We have stayed there before, its a one of a kind site, you can see where your pitch fees are being spent. Our pitch had a private gate at the rear which lead to a circular picnic area with our own picnic table. Nice detail, and this site is all about the details. Well done
Well it does seem very luxurious and well appointed, we are more usually found up to our axles in mud in a field with a tap in the corner - but you never know, we may give it a try for a change 👍
It's been one of our favourite sites. Stayed about 4yr ago treated ourselves and had the safari tent. Which also had TV sink cupboards orange America style fridge. Loved the orange loo rolls lol. Watched people who had booked log cabins which were other side of stream. As concierge even supply the trolleys to commute your belongings to the log cabins. Brilliant site. But quite expensive now. But nice for a special occasion. Thanks for a brill vlog

Like Martin said at the end the side of a Scottish Loch is more preferable but I guess it’s a nice treat. And I’ve never seen a toilet cassette wash 😂 oh how the other half live 🤣

Hi David, thanks for watching and engaging with us. It's a Garmin Avtex Tourer. It comes pre-programmed with the CMC sites and European sites. Helen is ex air crew navigator and won't tolerate poor sat navs, she really rates this one, as you can programme on coordinates as well as post codes. We have had it a couple of years and it's never failed us across 14 European Countries. Best wishes Martin

Guys, another excellent Vlog and super site review. Most definitely that site is extremely well equipped to cater for all needs. I agree with Martin - it looks like a lovely ‘special occasion’ type of site. However, if into photography (including drone photography) I’d opt for a more scenic camping location. Thanks very much for engaging with us , flying the drone in the Outer Hebrides was a real high point for us this year. We are off on a long tour of Europe after Christmas and just looking how best to comply with the EASA regs, bit of a nightmare now as they don’t recognise our qualifications post Brexit, it looks like taking a test to get a flyer ID on Luxembourg and an operator ID in France (first point of call) , and thinking of buying a Mini 2 to make things even easier and leave my drone at home. If you have any thoughts on this I’d welcome them. Thanks once again for watching Helen and Martin.
@@helenandmartinsTreks Guys, unfortunately I’m not sufficiently well enough travelled to comment on foreign drone laws. Hopefully that’ll change when our new Motorhome arrives early next year 😊. However, I do own the DJI Mini 2 and can say that it’s an excellent (and very capable) little travel drone. It doesn’t have all the ‘obstacle avoidance’ bells & whistles but it delivers great footage (photos and video). I’d definitely recommend it if you’re wanting to keep weight and price down, whilst still needing to capture good footage 👍🏽 I’ll continue to follow your uploads with keen interest 👏🏽
That's an interesting question Ian, It's dearer than most sites but mid week it's better rated. It's certainly a good special occasion place , expensive maybe but real quality and the service level from the staff is unprecedented in this sector. Definitely a place to win bonus points domestically if you know what I mean. We'll certainly be back. Hope that helps. Helen and Martin.
That’s the great thing about the world , opinions can vary. The gradings are very specific to five categories and we try to be consistent . We have enjoyed wild park ups, off grid and all variations of overnight locations all over Europe , each has its own merits and people want different things at different moments in space and time with age , levels of infirmity as well as different occasions.
