakorps?!
Didn’t need to be in Africa for a Sun Bleached Cap , Italy , Aegean to name but a few areas
Gets pretty sunny up in the mountains!
@@martinashton5792 There was actually a Gebirgsjäger component in Africa!
@@KadeBerrier Yes I know Sonderverband 288
Great items , and information 👍
I like the silver bullion uniform patches! Thank you for educating us! Don Los Angeles California
Amazing sound
Nice dude 😁
Not so sure the insignia is original to the sun bleached Officer Cap , doesn’t match the wear to the cap , nice worn cap that said
I would love to visit your shop, but unfortunately I think I would end up divorced 😅😅😅
Always welcome. We also have a bed and a shower in the office if you need to stay longer haha.
Those wooden hat/cap formers aren't conservation safe for 80+ year old textile, wood is highly acidic and will transfer that acid and acidity to the delicate textile.
So, I'm curious then what would you use other than wood?
@@jasstemenaaaaaseewer767 A former made from LD45 Plastazote would work well.
Or some unbuffered tissue paper for textile.
Oak is acidic, it looks like these forms are made of pine. Pine needles are acidic when green, however pine wood itself is not acidic.
@@theo3053 not correct, no raw wood is inert.
That tunic is for a Hauptfeldwebel (Sergeant-Major) so must be quite a rare example.
Actually a Der Spiess with the rank of Feldwebel
@@bevo-militariaoriginalww1w976 Ah, of course, a title not a rank. Like British Army warrant officers.
I’ve got a nice m43 cap ss cap. It’s a good reproduction made by the same German company that made them in the war. Skull and eagle on cap. Bought from soldier of fortune in uk
Bellissimi.
nice caps there! great video
