With a group of friends we decided to invade the Singapore Aladdin 2019 movie premiere. Nothing came out of the invasion, because we actually got official and Disney was cool with us, but that made it even better. We had the 2019 movie edition Aladdin, Jasmin, Jaffar and of course me as the Genie 🧞
Had fun dresing up as genie. I've assembled the suit out of elements readily available on aliexpress. But the face I just had to paint myself, and that was a real pain. Watch the video to see the process of face painting and suiting up for the Aladdin movie screening in Singapore.

That looks great! I am attending a Disney themed birthday party in a few months, and I want to go as the genie (by partner will be Aladdin). Where did you get the ponytail wig from? I just can’t find anything like that online.

Hey, sorry didn't notice your comment. It's not exactly ready made, some assembly is required. Look for "Soowee wavy synthetic hair claw". I made the base out of Eva foam, spray painted gold and decorated with gold puffy paint.
Arthur's Creatures how did it stay on your head?? Did it ever fall wow!
@@jgatus85 I've used Telesis8 to glue it on, stayed on the whole night (about 4 hours) and in Singapore's heat that's an amazing stunt ;) I was sweating like crazy

Had the same problem so decided to make them myself. Was quite easy. I've used Eva foam as the base (just free hand cuts), glued with superglue, then spray painted gold. I've ordered cheap bracelets on AliExpress, cut them into pieces and glued on using hot glue. The final step was to decorate the whole thing using gold puffy paint. All in all it took me about 3-4 hours.
