I really enjoy your PCOL trips Simon, the journey through the famous sights of London, and the meet up itself with all the different characters and pipes on display. For a country somerset chap like myself it's all very fascinating. Congratulations on winning that very nice Peterson churchwarden pipe, I hope the extra length makes up for no filter. Thanks for posting.
Great video Simon. Thanks for sharing this with us. Enjoyed watching the competition. Congrats on the 3rd place finish and pipe! Well done. Best wishes.
Congratulations on a nice third place finish. I didn't quite catch the rules. Over hear at our club we all have to use exactly the same pipe which becomes a bit dicey for guys on a tight budget because the pipe is usually in the $100 price range. Two matches are allowed, all use the same blend, if one tamps the pipe has to stay in your mouth as you tamp, no soft blowing into the pipe to keep it lit( that is an odd rule to me because it invites some subtle cheating if one is prone to that sort of thing.) Anyway always love seeing the pipe club, a very classy facility. Keep puffin.
Hey simon great video, how did you do? I was testing myself out the other day to see how long I could last on smoking slow I got it up to 30 mins lol. Hope everything is good. I want to visit London one day and maybe we could meet up. Cheers your friend Chris
@@londoncallingwithsimon6817 Nice for your first competition that's in my opinion wonderful. All the guys in your club sound very informed on pipes and tobaccos. What blend/ type did you smoke?
@@londoncallingwithsimon6817 do you know any online stores in the UK that still deliver/ship to the USA, I'm trying to find tobacco that isn't in the state that I want to try?
What's with the cars and traffic? I want to see the pipe club and Peterson pipe guys! But now that I've seen it.....boring!!! I know.....smoking a pipe should be relaxing and a time to contemplate.
Congratulations Simon. Third place on your first time is great. that’s one to be proud of. You have a great rest of your week.
Congratulations, Simon! Placing 3rd in your first competition is quite remarkable. Well done!
