I love overnight train journeys, we were two female travellers exploring central Asia.We took a train from ALMATY TO TASHKENT. It was my first time border crossing on a train, it was a fun experience.
It's a 17 hour journey and costed us 4000 Indian Rupees per person.
IS IT SAFE FOR FEMALE TRAVELLERS?

Hi Jagriti...Was it a overnight train ? The timings I see is 9 AM in morning and then you reach Tashkent around 2AM in morning.

We can get evisa for Uzbekistan. There is no visa on arrival in Uzbekistan for Indians, even if traveling by train

Yep Kazaks have an "attitude" problem. Even Uzbekis and Tajiks will tell you that. You probably faced the issue coz ur from India. I hope u get my point. I hav seen that too 😊

Whichever is cheaper. You can do tashkent almaty or almaty tashkent just check dates which is cheaper. You can plan the itenary accordingly
