I have a few ideas P-47 close air support (ground realistic) B-17 bomber formation. battle of berlin (vehicle suggestions: IS-2, T-34-85, Tiger II, Tiger I E) tokyo fire bombing with B-25, cold war era clash. night bombing raid vietnam war. Helicopter assault. Dogfight over a tank battle. ( these are just some ideas, if you want i have more.)
I love how all the P-51s pulled off for the single fighter, and then you realized it was just one- and there was more on the way. Honest reenactment of cocky fighter squadrons loll
I play since 2014 and back then we used to have events that were like this...search on TH-cam " War Thunder Flight of the Swallows " It was an War Thunder Event where the Germans would spawn with 262's ( if you had the 262 unlocked of course ) and the Americans with P-51's to scort a B-17 formation that was going to attack the airfield. Man it was fun !
Search for videos of the event Guardian Angel. Same thing but the Germans would get 109's, 190's etc. I really don't know why they stopped those events, they were immersive.

Great video Vadact, been playing War Thunder for 2 years and although the grind is a pain its a joy to play sometimes and the P51 h should have been used to escort and the 109 should have been the k4 or an me262 but the cannons would be devestating! Please play more War Thunder!
Me being a b-17 bomber pilot in war Thunder was in utter shock how your tail didn’t just pop off after 2 shots hit u but you took like 200000 rounds and stayed in one piece
This is why the red tails sat above the bombers and went for the fighters instead of flying full formation with the bombers 😂. You can’t attack something behind and above you.
Your fighters kept leaving the bombers.. Remember what made the Tuskegee grp so good "They Never left the Bombers". Also Bombers getting too far apart, you can't mass fire on an attacker or cover for each other all spread out. Looked fun though :).
you never want the escort to break off far so when more bf109 come back in the p51s can stick with you so you dont die becasue its more of a casualty if you die and not th p51
They are also beeing attacked by bf 109s and I'm pretty sure b29s were only used in the pacific theater, but if they were b17s both the escort and the enemies would make much more sense, good video tho
P51s did occasionally show up in the Pacific theatre and escort B29s. However, it was relatively rare as B29's would cruise above the service ceiling of Japanese aircraft to and from their targets.
It's cool how the Germans actually followed their historical tactics. The bf109s were capable of out pacing and out climbing the p51s so they would swoop on from above and speed of (hopefully with a kill) before the p51s could even do anything to help, over time the Americans instead just doubled down on how many bombers they had trying to use the sheer number of targets, and ofcourse gunners on those for protection instead

Altitude is your friend in the B-29. Idk their service ceiling in game, but they could fly up to over 31,000 feet. You have no jet stream to mess with in-game, so the enemy fighters might have problems working at that height.
I think i have an actual tip for more accuracy, and it is drop the bombs a little early so u have more chance to hit the fortress, but so far your skills alone makes me want to play with you, i am downloading war thunder on steam already and cant wait to be in one of ur videos. I feel like if i play with u guys i will be a little too far ahead because i usually go for the speed as a bomber but i will just choose the mustang instead.
Fun fact about the b29: by 1945, the deaths were higher in training rather than actual combat, and also it cost 1.1 billion more dollars than the Manhattan Project Mp cost was 1.9b B29 cost was 3.0b

It's similar to the Moscow Raid Timeline 10:01AM - The first 10 B-62 Bombers take off 11:09AM-1:05PM - all 700 B-62 Bombers form up, Escort Squadrons of SBBT-85 Fighters Form up, and start to fly towards Moscow WIP But I think I made my point clear
P51's chased, thats a nono, point of escort is to drive off the attack on the bombers not chase for the kill then as you seen the formation is broken and bombers defenseless. But that being said the bombers should have reformed with the escort after first attack. Great watch bro, life of a bomber guy in this game is a bitch.

Because the one that shoot him is bf 109 E1 variant. Before f4 variant, bf109 really do have unreliable bullet or not having an auto cannon

I dont think p51’s would escort b-29’s since they were more common in the European theatre as opposed to the Pacific theatre
