I had thoroughly watched Sheikh AbdurRahman Hassan's (ARH) video on the Ashari's and I remembered that Ashari's take logic and reasoning over the Quran and Sunnah. Second, ARH mentioned that part of Ashari creed is to tell the masses one thing, but their scholars hold other opinions. Still, I had not taken notes of ARH's video, so that was the main gist I took from his video. Now, I am very pleased to see your response, breaking down every lie he said, bit by bit.

ʿAbd bin Ḥumayd reported from Yūnus bin Muḥammad from Shaybān bin ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from Qatādah from Ḥasan from Abī Huraira who said:
بَيْنَمَا نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسٌ وَأَصْحَابُهُ إِذْ أَتَى عَلَيْهِمْ سَحَابٌ، فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
Once when the Prophet of Allah was sitting with his Companions, a cloud came above them, so the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
«هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا هَذَا؟»
Do you know what this is?
فَقَالُوا: اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ.
They said: ‘Allah and His Messenger know better.’
قَالَ: «هَذَا العَنَانُ هَذِهِ رَوَايَا الأَرْضِ يَسُوقُهُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِلَى قَوْمٍ لَا يَشْكُرُونَهُ وَلَا يَدْعُونَهُ»
He said: ‘These are the clouds that are to drench the earth, which Allah [Blessed and Most High] dispatches to people who are not grateful to Him, nor supplicate to Him.’
ثُمَّ قَالَ: «هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا فَوْقَكُمْ»؟
Then he said: ‘Do you know what is above you?’
قَالُوا: اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ
They said: ‘Allah and His Messenger know better.’
قَالَ: «فَإِنَّهَا الرَّقِيعُ، سَقْفٌ مَحْفُوظٌ، وَمَوْجٌ مَكْفُوفٌ»
He said: ‘Indeed it is a preserved canopy of the firmament whose surge is restrained.’
ثُمَّ قَالَ: «هَلْ تَدْرُونَ كَمْ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهَا؟»
Then he said: ‘Do you know how much is between you and between it?’
قَالُوا: اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ.
They said: ‘Allah and His Messenger know better.’
قَالَ: «بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهَا مَسِيرَةُ خَمْسِ مِائَةِ سَنَةٍ»
He said: ‘Between you and it [is the distance] of five-hundred year.’
ثُمَّ قَالَ: «هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا فَوْقَ ذَلِكَ؟»
Then he said: ‘Do you know what is above that.’
قَالُوا: اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ.
They said: ‘Allah and His Messenger know better.’
قَالَ: «فَإِنَّ فَوْقَ ذَلِكَ سَمَاءَيْنِ، مَا بَيْنَهُمَا مَسِيرَةُ خَمْسِمِائَةِ عَامٍ» - حَتَّى عَدَّ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ - «مَا بَيْنَ كُلِّ سَمَاءَيْنِ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ»
He said: ‘Verily, above that are two Heavens, between the two of them there is a distance of five-hundred years’ - until he enumerated seven Heavens - ‘What is between each of the two Heavens is what is between the heavens and the earth.’
ثُمَّ قَالَ: «هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا فَوْقَ ذَلِكَ؟»
Then he said: ‘Do you know what is above that.’
قَالُوا: اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ.
They said: ‘Allah and His Messenger know better.’
قَالَ: «فَإِنَّ فَوْقَ ذَلِكَ العَرْشَ وَبَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ بُعْدُ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءَيْنِ».
He said: ‘Verily, above that is the Throne between it and the heavens is a distance [like] what is between two of the heavens.’
ثُمَّ قَالَ: «هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا الَّذِي تَحْتَكُمْ»؟
Then he said: ‘Do you know what is under you?’
قَالُوا: اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ.
They said: ‘Allah and His Messenger know better.’
قَالَ: «فَإِنَّهَا الأَرْضُ».
He said: ‘Indeed it is the earth.’
ثُمَّ قَالَ: «هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا الَّذِي تَحْتَ ذَلِكَ»؟
Then he said: ‘Do you know what is under that?’
قَالُوا: اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ.
They said: ‘Allah and His Messenger know better.’
قَالَ: «فَإِنَّ تَحْتَهَا أَرْضًا أُخْرَى، بَيْنَهُمَا مَسِيرَةُ خَمْسِ مِائَةِ سَنَةٍ» - حَتَّى عَدَّ سَبْعَ أَرَضِينَ - «بَيْنَ كُلِّ أَرْضَيْنِ مَسِيرَةُ خَمْسِ مِائَةِ سَنَةٍ»
He said: ‘Verily, below it is another earth, between the two of which is a distance of five-hundred years.’ Until he enumerated seven earths: ‘Between every two earths is a distance of five-hundred years.’
ثُمَّ قَالَ: «وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ دَلَّيْتُمْ بِحَبْلٍ إِلَى الأَرْضِ السُّفْلَى لَهَبَطَ عَلَى اللَّهِ».
Then he said: ‘By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad! If you were to send [a man] down with a rope to the lowest earth, then he would descend upon Allah.’
ثُمَّ قَرَأَ:
Then he recited:
{هُوَ الأَوَّلُ وَالآخِرُ وَالظَّاهِرُ وَالْبَاطِنُ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ}
«He is the First and the Last; the Outer and the Inner; He has knowledge of all things.»
[al-Tirmidhī comments:]
هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.
This ḥadīth is Gharīb from this route.
وَيُرْوَى عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، وَيُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالُوا: لَمْ يَسْمَعِ الْحَسَنُ مِنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ.
It is narrated that Ayyūb, Yūnus bin ʿUbayd, and ʿAlī bin Zayd said: ‘Al-Ḥasan did not hear from Abu Huraira.’
وَفَسَّرَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ فَقَالُوا: إِنَّمَا هَبَطَ عَلَى عِلْمِ اللهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ وَسُلْطَانِهِ.
Some of the People of Knowledge interpreted this ḥadīth and said: He would have descended on the Knowledge, Power and Sovereignty of Allah.
عِلْمُ اللهِ وَقُدْرَتُهُ وَسُلْطَانُهُ فِي كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ كَمَا وَصَفَ فِي كِتَابِهِ.
The Knowledge of Allah, His Ability and His Sovereignty are everywhere - and He is over the Throne as He described in His Book.

