Pretty much, a proper nostalgia trip for me! Some of the jumpiness is caused by the VHS recording, however. The text showing the channel name when you change channels would stay at the top of the screen where it's meant to be, but you did get a fully scrambled picture for a second or so every time you changed channel.
I can tell you exactly what that was. Zee TV (at the very start) was a standalone subscription service with its own card. It couldn't decode any other channels. So you see the Zee TV card being swapped with the Sky card around 0:35.
what i would give to go back to this time!!
Great times for television. Its not gonna be the same ever again ... unless ....
Lovely! VideoCrypt artefacts 😯
Nostalgic, who remembers the snowy picture when it rained😂
Christmas came early in 1995
"Nikelodeon" 😂
Cybernet was awesome!
That cybernet promo goes hard!
I agree.
Ever think it's cool / weird that these clips might be the only copy of these shows to still exist?
This is very early sept 1995
Is this what Sky TV looked like in The UK before Sky Digital was founded in 1998?

Bruh Nickelodeon Better Nikelodeon
Weird how they spell Nickelodeon as 'Nikelodeon.'
Because they couldn't fit it in so they abbreviated it
@Spencer Lent Because you often with these old analogue receivers had to type the name of the channel in yourself, so many people just abbreviated it.
It's like if SpongeBob had shoes. Nike Lodeon.
same with Cartoon Network on sky q
“Cartoon Netwrk
@@mattwebb6056I feel like they could have put Nick instead of "Nike"lodeon
1:24 QVC
i saw a tcc continuity.
Nikelodeon?
Most analogue receivers had a character limit on the channel name so it had to be abbreviated.
