    This is dead on. And people need to recognize that as humans, we all still have a choice of who to marry and who not to marry. I’m remarried (almost 2 years!!) and came with two kids. My now husband and I have been through hell. Losing a baby, facing temptations, etc. But here we are with our first child, and we are moving on. We both were broken and hurt but we put GOD first. Makes a difference.

    From the get go this guy threw me off when he said “why God tricks us into falling in love with someone...” God doesn’t trick anyone, that’s deception. The only one who tricks people is Satan. God leads people into certain things, but NEVER tricks.
    Also, when He talks about God making a “helper” for Adam, the word of origin he is talking about is èzer, which means to help or aid. It does not have anything to do with a sense of making up for what’s lacking as he claims. It means help in the sense of giving aid to Adam, which makes sense since it was his responsibility to dress and keep Eden. For him to do that alone without any help/companionship would’ve probably been too much for him to bear.
    Also, I agree that compatibility does have to do with beliefs, character, and what not, but there does have to be similarities. Look at the friends people have. They are friends with people who like doing the same things as them, and the same applies in a marriage (many times people marry their best friend). If there aren’t similarities between the two, they won’t want to hang out or spend time together and grow closer to each other. If one person likes basketball and only wants to spend time doing anything related to that, why would the other person who hates it but likes knitting want to do that? Beliefs and values are the most important thing, but similar interests in hobbies, food, etc. do matter and play a role.
    He said God gives us a spouse to help us go back to our pasts to heal us, and that’s when I had to stop listening to Him. Healing comes from God and God alone, not our spouses. We don’t need other people in our lives to help us heal or get past some brokenness we had. All we need is to cast our pain and burdens on the Lord, and He will take care of them. If we’re truly believers in Christ, then He will give us victory over these things if we ask Him. Why would we go back to our pasts to address something we should already have victory over through the cross? And if we don’t have it, we didn’t ask God for it. And if we didn’t ask God, why would we seek first our spouses? It all just doesn’t make sense or line up with what’s true.
    I’ll admit he does have some good points in what he says, but there’s already too many false things to keep listening on... Don’t just accept anything you hear from people, even if they are in pastor positions. Always test everything to check its validity. God bless!

    • @aryeh24
      @aryeh24 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@LivingForYahuah You shouldn't confuse a challenge to your thoughts with someone being (of) negative (spirit). It is not the same.
      So your statement 'too much to bear' was solely meant with respect to man being alone in the sense of being lonely, not regarding the size (and nature - be fruitful...) of his task?

    Millions get legally married and never loved the other person. They legally marry out of convenience or desperation or slight mental illness. My ex is my overall 5th choice. Really tied for 5th. But the difference between 1st or 2nd choice and 5th are millions of light years from each other. Wish Jimmy Evans would discuss this, if he is even aware of it.

He has lived with his wounds longer than he has known you and they are well-known to him. If he believes he needs to heal from that before he is fit for marriage then agree with him because every action, word and relation that follows will be colored with his belief. If you can't walk with him with a buffer of distance until he is healed how then will you do so when you are daily in each other's faces being directly and immediately affected by the choices and actions of your partner? Marriage will bring sufficient challenges without packing a suitcase full to bring along

Pray for your marriage, especially your spouse. They aren't praying, so maybe you need to pray for them, on their behalf. Keep the faith, I will pray for you. God bless you. Ask God to rebuke the destroyer of marriages, and to end adultery in your marriage. Ask God to keep adulterous people and situations away from your spouse and your marriage. Keep praying that every day until God brings what you are asking for.

    I get a little bit prickled when he says ‘she heals me, I healed her’... God does that, we don’t. We can’t. God uses us, but HE does the work. That ‘we heal each other’ can be misconstrued in some people’s minds that we can do the work. That we must do the work. The fact is, the Holy Spirit works... So can I assume that God puts people in our lives who will spiritually and psychologically torture us , give us grief and drama and otherwise cause us pain...no thanks...I'll stay single.

    Brothers and sisters please be aware of the false teachers which are many in this last generation, let us not have itching ears seeking the voice of man but come unto the Lord and seek his truth through his holy word and prayer. (I include myself in this because it is tempting to believe everything that sounds similar to the word of God to be true). Listen to the Holy Spirit and be ye not deceived. I say this because I too was listening to this man and he sounds like a true man of God until he did this: At approximately 5:26 into the video as he references Eve listening to God, he throws up the devils horn clearly and blatantly. (I did not watch anymore after this because that was a clear sign that this is worldly nonsense). He is acknowledging the god he serves. As God matures me spiritually I see everyday people who unconsciously possess the spirit of the Antichrist just by their natural gestures, many of them use the devil horns or 3 6’s when speaking because they have already been wired to accept him. I pray we all ask our Father for wisdom and discerning spirits so we can flee from the false teachings that gives us false comfort which can only be found through Jesus Christ himself.

      Oh please.
      You're wrong. It doesn't even talk about Eve listening to God.
      What's wrong with what he is saying? Nothing. You are slandering this man

    Most women are looking for weakness in a Man and when she finds it she loses all respect for him. She picks at that wound until she destroys him or pushes him away

      A weak man is sooo unattractive! If a woman has done this to you, that comes from a selfish mean heart.😢
