So when whisper wasn't visible, he started running and canceling to get the little reticle and used that. Amazing
Dear God these is what I call a high end build, it takes a good understanding of space and movement to take advantage of it but it paid off, watching the video took a bit to track what you where doing.
looks aggravating af to play against. well done on the vid/commentary drew, killed it as always.
At first I was disappointed with bakris on prismatic because I thought it felt like stasis bakris but just not as good, then I saw your clip and realized I was leaning into the wrong parts of the kit. Changed my build and now I love it. Thanks so much!
Long comment ahead! I'm nowhere near on Drewskys level but I use Blink regularly & Stasis has been my go to from pretty much the day it was released & Bakris is one of my most used Exotics! Hopefully my suggestions might help out.
Something that might come up for people if you dont use Blink & they are a little counter productive.
Having max mobility makes you blink higher. It doesn't really help you in any way & sometimes you can get caught on map texture as an annoying example! However, Bakris is tied to your Dodge! 50-60 Mobility for Blink seems to work pretty well for me but then the Bakris cooldown felt kinda long. I've gone 70 Mobility & use the Mods that give you Class Ability Energy when you cause damage with Grenade & Melee Damage.
This one is more adding to your area denial, more passive play if you're not confident with Grapple Melee & helps with the Bakris cooldown.
Use Duskfield + Smoke!! You get the area denial of the Duskfield, slowing counts as damage for the Gauntlet Mod & there's a Fragment that allows Light Abilities to do more damage to Darkness Debuffed Enemies! Slow = Darkness, Smoke = Light. Buffed Smokes with that Combo do a ton of damage!!
I wish Warlock could blink grapple as well. Awesome video.
every class has its own things. yes grapple blink is fun despite the high skill requirement's to use blink in itself and its harder in hunters since hunters don't have a blink exotic but warlocks do the blink is much better with that exotic and it volatile people and with prismatic u can have phoenix dive with blink and u can add souls into the mix so like I said every class has good stuff that's special to it
Ever since that opening clip you posted on Twitter I've been waiting for this video
I'm terrible at PvP, but this playstyle looks so fun that I HAVE to try it out.
Reminds me of rocket jumping in TF2: really fast, aggressive, and will take time to master.
Good luck! I agree
thank you sir! didn't really enjoy prismatic hunter that much, but i'm an old bakris lover and didn't really even think about it on prismatic, love it now
6:03 bro smacked titan so hard he forgot who he was fighting
Awesome build, and I have been thinking about how this would play out in pvp with strand melee, bakris dodge, and clone drop with slow aspect. Showcased it nicely here. ALTHOUGH, Im using a build no one is talking about. I've been having fun with the one hit kill melee build involving khepris sting. Run kepris with grapple melee smoke bomb charge and winters shroud with threaded specter aspects. Use the fragment that allows light ability's to do more damage when the enemy is debuffed by dark ability. I start by blinking to close the gap or fly past player, then slingshot back at them with grapple melee. As long as you have full smoke melee charge ready. The player will immediately get unraveled and smoked by high damaging smoke bomb at the same time thanks to khepri and fragment synergy. Dodge away with slow aspect and drop a clone at once if somehow they survived with a lucky overshield.
just remember that in lore warlocks taught hunters how to blink :)
Sure Warlocks taught hunters how to blink, but hunters mastered the skill beyond warlocks comprehension.
@@handsomeDRAC clearly with how often warlocks are falling off cliffs
Madness. Good job!
Super helpful, thank you!
Good build and video.
9:31 is my favorite part.
I genuinely believe this is objectively the strongest PvP build that has ever existed (obvious unbalanced outliers nonwithstanding)
This build pushes movement ceiling higher and empowers players to play better. A team of players running this build well would be nigh-unstoppable.
Agreed. This is the highest ceiling I think I've ever felt on a build that doesn't have something painfully/obviously broken (shatterdive level). Even in the case of the past outliers, many had a very high floor, and not as much ceiling. I think this is up there with float dawnblade for playmaking ability.
I've really leaned into blink with grapple and it's illegal how many certain death situations I've flipped to killing my opponents or completely ripping their attention from my teammates to kill them
Amazing gameplay, love this, absolutely peak!
The intro music gives "You wouldn't download an illegal hunter build" vibes 💀
psst, I think I got the reference 😎😏
Been trying out this build combo ever since you made the one twitter post! I have had tons of fun with this build. I'm still working out some kinks but I am definitely committed to running this on hunter for pvp moving forward.
This is so sick. I gotta try this out
Scalar potential is a great option in the energy slot as it’s a great PvP pulse that can get the arc Bakris boost
What's your roll on it? I just realised I never crafted one for PvP specifically. It's been a while since I've used a rapid fire frame.
