Mighty Dwight! I went your concert Bakersfield, California. It was great concert, and I collect your precious souvenirs. I heard your song 30years ago, South Korea. As soon as heard your voice was hooked right away. Also, I am so proud of Merle, too. He not from Bakersfield, but he put on the map on Bakersfield Sound, truly. Thank you for choosing for the Merle song.
Dwight........the greatest, and the closest to what is the real sound of country. Dwight is a national treasure in keeping the sound of the real bluegrass/country/ America alive and in good order.
This reminds me of sitting on the backseat of the car of my parents. My dad driving smoking his pall mall filter cigarets my Mother Sharing Candy and sandwiches with me and my kid brother incase we were hungry. Life was simpele but so good. I miss it . Thank you go sharing. 😘
. . A big talent and true artist- Endless stories and contributions - and incredibly knowledgeable, well read and connected to the the musical landscape Thanks to the J team for these Dwight segments and hopefully they'll be more frequent- . .
Holy smokes Jonesy looks nothing like I imagined. I listen to him while I am out running errands, my favorite interview of his was when he had Foghat in studio, but anyway, I imagined some skinny little man, like Iggy Pop but walleyed not this big smoky voiced guy.
Man, the Brits seem to musically have such an edge on Americans… Except country. Dwight, Merle, Johnny, Conway, Tammy, Loretta, Dolly, et al. America lacks nothing when it comes to Country, Bluegrass or Blues.
Dear God I wish these modern So-called country music artists, would just listen to this and learn.
You said it best
Amen
what a singer Dwight is..my god i could listen to him forever..from lovely Ireland..
Amen, Mary.
and also here from Wales !!!
One of my favorites. Found this talent just before he passed. RIP
God, I love this man. Even with a cold he sounds amazing.
Dwight is the best! I’m so happy he always does a tribute to Merle at his concerts, real country music!

Poor Steve lost his marbles and became a musketeer all for one and one for all
