I have worn this two days ago and already seeing some result. The only thing that annoys me is the pain(not too much) on my upper front teeth and the back side of my lower teeth in the first two days. @@dnegel9546 Sure. I had my two lower wisdom tooth removed as one of them is impacted. I decided to bring out the other one as well so they'll be proportioned. So even though I worn these elastics, I really have to removed the wisdom tooth still. The part where they're pulled out has already healed. And I'm back with elastics, 'again', as they're correcting my bite before removing my braces.
kate pellow Hi Kate, it worked so well, I've had mine in 5 months and had it removed yesterday and was fitted with metal braces. I did have some discomfort as my teeth were loose where the brace was fitted but I really wanted to avoid jaw surgery. Just remember your oral hygiene and please be very strict on wearing your elastic bands. Overall it's totally worth it and to see how much your teeth will shift is amazing, I don't have that puppy look anymore lol, that's what I call it, when your bottom lip protrudes more than your top, you will definitely find your profile aesthetically more pleasing but your bottom teeth will be pretty spaced apart, but that's nothing that braces can't handle in your second phase. I hope you are not in too much discomfort at the moment and if you are please remember this, it will be so worth it in the end, this has been my mantra and will be for the next 18 months, you will be so happy I promise 😀

This is what I thought getting braces will do but for me all it did was bend my bottom teeth inward.. my top teeth is straight, my bottom teeth is aligned but pushes very inward towards my mouth which makes it kinda crooked.. wish I knew about that otherwise I wouldn’t have wasted so much money.

I have the same problem too, that's why i have braces on right now and they put elastics in it to pull my lower teeth because it's bit bent outer to my lips. My dentist also told me that I have a skeletal class 3 along with bottom crossbite that would most likely need to be fixed through surgery. I did research and it seems that I could also have long standing tmj dislocation because my left tmj is in constant pain and twitches. But I'm going to a specialist for that. I'm an adult and I found and orthodontist that will do this. I have a crossbite with a functional shift and he's starting me out with this to help correct the shift while I'll be wearing a retainer on the top for about 6 months, and then braces for a year and a half after that. Don't be afraid to call and ask around about consultations for opinions about what would help. Consultations are usually free, and are included in the treatment plan cost if you decide to go ahead with it.

I got an expander for the top jaw and was in it for a few months, now I'm just in elastics for a while to correct the bite itself, but ill soon be in the final adjustments stage. Youll be told that you wont get near perfect results like surgery would give you, and it would take a while (im a year and a half in) but if you want surgery as a final option, it say try it.

Hey Sofie, you might wanna see a orthodontist or just go find some dental clinics that's near in your area. I have the same problem too, that's why i have braces on right now and they put elastics in it to pull my lower teeth because it's bit bent outer to my lips. And it's been 2months since I got them and it's working pretty well for me

I have this on for 3 weeks and my tongue hurts so much bcoz of the wire in the appliance. There’s a whole cut which stings and im not able to eat. If someone has a solution to it please help me.
The dentist took 2 my lower teeth to fix my underbite..
@Camilla Hubbard it worked. Took 4 years to bring the lower jaw back in. Need extra patience to bare the pain because it will leave a hole for few weeks.

Can anybody tell who has experience... I have the same problem.. But my lower jaw is exactly below the upper jaw and i have 2 highlighted teeth in my upper jaw which makes my smile nice.... And i don't wanna correct them... So is it possible to class 3 malloclusion without disturbing that 2 of them?

@@nitr0gen949 I had a "small underbite" a few years ago but every year it gets worse and worse. Don't put off this this .I'm in constant pain because of my tmj and teeth aches.. the look .doesn't really bother me because I have a beard but the damn pain... Anyways good luck!
@@yhwhrevength622 in my case the look is alright but could be better since its a small underbite, i have tmj but still no pain. have u been mewing while with ur underbite? could that be why it got worse? also what have u done to fix it, did u go to an orthodontist or something? im also trying to find the best solution for this, i dont want any extractions or anything that would damage my face in any way in order just to fix the "teeth"
@@nitr0gen949 hello. I went to a dentist and my constant pain in my teeth was determined to be a cavity that extends to two of my front teeth. My dentist also told me that I have a skeletal class 3 along with bottom crossbite that would most likely need to be fixed through surgery. I did research and it seems that I could also have long standing tmj dislocation because my left tmj is in constant pain and twitches. But I'm going to a specialist for that. Seems like triple jaw surgery is my only option.

they mostly put these at the end to correct your bite, first the teeth should be straight and it depends how bad your teeth are but after the bands it will take i guess 6 months im not sure tho :)

I’m 13, I have an underbite problem it’s kinda a genetic problem, I have braces too but they don’t seem to be helping, the orthodontist gave me this chin cup thing that I should wear Atleast 8 hours a day for a few years to stop my lower jaw from going forward or something, but I don’t see much result, what should I do?
You're still growing. Make sure you follow his instructions to a T to make sure everything goes as it's supposed to.
youre 13. or were. youre still in your growing phase. if youre a woman it wont stop until 17-18. man then itll stop around 20-22. hopefully it turned out well for u

I'm an adult and I found and orthodontist that will do this. I have a crossbite with a functional shift and he's starting me out with this to help correct the shift while I'll be wearing a retainer on the top for about 6 months, and then braces for a year and a half after that. Don't be afraid to call and ask around about consultations for opinions about what would help. Consultations are usually free, and are included in the treatment plan cost if you decide to go ahead with it.

@@sakhrnabil7 actually yes, im still in braces right now but ive improved so much, the ortho was even surprised. I got an expander for the top jaw and was in it for a few months, now I'm just in elastics for a while to correct the bite itself, but ill soon be in the final adjustments stage.
Youll be told that you wont get near perfect results like surgery would give you, and it would take a while (im a year and a half in) but if you want surgery as a final option, it say try it.

Edgy Grand’Mas at the start yes, and it's really annoying bc you have to wear it all the time and every time you try to open your mouth it will hurt, but you eventually get used to it
