When he left, it didn't really hit me until just recently. Perhaps it was the fact that at the time, I had only seen him in The Bird Cage and Aladdin. But after I saw a few more films he starred in, I began to understand how amazing he was before he was gone.

He was saying that just because the parents don't love each other anymore "doesn't mean that they don't love you." Not my favorite message but that's what the movie is about. I've been a musician all my life, and i have no idea where you would even begin with a masterpiece ike this. I pick up a guitar i instantly know what to do, but with this, it's like some one pouring 25 jigsaws all mixed togther on your lap and telling you to make sense of it. This is proper genius.

God I truly miss Robin, after watching the documentary and hearing from his widow about how much he let things get to him. It's just super sad to see someone I always saw as a genuinely happy person only to find out that he had the same anxiety and neurotic behavior many of us struggle with. I can't imagine being so famous and feeling like you have to live up to some standard, it must have ate at him so much. This song is so beautiful.

There’s two pieces of video editing here that hit really hard. Sally Field’s expression first at 1:05, then at 3:40 mirror how we all feel at that exact moment. Robin truly was magical.
Really miss that guy. I don't think we'll ever see another master of craft like him again. I really like how diverse the sounds are in this one really showcasing just how wide of a range Robin's talent was. 3 years later and it sounds just as fantastic.
I watched this movie as a kid, and after the credits rolled I was going to go tell my mom how great it was. I was running into the living room but then I realized my mom was watching a documentary on Robin Williams's life and it got to the part where they were announcing his death on the news. Needless to say, I cried my self to sleep that night. He was such a good man. R.I.P to a legend!

Pogo, you're probably not gonna see this, but I just stumbled upon this video after last watching it over 2 and 1/2 years ago when I was in quite a memorable time in my life. To be honest I was afraid of rewatching this video because of the intense nostalgia it would trigger, but I decided it was time. I barely remembered any of the specific parts in there but as soon as it started I remembered every single part again, along with quite a few great memories. I'm currently basking in the nostalgia in the best way possible. Thanks for creating a song in the soundtrack to my life bro.

I’ve been watching pogo since I was like 7 and a half I’m 13 now. Pogo’s music is so great and this makes me smile as my parents and I used to watch this movie a lot. The song that made me find Pogo’s channel is Bangarang and I’m glad that I listened to it, though my sister thought I was being annoying when I was showing her it, she started to like his music after awhile and my moms does too. I know you said in another video you didn't like auto-tune and changing the actual sound of the characters voices so I'm curious how you get it to sound so good. Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks, Chris. I do use Melodyne, but I try to preserve as many imperfections as possible. I treat individual syllables with Audition using Fabfilter Pro-Q, because film dialogue is usually recorded with lapel mics or overhead cardioid mics which make voices sound nasal, throaty and boomy. I then compress the volume of the vocal track and apply just a little bit nicotine -- sorry, couldn't help myself -- just a little bit of stereo delay and reverb using VintageVerb. That's pretty much it.

Pogo you may never read this comment, but I have enjoyed your content for the past 10 years now, and your videos just give me this nostalgic-feeling that I just can't put my finger on. No other artist does this for me. The work you put out is always on point and such high quality; and that's what an actual artist should do. Listening to these makes my anxiety and stress just fold and I'm really not a crying-type person, but it just makes all my emotions into a ball and just let's go. Now I'm not too fairly sure that you take any requests, but if one of my favorite cartoon films was made into a remix like this, it would literally make my year. Aristocats. Today marks the 8th YEAR DEATH Anniversary of ONE OF MY TOP #14 fav actors of ALL-TIME Robin Williams 😭 I miss him every single day and I wish he’s still alive. I’m going to watch the movie “Hook” later on today to remember him, which is my tradition 🌹 I literally still cannot believe it’s been 8 years since he died. I’m still sad/devastated that he died/no longer on this Earth 💔💔💔 Time flew by fast. I feel like it was yesterday. I remember the day Robin Williams died on 8/11/14- Monday... I was home alone watching Season 5 or 6 of the “Doctor Who” telly-show at 12:00pm whilst me Mum was working. I DID NOT know about Robin Williams’ death till that evening, which broke me into billion of pieces and I couldn’t stop crying 😭😭😭💔💔💔 I wish he was still alive (Happy/himself)/healthy (No health problems or Lewy body disease)/no struggling with anything and ALOT more things. Robin Williams didn’t deserve to die… Why does the good ones always have to die? 😭😭😭 He deserved to live a INFINITE life and see his family grow (Spend valuable time with them)/become a Grandpa/experience more life moments and other countless things. I wish I could’ve been there for him (Like a WHAT-IF SCENARIO: I was born in a different year/was similar age to him) during his darkest/low points in his life and saved him from committing suicide aswell as more 🙂 WHEN TIME-TRAVEL EXISTS in the future… I’m going back into time to SAVE Robin Williams from committing suicide on 8/11/14- Monday by getting him ALL the help (He 100% absolutely needs)/support him/be mates with him/be there for him/tell doctors that he has Lewy body disease and ALOT more stuff! 🙂 It is going to happen. Really miss that guy. I don't think we'll ever see another master of craft like him again. I really like how diverse the sounds are in this one really showcasing just how wide of a range Robin's talent was. 3 years later and it sounds just as fantastic.
I watched this movie as a kid, and after the credits rolled I was going to go tell my mom how great it was. I was running into the living room but then I realized my mom was watching a documentary on Robin Williams's life and it got to the part where they were announcing his death on the news. Needless to say, I cried my self to sleep that night. He was such a good man. R.I.P to a legend!