So nice to see what people like Drew and Cammy can do with prismatic. They bring these tools into the realm of art and it's a damn pleasure to watch.❤
'teleports behind you, omae wa mou shindeiru' the Build.
conesky returns once again, loved the video
I pretty much put this together today and it’s going to take some practice. I’m on PS5 and not very good at pvp but it feels awesome when you nail the mvmt. Had me laughing more than I have in a long time in pvp. Both fractethyst and peacebond worked great
Drewsky, please try Scalar Potential with Permeability. It would fit perfectly with this build, especially with Bakris!
It is the best weapon to build transcendence meter, being able to fill light and dark meters equally by switching elements with you class ability.
...this. Is. BEAUTIFUL! You're doing us Hunters proud here, Drew
Classic Drew W. Lotta neat stuff to chew on.
been using this since i got all aspects, so much fun
Drew “The Final Cone” sky has returned to grace us with a video.
I saw this and completely forgot u could do this and immediately started using it and holy crap my brian is fried. Ill need a LOT more time with this but I pulled off the grapple blink melee bakris like twice in trials and my goodness its just wild sooOoo much fun mobility class is back baby 😂
I haven’t even unlocked prismatic on my hunter yet, but wow you just convinced me to get on it.
I want to know if Khepri + Smoke bomb + Grapple melee triggers smoke bombs on grapple melee. Sounds good on paper.
I have a khepri's build on deck as well, soon
Holy shit this build is amazing. Also I gotta say you’re a great PvP player, I wish I was as good as you lol
Aside from blink this has been my combo in PVE with Eager on Half Truth. Slays through everything and can freeze everything with the slow stasis aspect and threaded specter will distract stuff.
Khepris gives you near constant up time on vicious smoke bombs and one hit kill grapples. Add blink, clones and stylish to the mix and you have disruptive.
Now I know you’re a fraud. Simple Jack would never say something so smart.
Peacebond and The Vision, if rolled with swashbuckler get a .43sec TTK after melee kill (works with grapple melee). Without a melee kill, Mask of Bakris gives a .5sec TTK
YES! I had inspiration after seeing a friend using blink and that build is crazy fun. I probably going to get annoying though...
I wondered how long till someone else picked up this combo of loadout and classes, now I've been using it in pve with combination blow to bring up dodge faster, but now I see the viability in pvp 💪
Bro I’ve been running almost this exact build for weeks now. This is genuinely the healthiest build this game has to offer. You have to genuinely get good, but the reward is amazing. I’ve been running riposte instead of the BXR, and I occasionally swap to supremacy if I need to snipe.
Wow nice video . Very interesting build
I'm just never aggressive enough for these kinds of builds so I've been trying to get an Ophidian + Coyote class item and using Swarm Grenades instead of Grapple. Smoke, two Clones, and Swarms are pretty annoying to deal with too. Wish I could just seemingly throw caution to the wind and start breaking ankles with something like this, though.
I actually run a similar build, mostly because I haven't let go of bakris since it came out in beyond light. However, I'm much lower skill so I run triple jump instead of blink and frost pulse instead of stylish. Works really well.
Been blinking for exclusively for 3 years. Always hated grapple cuz it competed with my movements. However….😮😮😮. I am currently taking my hunter through the campaign 😂😂
You should try this with amplified from ascension. It makes blink feel a lot better with the added weapon handling and with the increased distance you can go. Not to mention the grapple ascension cancel for the ultimate escape option. That's what I use on my build. That and frosteez
You'd need a teammate to buff you. Otherwise, you'd really have both available if you're referring to bakaris dodging
@Deathcardcodwaw I use frosteez not bakris. I pop ascension, get amplified, then can usually run my dodge back in 8 seconds or so
Absolute master class. Good lord.
this video is wonderful.
Kepris sting works well here too. 1 shot melee with grapple
Another thing to think about is the damage buff to stasis and arc weapons
Fought you last weekend and you had that build on. Fastest 0-5 i’ve been a part of 😂
Finally someone who uses blunt execution rounds on their battler
Always has been, since day 1
Just wait till they give warlocks grapple and Icarus since they clearly forgot to involve warlocks in the movement fun for prismatic
There are few weapons I've clicked really well with in crucible, one of which being the Last Dance sidearm... an ARC sidearm....
This could be crazy with Centrifuse. Could get an eazy kill and blind and damage near by enemies
Made this first day of Final Shape lol. Literally theory crafted it when prismatic was announced lol
I’ve been running this build after seeing it on a low known YTuber. Something’s are different but I see the community is catching on. Went flawless with this build
I made something similar about a week ago with knucklehead radar but mask of bakris has been in the bacj of my mind and would play with a symmetry or a prosecutor or even an arc bow
As a titan main, this keeps me up at night.
Would love to see a lot of example gameplay even breakdowns of that and or a blink beginner guide.
A blink guide is definitely something I wanna work on. I'm really passionate about the movement ability - its got the perfect mix of a real ceiling/potential with style points that feel satisfying to execute correctly, not to mention many top players don't utilize it.
