I am so proud of how you handled yourself both professionally and personally during the shitstorm last year. It is sad when you offer help only to be painfully burnt. I wish you and Max a great year full of fun and silliness and exciting (def in a good way) travels.

As someone who has also been victim to a narcissist's smear campaign, I am SO GLAD you have this platform to say how you were feeling and address it. Anyone who has been abused by a narcissist could see what was happening to you (and others). I want you to know your experience is valid, the pain is real, and you did nothing, NOTHING to deserve it. Kudos to you for saying something now. ❤ Narcissists rely on the silence of their victims.
Nah you became my favourite creator after all that drama. You handled it beautifully and even the curated ‘evidence’ made you look pretty affable and professional to me, I’ve been watching everything you put out ever since ❤️
Right? I remember thinking "is this supposed to make Lucy look bad?" because it really didn't.
You were absolutely right to ignore the drama and let it pass. Any type of response would have only fueled the fire, and most level-headed individuals did not need your help to see that the narrative being presented against you did not make sense. I'm so sorry that you and some of the other friends became targets in that affair. I hope everyone is doing ok and that you all are happily moving on.
Ok so I didn’t know anything about the drama but I went to a few different sources around the internet and I am SHOCKED that someone could say anything negative about you in that “friendship” every video you were in you radiated empathy and warmth and care on all levels to her while she was broadcasting her spiral into….some kind of manic delusion (for lack of better words) and from what I read and heard it seems she’s still in that headspace and while that sucks it’s not you or anyone else’s problem. It’s her problem. So I’m proud of the people that stepped away to protect themselves, it’s hard, but sometimes necessary.
This is just so unfortunate. I hope she knows that no matter where she goes she is still stuck with herself and if you don’t fix yourself first the problems will still be there.

So happy you're speaking up and letting people know that this treatment of another person, whether "public" or not, is unacceptable. I've been so disappointed by people this year. You're doing great, and I'm really proud of you. It takes a lot of maturity to take everything on the chin and move forward, and you've had to carry a lot of your shoulders. Even with strength training and yummy gym gainz, it was way too heavy. Hoping for more kindness in 2024. 💖
How things went down with this person is terrible, hurtful and disgusting.
How this person thinks that they're the only and real victim is beyond me, it's terrible, especially from someone being an alleged "I'll do ANYTHING for my friends" person and proceed to do what they did.
ALSO the treatment before in retrospective, parenting someone is a responsibility that shouldn't have fell into you or anyone.
But anyways, 2024 seems brighter and exciting, so I wish you (and rest of the group) nothing but the best of best. I really hope 2024 is leaps better for y'all than 2023.

Once you learn what love bombing is and how/why it's utilised by certain types of people, the way this person treated Lucy and her friends and the way she still feels entitled to them in the aftermath of everything makes a lot of sense.

But a narcissist would make a 100 of different scenarios before thinking that they're doing something wrong 🙄
You handled everything with professionalism and you are the bigger person because of it. It is awful to have this aired for all to see, and without your consent, I cannot imagine. It was obvious for anyone to see who is "in the wrong" in this situation. I met this person and was one of their biggest fans, watching every single video for years until I realised what was happening to those around them. I hope everyone involved is OK, and has at least come a bit closer together because of it. I am so grateful that I found your channel because of this person, even with how it turned out. I hope you have a better 2024 and look forward to your content, as always. Thank you for being you :)
I'm aware of the situation you discussed in your last answer, and let me reassure you, it was crystal clear to anyone with half a brain that you were the victim of a scapegoating smear campaign. My chief concern all through this was the mental health of the people who were being publicly and maliciously slandered all over the internet, who just had to eat it all and not defend themselves (for various reasons). It was such unfair and recklessly thoughtless position to put you in, I just felt furious on your behalf. It doesn't help now, but I hope you know how obvious it is that you were an innocent bystander who got dragged into the mud. And this is from a random person on the internet who doesn't know any of you irl. If it's obvious to someone like me, then it should be obvious to pretty much everyone.
You handled this mess with the utmost class and professionalism, but really, you shouldn't have had to handle it at all. You should never have been put in such a horribly vulnerable position by someone you thought you knew and trusted. My heart sank when I heard it affected you in just the way I feared it might, but I'm so glad you have the personal emotional maturity and the strong support network to come out of the other side of it. Much love from the other side of the globe. ❤