Pogo, you're probably not gonna see this, but I just stumbled upon this video after last watching it over 2 and 1/2 years ago when I was in quite a memorable time in my life. To be honest I was afraid of rewatching this video because of the intense nostalgia it would trigger, but I decided it was time. I barely remembered any of the specific parts in there but as soon as it started I remembered every single part again, along with quite a few great memories. I'm currently basking in the nostalgia in the best way possible. Thanks for creating a song in the soundtrack to my life bro.

I’ve been watching pogo since I was like 7 and a half I’m 13 now. Pogo’s music is so great and this makes me smile as my parents and I used to watch this movie a lot. The song that made me find Pogo’s channel is Bangarang and I’m glad that I listened to it, though my sister thought I was being annoying when I was showing her it, she started to like his music after awhile and my moms does too.

Abyssal There were three Pogo songs from The Best 404 Page Ever that got me to to look up Pogo’s channel, subscribe, and ring the bell: Alice, Zoo Zoo, & Jaaam. Loved them all, and I haven’t looked back since.

Another banger in the books! If you happen to see this, can I ask what kind of effects/processing you use on vocals to get them to sound so good with your songs? I know you said in another video you didn't like auto-tune and changing the actual sound of the characters voices so I'm curious how you get it to sound so good. Keep up the awesome work!

I do use Melodyne, but I try to preserve as many imperfections as possible. I treat individual syllables with Audition using Fabfilter Pro-Q, because film dialogue is usually recorded with lapel mics or overhead cardioid mics which make voices sound nasal, throaty and boomy. I then compress the volume of the vocal track and apply just a little bit nicotine -- sorry, couldn't help myself -- just a little bit of stereo delay and reverb using VintageVerb. That's pretty much it.

Pogo you may never read this comment, but I have enjoyed your content for the past 10 years now, and your videos just give me this nostalgic-feeling that I just can't put my finger on. No other artist does this for me. The work you put out is always on point and such high quality; and that's what an actual artist should do. Listening to these makes my anxiety and stress just fold and I'm really not a crying-type person, but it just makes all my emotions into a ball and just let's go.
Now I'm not too fairly sure that you take any requests, but if one of my favorite cartoon films was made into a remix like this, it would literally make my year. Aristocats. I used to watch this with my grandparents back many years ago, and since they both have passed, it would make such an effect on my perspective of the film.

Today marks the 8th YEAR DEATH Anniversary of ONE OF MY TOP #14 fav actors of ALL-TIME Robin Williams 😭 I miss him every single day and I wish he’s still alive. I’m going to watch the movie “Hook” later on today to remember him, which is my tradition 🌹 I literally still cannot believe it’s been 8 years since he died. I’m still sad/devastated that he died/no longer on this Earth 💔💔💔 Time flew by fast. I feel like it was yesterday. I remember the day Robin Williams died on 8/11/14- Monday... I was home alone watching Season 5 or 6 of the “Doctor Who” telly-show at 12:00pm whilst me Mum was working. I DID NOT know about Robin Williams’ death till that evening, which broke me into billion of pieces and I couldn’t stop crying 😭😭😭💔💔💔 I wish he was still alive (Happy/himself)/healthy (No health problems or Lewy body disease)/no struggling with anything and ALOT more things. Robin Williams didn’t deserve to die… Why does the good ones always have to die? 😭😭😭 He deserved to live a INFINITE life and see his family grow (Spend valuable time with them)/become a Grandpa/experience more life moments and other countless things. I wish I could’ve been there for him (Like a WHAT-IF SCENARIO: I was born in a different year/was similar age to him) during his darkest/low points in his life and saved him from committing suicide aswell as more 🙂 WHEN TIME-TRAVEL EXISTS in the future… I’m going back into time to SAVE Robin Williams from committing suicide on 8/11/14- Monday by getting him ALL the help (He 100% absolutely needs)/support him/be mates with him/be there for him/tell doctors that he has Lewy body disease and ALOT more stuff! 🙂 It is going to happen. The world is still a much sadder/different place without Robin Williams 😭😭😭 I wish he was still alive so he can be surrounded with his family/mates and can star in more movies aswell as other reasons 💔 I miss him every single day that it literally hurts me.