@@drewskyschannel ever since you posted the clip on Twitter I have been practicing constantly in comp and quick play and I really think this could be the best hunter build to ever enter PVP it's just such a crazy feeling and the most difficult part in my opinion is really blink and timing it with the grapple so you still maintain your melee before you posted that clip I was already looking at the access to blink and grapple being on the same subclass thinking it was at least a idea to look at when I got done playing through the story content in the pale heart and that was really happy to see you working on that idea in that clip really hope you continue to just focus more content on this build even uploading highlights of matches. I have not been excited for PVP and a very long time and this build sends me through the roof
@@drewskyschannel also really hoping to see a video on sightline survey like the old posterity video
@@drewskyschannelwhat are your armor mods. Just got the bakris and started playing hunter? Thanks
Drewskys final form
The mask with my Arc slug one shots body after dodge 💀
i like to call this build “the playing like a beeyatch and prolong the match special”
I do not play pvp much if ever but if I was a crucible regular this is 100% the build I'd use. It just looks so dang fun.
Matador/Fractethyst feel exotic with Bakris
Bro I've been using this build since TFS launched and many thought it was bad. Been flawless every weekend on my first pass.
you can grapple the smoke bomb
This guys sounds exactly like the guy from the Finding Equilibrium channel
Do you think the BxR is a better choice than Elsies Rifle?
The Houdini hunter
Imagine Bakris with Gemini jester
crazy fashion
Man I wish I was good with blink. The triple jump muscle memory is too strong
we are so back...ris
Since using mask of bakris wouldn't an arc pulse work better like the lightfall crafted one and maybe a stasis or arc rocket launcher with tracking module?
Sick!😊
We makin it outta Gold III with this one 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Bro chill? This my life youre broadcasting to everyone
Been running this for a few weeks now. The movement tech is PRIME
I don’t play pvp but I enjoyed this. Finally looks like hunters can take on op titans n warlocks 😎
I try this! 🔥🔥 but armor mods?
Lore accurate Prismatic Hunter
As a fellow Drew, i approve this message
Dammit. Daltnix just put a video up of this build and I thought it was gonna stay underground long enough for me to sneak people with it. Smh. So much for that. Lol.
What's your battler roll?
Tbh I'm okay with Prism Hunter being this good. It feels good to break ankles and setup traps as bungie intended.
Most busted subclass in D2 history. Hunters have if it all and then some 😢
I was hoping this would stay under the radar 😭
tried the build with godroll sightline and boi it 2 taps easy
please give it a try
Mannnn Titans need some sauce man
What is this 2000s hacker sequence music in the intro
I hate that light shifts take over 3 seconds, feels like 10! 😭
Can’t wait to see multiple people try this and fail
This has been my favorite setup since the dlc launched
While this is a high end build, Bungie doesn't typically like mobility this freeing.
Warlock double dash, Titan Stasis, and Stompees were all nerfed because of stuff like this.
Cool build going though
I've been a hunter main ever since destiny 1 came out, and although lots of people said hunter was unbalanced i've never actually bothered. Now though, it's safe to say that the class feels overwhelming in pvp, it just is not fair anymore, the clone from the dash itself it stupid because of radar manipulation, let alone the stupid tracking pellets that come out from it. Prismatic also just gets rid of whatever flaws hunters could have already, providing it with an absurd amount of everything you will ever need.
I'm not salty, i'm saying facts, I always loved hunters, but this is too much bungie... I remember the time when dunemarchers were broken and titan could 1 hit melee, and honestly i'd rather go back to this time than right now. I've seen recluse being overpowered, desperado making it's way everywhere and anywhere, revoker, stasis when it came out etc... name it all, i've played through it and yet, I doubt anything was as stupid as hunter is right now. If anyone read this far, i'd like you guys to convince me that hunter is not broken, and why I should even play any other class (I've had a bunch of fun with warlock in the past, but obviously spent thousand hours on my hunter...)
Dirty build!
I know you like building for unique things, take a look at that artifact mod that boosts tangle detonations with strand weapons......
Jesus fuckin christ mate. The grapple into the blink into the grapple melee into the shift spectral dodge is fuckin diabolical.
At the end I noticed that you're using marksman dodge, is there a reason why you chose to use that instead or gamblers like you recommended?
Why not using an arc pulse?
youre crazy not using the freezing slow aspect on dodge on the super
Definitely feels like it could have a place, but ultimately just felt a bit unnecessary to me, tunneling a bit too much on the main combo which was plenty strong already - not to mention that slow without durance just doesn't feel that impactful. Also, stylish still gets use from grapple melee on top of just simply activating on gunfights, so I prefer to build a bit wider into that.
am i faded about the aspects? it seems you have six equipped when it allows for five, i may just be stupid
It's possible to see the mods of the build please ?
