OH MY GOD YOU ARE THE FIRST ONE THAT MENTIONED THAT FREAKING VENDONG MACHINE !!!! I got pretty much infinite money through the silver and gold bars so this can get me several thousands of acid a week
Someone mentioned that those might be player owned so that might be server specific. I forgot you could put things on that truck bed and someone could technically park that there. Idk if they did its been there on my server for days and the product restocked so idk let me know if it's on your server as well
@@FringePatriotGaming I’ll check later. That seemed way too clean to be player owned tbh and I just read another post about these online. I’ll check later;)
"Sulfur Chemist" is also a way to get Acid! I got that Memetic spec at lvl 25. It does so I can craft 1 acid for 5 Sulfur and 50 Energy Links! Takes 8 Hs to make 100 at Synthesis Bench! :-D
I have one called Sulfer Chemist, It allows me to craft acid using Sulfer and energy link at a synthesis bench. Debating on getting that or Generator: Electrical Expert.
There is is specialisation called Sulphur alchemy that turns sulphur into acid.. i think it unlocks in 5th slot or so.. i havent had my luck on it though
I'm not sure if every specialization level has the same things for everyone. If they do I should have read more carefully when picking but I'm certain when I was picking them all I was looking for anything acid or precious ore related. I still could have missed it though
I farmed one of the silios (the one with the rgb tower boss. I'd get around 35 acid a run which got me through the tier and gave me a bunch of other stuff too. Quick once you get a method going.
I used this method, had four barrels and still got like maybe 60 every 24 hours, its way to slow. I think getting Acid is unbalanced in the game, especially when you get to lvl 50. They just added it as a potential item from Sprout loot box, x200 acid, x20 barreled fuel or x67 starsource, so will focus on farming sprouts
Only use case I see for stardust right now is calibrating weapons and gear which is just one thing compared to acid being needed to craft everything. I've also calibrated at least a dozen pieces of gear so far and still have 2k left over for acid. You are right though once I'm out of stardust they are both rescources that are a pain to grind out. The sulfur to acid specialization is one to keep an eye out for as well but I think specializations are rng
too bad i already did that haha, but i got friend of mine put their base at polluted water and myself at desert area near tungsten and aluminium ore. we decided to share and trade our acid and those ores
I would normally say this is true, but I have both the stardust into acid and oil into stardust specializations. So i can replenish my stardust very easily.
Theres also a perk that allows you to craft acid from Sulphur and energy links.. takes a long time.. but works to passively farm. Im gonna give the other methods here a shot too... thanks!
Yeah someone said that takes forever. The perk with stardust stuff is 1.5 hours for 99 acid which is a long time as well. + stardust has a lot more use cases in late game crafting other than calibrating gear so it's a give and take. Energy sounds easier to farm making that probably one of the best methods for acid
@@FringePatriotGaming It DOES take a long time.. like 8 hrs for 99 acid.. but I just keep a synth machine running it all the time. Ive got tons of Sulphur and an energy link farm going so its almost no cost to just let it run. Your other methods are good too, gonna try them all to see which delivers more for less (relatively) so I'll be better set on the next go around LOL.
A friend is doing this and im supplying all sulfur and money.. its pretty quick if you got 5+ machines.. our Hive will setup his base as the Acid Base using breaking bad methodology. We got a guy who can put up 8 solar panels for 32w each 256w total pew and fairly cheap. Today we might min max his base so all power goes into acid production.

water pump must be in a polluted zone but on land not on the water, and as high as you can (alt+mouse wheel), that way you get only polluted water and not dirty water.

Good question. I'm new with brewing I assumed it was put ingredients in get ingredients out, no recipe. So it would be unsure acid in mid row pure water on top row for an acid output in bottom row
Theres a specialization where you can use the systhesis bench to craft acid with something+energy link. I'll update this comment when i get to play later :D EDIT : Its called Sulfur Chemist : uses 5 sulfur + 50 Energy Link = 1 acid/300sec
I don't know the name of the specialization, but currently it costs 5 sulfur + 50 link energy for ~5 minute craft of 1 acid. In the beta there was no link energy cost, so it was nerfed. But you can setup a vending machine and sell acid for ~100 link energy which would make this profitable and it scales well with advanced synthesis benches as they double craft and are very low base power usage.
@@SHMlKE Unfortunatly, you cannot automate the impure acid to the barrel. The slot where it goes is the slot for the different materials (corn, wheat etc). The other one is pure water only thats why it can be routed to the barrel. Also you can add as many impure acid to the barrel as many you want. I have 3 barrels with 500+ impure acid each and all 4 slots for pure water are always at 100.
Good question. Stardust source is just a resource I haven't used much so I have a lot of it from general play. I will look into where to grind it out in mass
What i do is i have a hive member with a stardust water pump, which uses a battery and some solar power to turn the batteries into 60 stardust, of which i can, using this method, turn stardust into acid and repeat the whole thing to have infinite acid
Correction: did some checking, with the acid to stardust conversion rate, turning acid to batteries and then stardust, then to acid again is a huge waste of resources unless you desperately need one of the two
@@dokutah2480 There is also a perk that lets you make stardust using mixed fuel and stardust ore. Oil to mixed fuel, fuel into stardust source. Wasting 0 acid.
