Oh no, the last part just reminded me of my first alpha tek cave experience.
So many resets, it took me 14 hour from start to finish, and when I was finally able to go to bed as soon as I fell asleep I was beck in the cave.
And this was back in AsE.

I love how you tell the story. It's serious and adventurous, but in a casual manner. Like a friend telling me their play through while we hang out in discord.
And that is very charming
One trap that I've found works for most land creatures in ASA is to have 4 stone gates, and 1 metal billboard. Place the 4 gates in a square, close two opposing doors keeping the other two open. Get a dino to chase you through the door and close the second door as you go through it. Run around and close the first door, and it is trapped. Now place the billboard in front of one of the doors, open that door and tranq out the creature. I've used it on pretty much every aggressive land creature I've tamed and it works well.
The tek cave is honestly a nightmare. Gamma run, tried the conga line approach and my dinos would despawn in the cave every time i exited to get another group >.< I got fed up with it, cryoed my tames and let them out at the spot where you can, beat the boss fine. alpha run. this was not fun. I cleared the cave to the cryo spot with my carcha, let out my tames, beat the boss. my game crashes during ascension scene.... i lost 5 days.... every thing from bosses basically. i had to use commands to give myself the ascension cause i beat that damn boss as far as i'm concerned lol. I'm glad you didn't have that rough of luck. Nice video tho! Was well done and enjoyable! :D
I raged alot cause of that cave and its issues
The cave is ridiculous. I’ve seen so many videos of people falling through the mesh which I had happen too. Even the hard ice cave I almost lost my best Argie that fell through the mesh outside the cave, I had to use ghost mode to get it back

Yo, I just wanna tell you bro freaking ASA drops are crazy. One time I was taming a raptor and I found a Mastercraft raptor saddle right before I tamed it.
For me, when I play ASA, the only mod I'll put on is Custom Dino Levels. (All it does is Increase wild level effeciency like Ragnarok), I can't deal with the Islands levels so even when I'm playing completely vanilla, I'll put that on 100% of the time! I think that's fine to put on compared to any other QOL mod.
All the story maps have more lower levels
Anyone who’s mad that he “cheesed” IN ANY WAY is actually big trippin. It’s max difficulty ark with NO respawns. Y’all mad he cheesed some items? People who are upset wouldn’t last 5 days in a hardcore ASA server even if they used every advantage and cheated from day one.
it's always funny to see people do a 100 day video and leave damage numbers on so you can see their lv 50 parasaur so 2000 damage

Had taming on 3x for this and breading i cant remember what i had it since they changed how single player breading works mid way recording this which meant i had to fix it

I’m on day 15-16 atm currently farming to get kibble to tame faster, finishing my base and I have a good amount of rexes just need to find myself a lvl 150 female and male Rex to tame to get high lvl I’ve also got 2 male 250 allosaurus’s that I tamed at 150 might make a good team for that for the insect boss I’m gonna try and find a lvl 150 male and female megatherium to make an army of them as they are the best to take out the insect boss cause they get a damage buff when killing insects as the boss spawns in insects so will be a peace of cake

@@Veno lol ended up dying yesterday was leveling up my Meg tame wasn’t paying attention as I was trying to kill a lvl 20 Meg alpha and I died so had to start over

How come I never find anything higher than 120? Seriously. All youtubers say: Oh, I found this maxed out creature lol. I don't get it. It's so frustrating.
The default difficulty for the Island maxes them out at 120. You have to manually change the difficulty setting to get the cap to 150. (You'll know if you succeeded if, after a dino wipe, everything has a level in increments of 5.) This is to make the Island the easiest map for beginners - which is also why the levels are weighted to spawn at lower values more often.
Where do I change this setting? That would be great if you showed me. Also, I thought the max level was 150. @@wulvve
And then there's my luck, I've found 6 max level 150 creatures... but all were Dilos.... =(

how are you guys caving in asa, my game prefers to crash anytime I get near an artifact, the last straw was when i lost my best rex while fighting 10 polar bears and all my good gear then lost two kits trying to get it back

didnt think relogging was going to save me and since i had finished that day almost twice before i left it in since i wasnt going to hide what happened.

Yall must be like 12, if you try playing this game legit even today it screws you over more than you win. Dinos are getting stuck or lost in mesh, and the game crashes and lags or straight up does not work at times.
Not everyone has all day everyday to constantly regather items the game screws you out of. Especially tames.

Always makes me laugh when someone complains about cheating on this game. Absolutely no one plays on default settings hence everyone cheats on this game!
I stoped watching as soon as you cheated on day 20. Dont lie and dont cheat mate its not right if you have to start again then do it.

Yes, it was a bit cheesy but he could have been like every other TH-camr and just not put it in the video at all. We wouldn't know the difference. I personally commend him for his honesty.
He didn’t really cheat he just logged out and logged back in that’s not cheating that thinking out side of the box

He didn’t really cheat. He just used a pre-existing game mechanic to his advantage. It’s not like he used an admin command or creative mode.