Thank you akhi. I am from Malaysia, where we were taught al ashaira aqeedah since young.i always felt that there were sometime very wrong with our aqeedah. Questions came to my mind like 'what were the aqeedah of Muslims before imam Abu Hasan as shari?' were never answered. After watching your videos (especially aqeedah wasatiyah) , alhamdulillah, I am on the salafi mazhab.
I am not surprised because many people are not intelligent, since wahabis has low IQ they easily trap people of low IQ and if you ask questions to non debator they won't answer... We also need no low IQ people in our ahlus sunnah group, i am proud to say that I left your cult and follows Shafi'i school and part of Deobandi Movement Tablighi jamaat, question arises what were the aqeedah of the muslims before birth of Muhammad ibn abdul wahab and ibn taymiyyah? One person died in prison and another was kicked out of his house?

I am trying really hard to understand how the asharis are ready to go above and beyond in defending something that their imam repented from. How can the imam who came up with it realize that he was wrong about this ideology and repented from it and wrote it in books to tell everyone not to follow it and that it is not the methodology of the salaf and yet, his so called followers dont want to follow that advice from him. What kind of hard head, deviant heart behavior is this? I am shocked by the amount of lies he has uttered. Even if imam abu hasan al ashaari per say still followed his old methodology and did not repent, wAllahi it is enough proof against them that they ascribe themselves to an imam more than two centuries after the prophet instead of the sahabah and the salaf truthfully. I would like to add that the Ashari sect only came at 300 Hijri so 3 centuries after the prophet ﷺ since Imam Ashari was mutazila for 40 years from birth (260 AH). So not even from the first 3 generations (or more) and 3 centuries b4 that there were no Asharis.

In my country the ashaaris claim they follow imam shafi'i, yet he himself was the harshest in his verdicts against people of kalam and ilmul kalam and there are countless statements on that.
They always say he was referring to the muatizzulah not ashari but they don't provide good evidence other than the fact the muatizilah existed and then just assume it was them since it would refute them otherwise.

May Allah protect us from the false belief. Honestly when I talk about Allah attributes most my closest people have different understanding, for Example when I said about Allah hand, some said the hand mean Allah Rahmah (blessing or help), another one said only Allah knows the meaning of the hand we can’t said hand is hand. In the end we never talk about Aqedah only make dua, only Allah can guide them. Allahul Musta’an.