Lucy, you're an amazing person and you've been nothing but classy and so level throughout all the ridiculousness that you straight up did not deserve. I have one thing to be thankful for in regards to that person, she introduced me to you and I am very glad you've stayed a part of the small group of people who live in my phone. Can I just say as well, re. Your last point, I truly hope Caitlyn is doing well. The way she was treated was particularly personal and nasty and it was distressing enough to just watch from the sidelines, I can only imagine how awful it must have been for her to experience.

I genuinely felt sick for you, seeing what she was posting about you, especially when she intentionally waited to release stuff while you were in Japan with the clear intention of distruping your trip.
I can't believe shes still playing the victim in all this, and more than that I can't believe that she has so many people ready to accecpt uncritically whatever she tells them.

I was only minimally aware of the craziness that went down when that person lost her mind and torched everyone around her (because I don't seek out that kind of stupid social media drama). But I did feel bad for you because you always seemed above-board and down-to-earth, and anyway no one (well, almost no one *cough* Tr*ump!!!) deserves to be publicly trashed like that. I hope 2024 will be calmer and more fun for you. So glad you have that support system, and wow! it's so exciting that you will travel for so long this year! Can't wait to see the videos from your travels. (PS: just be careful when traveling in the US/New Orleans. I've been there several times and while it's very picturesque there are also lots of sketchy neighborhoods. Always be vigilant. But you guys seem smart - I'm sure you will have fun! )

Based on homicide and other violent crime rates, you’re more likely to be the victim of a violent crime on the idyllic Florida beaches of St. Petersburg where there’s double the amount of white people and one third as many black people as New Orleans. Just say you’re afraid of melanated skin
Happy new year! Rome is a really nice city to explore and stumble upon nice things. For New york i recommend going to Chelsea market (food) and the High line park. Also take the Staten island ferry for a cheap view of the statue of liberty and skyline.
For DC wear actual for real comfortable walking shoes. Really. For sure.
The Smithsonian isn't one museum, it's a bunch of them. For specifically American things you don't really see outside the States, the American Indian museum and one of the African-American Museums would be good choices. Also you should see the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence (just because you'll be there, you know). If you like public art, walk around the whole Mall. There are various monuments all the way around.
Alexandria (across the river in Virginia) is a good place to go for dinner and cute Americana type shopping.
If you are going to be there for a while and are history minded, see if you can pop down to colonial Williamsburg. It's a bit of a journey but is a living history Museum of American colonial life.
NYC will be better for Theater, but you might want to check the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in DC as well. They might have something interesting going on.

Cafe du monde in New Orleans (NOLA) is a staple! Also Tableau! You've got to try all of the foodie things : Gumbo, Jambalaya, Beignets, Po boys, etc. Enjoy your trip!
I went to New Orleans in 2019 and it was aaaaaamazing! Definitely check out Frenchmen Street, its like Bourbon street but not as crowded. And all the food was soooo yummy 🤤☺️ cant wait to see all your travel vids!!!
Best seafood is actually outside of New Orleans in Manchac :) it’s called Middendorfs! ( The hush puppies are to diiiieee foooorr ) :) and then in Hammond/ Ponchatoula there’s this GREAT mom and pop muffalatta Shop!

Hiiiii, I live in DC and I tihnk you might enjoy a restaraunt called Urban Roast. They decorate for the holidays and have really delicious giant charcuterie boards. Be sure to book a reservation though because it's always packed! ☺

Girl you need to research DC lol. Know exactly where you're going, and pay attention to what's happening around you. I highly recommend ubering the entire time, same with NY. Pre-planning your destinations definitely.
