Dang that little birch drums sounds huge. I have an original series 8 kit that I will never sell. Thing records like a dream. The new 6 series look impressive. I love the look of drumcraft drums. Glad to see them back.
Every sound of snare is perfect! I like your playing and sound, and how the toms are tuned. If it's not a secret, how did you tune the batter and reso heads? What are the frequencies for 10", 12" and 14" toms, up & bottom? I've had Drumcraft 4 Studio for a few months ago, but I can't get a sound that will satisfy me. Thanks! Best regards!
Thank you very much Dragan! There's no big secret actually, and usually I don't tune to specific frequencies. It's batter & resonant head at the same frequency for toms, for snare resonant head quite a lot higher than the batter head. Kind regards!
@@digitaldrumming Thank you for answering me! What I can hear tonally is roughly a D, or D sharp for 10" tom. Am I wrong? (Or maybe lower...🙂) Cause you play fast, and just one hit in your fill. 🎵 The next 12" tom is left from your snare, and it is about C or B tone... The 14" is a mistake. 😀 At first I thought I needed to change the heads, but I saw that they were the same Remo UC heads as on your drum kit (same batter and reso). Very impressive, and warm...(I like the sound of Harvey, or Omar...) And your sound! 👋 Best regards! Sorry, I apologize if I'm too boring. ❤
I have the 14x5,5 Aluminium. Excellent instrument with good snare wires and a better head. Slap a Moongel on, and the rings overtones are almost gone. Crisp and very responsive, and a generous tuning range. Without dampening you get Matt Cameron’s Black Hole Sun sound. This is well worth the 199 Euros.
pretty impressed by the shallow birch ! Also the coppers sounded great !! And I'm really surprised that the 5.5 maple had more punch than the 6.5 maple......😅 Good snare drums for affordable prices !

Please give us presentation of the new Drumcraft Concert brass and bubinga snare
@@boristomakic5995 Hopefully coming up soon!
@@digitaldrumming I wouldn't buy it until I hear it
6.5 COPPER !!!
There you go, great video!! Thank you
@@arthurazoubel5344 thank you very much Arthur!
I like that 14x4 Birch especially and the 5.5 Maple sounds good to me!
Yeah that piccolo has great punch, I was totally surprised because I actually was of the opinion that I didnt like piccolo snares at all 😆

@@hans-petermuller9457 Absolutely, aluminum & the little piccolo were my personal favourites of the bunch 🥁
try out a powerstroke 3 or P77 headand no need for a moongel (unless you want to) ;) lol

Ich hätts nicht besser sagen können 🤙🥁
i cant believe that there sound so good for that price it's crazy they are cheap and sound like big boy from other company !!!
That 14x4 is great!
EXACTLY! Actually I’m considering to keep the flat little fella 🧸
The birch appears to 8 lugs... hmmm...
So what? Ludwig Acrolite has 8 lugs and it's an iconic snare. Listen with your ears, not with your eyes.
@@markomarkovic5729 I did listen with my ears... and liked what I heard. Perhaps 8-lugs contributed.
Not a one stands up
