    You can tell you work in TV! I love your channel Randy! Hopefully it gets discovered soon. Your shots are definitely planned out to make your video! Any good tips on how to do this? Or does a lot of it come with experience?

      Hi. Thanks! I do a lot in the editing stage. But before I go on any trip I try to decide what style of video I'm going for. That helps me focus on the types of shots I need to get while filming.

    Cool.. ok, what month are you traveling? Only Germans go to Death Valley in the summer. I've been to D.V. In July on my way to Black Rock. Drove my '71 VW Bus.

    This was useful thank you, great editing, where do you wait in line for wilderness permits? also do you really got to start it at 2:00 a.m.?

    • @Roadtriprandy22
      @Roadtriprandy22  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. You can make a reservation online for most trails. I can't remember why we had to do this.

    so when waiting in line for your wilderness camping permit is there a line for every single trail or just a overall permit for every trail?

    • @Roadtriprandy22
      @Roadtriprandy22  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe it’s only certain trails.

    • @Roadtriprandy22

      waterproof and tear-resistant. you can get them at stores like REI or wilderness permit stations. not sure of the brand.

    Any concerns of encountering a grizzly? Any precautions taken if so (i.e. gun, bear spray, slow friend)?

    • @Roadtriprandy22
      @Roadtriprandy22  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Only black bears in Yosemite apparently. We didn't really think about them to be honest lol. No weapons allowed in the park.

    • @janefromthecountry1820
      @janefromthecountry1820 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bear spray in n Yosemite is not allowed. Its a crime. Yup.

    In the states you need a permit to camp outside of a designated camp site? Or is that only required for camping in national parks?

      I can't remember at that specific part, but I think the whole trip was a loop up in Tuolumne.
