Main vocalists during Hellevator recording said that they can’t reach the notes, too high, and then Bangchan knowing Han well gave parts to him That’s why Bangchan and all members call him Ace and cheat key, cause he is great in everything During Kingdom by the way he shocked even big seniors like Btob and Changmin of Tvxq with his singing and vocal range. He sang I’ll be your man ,cover of Btob song, which is VERY VERY HARD to sing even for main vocalists ,but he sang it perfectly. But Seungmin and Bang Chan can go quite high as well. After their main vocal left it was actually Han who got most of the high notes when they re-recorded their songs with 8 members.
Skz are known for having really difficult songs when it comes to high notes! Their predebut song Hellevator is in a female key and they ignored JYP when he told them to make it lower and then made their debut song EVEN HIGHER kinda to spite him! And the choreo for both is extremely difficult yet they always sing live

You know the thing about Seungmin is that he just opened my eyes that someone's voice range could change by training a lot. He's very diligent. He has this diary where he write about his progress and some people actually asked if had any special class or something because he improved a lot. And yes, the one who did that rap was Felix, who did not participate in the choreo because he was taking it easy due to a problem with his back (he has a herniated disc). I saw that you were surprised by the fact that Changbin, who usually does rap parts, sang. Well, you will find that everyone does everything very well hahaha Changbin's vocals are sooo beautiful. watching you discover skz is so fun, i was in this same place 6 months ago, so you're so relatable (my bias is lee know btw) and those covers, i love them so much even if i don't know much about exo. and i can't wait for you to discover them one by one. many people recommend you lots of songs to see, but for individual meeting, i recommend watching 1 kids room they did at the beginning of 2020 if i'm not wrong. there is one episode for every member and you have one member talk about himself and at the same time other members talk about him so it's nice dive into their characters ♥

I am not a big fan of covers and remixes, but SKZ are pretty good at it. I also love their EXO covers! I wish collaborations were a more common thing in k-pop! As some people pointed out, there is also a cover of Exo's Wolf by Mayfly (Stray Kids + ATEEZ + BTOB) during the Kingdom show. It is a dance cover, the song itself is prerecorded pre-recorded. Only Lee Know, Felix and I.N participate in it. Other SKZ members were taking part in other performances (Changbin, Han and Bang Chan in a rap performance, song is called "playing with colors" or "playing with paint") and Seungmin in a singing performance (song "love poem"). SKZ are known as a rap heavy group, but they are good at singing too, many don't expect that from them. Chan likes showing us his abs and we are here for it :) Looking forward for your reactions to individual members next week!

I have to recomend it cause it´s so amazing. In Kingdom Legendary war, Ateez(San, Wooyoung, Seonghwa, Yeosang, Yunho), BTOB (Peniel) and Stray Kids (Lee Know, Felix, I.N) create a dance unit where they perform Wolf from Exo. You should check it out, i only knew about Stray kids but the other groups were amazing, and together they made a legendary performance. Love your reactions.
Ya I don’t know about “technical.” Baekhyun said his was a “natural” voice, meaning he didn’t “create” it, he just had his technique from the get go (at first thought it was just a given that everyone had it)…same as me. I also sang in a symphony orchestra for many years after being invited to audition with that same “natural” voice. He mentioned the same thing I always struggle with in more “Pop”y stuff. All that vibrato that comes out at the end…it’s actually learning to shut it off is the trick. Very difficult for a non technically trained singer so I don’t split hairs. I’m always happy to accept however each one feels most comfortable performing it. Props to both of them 👏
for vocals i would recommend First Take's Slump and Scars (both are japanese songs) it is show where the artists will sing live in one take only, so if the artist make mistakes or anything then it will be uploaded as it is in the channel. skz is the first kpop group to sing there it was amazing.
Hyunjin did a short dance cover of Mmmh by kai actually it was like a live idk if you can find the full one so you can also watch clips of it. It was really nice. He just did the main part tho cuz stays wanted him to do it so he learned it and did it

They presented the cover of Call me baby on the Weekly Idol show if you want to see another version. And yes, the one who did that rap was Felix, who did not participate in the choreo because he was taking it easy due to a problem with his back (he has a herniated disc).
I saw that you were surprised by the fact that Changbin, who usually does rap parts, sang. Well, you will find that everyone does everything very well hahaha Changbin's vocals are sooo beautiful. You should see his performance of "Tomorrow" on the show "Masked singer".

watching you discover skz is so fun, i was in this same place 6 months ago, so you're so relatable (my bias is lee know btw) and those covers, i love them so much even if i don't know much about exo. and i can't wait for you to discover them one by one. many people recommend you lots of songs to see, but for individual meeting, i recommend watching 1 kids room they did at the beginning of 2020 if i'm not wrong. there is one episode for every member and you have one member talk about himself and at the same time other members talk about him so it's nice dive into their characters ♥

As some people pointed out, there is also a cover of Exo's Wolf by Mayfly (Stray Kids + ATEEZ + BTOB) during the Kingdom show. It is a dance cover, the song itself is prerecorded pre-recorded. Only Lee Know, Felix and I.N participate in it. Other SKZ members were taking part in other performances (Changbin, Han and Bang Chan in a rap performance, song is called "playing with colors" or "playing with paint") and Seungmin in a singing performance (song "love poem").
SKZ are known as a rap heavy group, but they are good at singing too, many don't expect that from them.
Chan likes showing us his abs and we are here for it :)

I have to recomend it cause it´s so amazing. In Kingdom Legendary war, Ateez(San, Wooyoung, Seonghwa, Yeosang, Yunho), BTOB (Peniel) and Stray Kids (Lee Know, Felix, I.N) create a dance unit where they perform Wolf from Exo. You should check it out, i only knew about Stray kids but the other groups were amazing, and together they made a legendary performance.

Ya I don’t know about “technical.” Baekhyun said his was a “natural” voice, meaning he didn’t “create” it, he just had his technique from the get go (at first thought it was just a given that everyone had it)…same as me. I also sang in a symphony orchestra for many years after being invited to audition with that same “natural” voice. He mentioned the same thing I always struggle with in more “Pop”y stuff. All that vibrato that comes out at the end…it’s actually learning to shut it off is the trick. Very difficult for a non technically trained singer so I don’t split hairs. I’m always happy to accept however each one feels most comfortable performing it. Props to both of them 👏
for vocals i would recommend First Take's Slump and Scars (both are japanese songs) it is show where the artists will sing live in one take only, so if the artist make mistakes or anything then it will be uploaded as it is in the channel. skz is the first kpop group to sing there it was amazing.
Hyunjin did a short dance cover of Mmmh by kai actually it was like a live idk if you can find the full one so you can also watch clips of it. It was really nice. He just did the main part tho cuz stays wanted him to do it so he learned it and did it
