Err... well it is a VERY small scale. But for what it is, it's made very well compared to other offerings.
Way over priced for what you get. $30 for a 1/87 kit. You can buy a 1/35 kit of a T-34/85 for $30. I guess it is a very small market.
I think you looked up the completed and painted model pricing. Not the unassembled kit (as this one is). That explains the price.
