I think that would be awesome to see Bong Joon-Ho direct a James Bond movie. He's a really talented director, I love his vision.

You can just see Director Bong's enthusiasm and energy and all the wheels turning in his head during the Q&A. He would give the Bond franchise a new lease of life, something we have never seen before.
Even on a zoom call, bong's frame is most cinematic.

Bring back Martin Campbell!, he's the greatest director for James Bond movies in modern era. Goldeneye and Casino Royale as the proof. Bring him back!

First of all,since he did such an incredible job on NTTD, I would love to see Carey come back again to direct a lighter and perhaps more traditional Bond film -
(ie- one that doesn’t blow him up at the end)

It’s a big surprise to see a director of serious, arthouse movies to show such interest and even admiration in a popcorn, blockbuster genre type film like James Bond. Wow. He has much broader tastes than I thought. This is something Scorsese wouldn’t do, I think.

Bong interviews like he directs, thoughtful and inquisitive with dashes of humor sprinkled on top. His movies are visceral works of art. Thanks for bringing him on to conduct this fascinating interview! Everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves.
I love James Bond vision he is a great director
Also things that set this franchise apart from the rest: charisma, reoccuring signature style themes & settings (casinos, tropical places, wintery locations, memorable soundtracks), usually a stand out central theme in each movie, ie they aren’t generic action mobies. Plus all the things mentioned in the interview.

Graig took the character to such heights that when I had seen NTTD in Cinema, I said to a friend of mine that either they have to stop right here or bring Bond back in his daughter. She would have the emotional wounds that echo that of Bond’s, she would have a sense of revenge to draw motivation from, an inner conflict that would give a lot for the writers to draw from. A lot of people would initially criticize the choice but so they did when Graig was introduced.

Its unfortunately bad because me and especially bonds fallowers want new revolutionary move from directers ,they should find good actor for next bond but its better to find British actor cause when I saw bond with this British appearance now I cant see bond out of this shape

Bong's movie, The Host, accurately portrayed a virus outbreak. (Government over-reach, lies, authoritarian mandates, medical tyranny) I bet if you asked him now, he's on board with the government. Lol.😂

NTTD was my most anticipated film ever. I spent so much time following this production, buying all the merch, but i have to admit, i took 3 viewings to grow on me. This film didnt feel like bond to me, as it went places i felt it shouldnt have gone. Killing bond for me was a dealbreaker. Also making a female 007 is not good in my opinion. I have no problems with strong female leads, its not that. The issue is that when you think of 007 as a brand, you immediately think of bond, and 007 will always be associated with a male bond. I feel this change to the formula was not the right thing to do
It's kind of sad when a character and things related to it are more brands than actual elements of dramatic storytelling
Right off the bat I thought it was brilliant. I was in tears and I don’t often do that in movies. Seen it several times and love it.

Not the way I wanted to see the Daniel Craig era end - not because of the ending - but
the script, the stuns, the deaths of everyone - just disappointing! I watched them all - this one was on the bottom of the Daniel Craig era. I feel Craig was just as good as Connery!
