nope, nope, nope, i was completely wrong. this kid has some serious fucking skill. bet he destroys the shit out of these games but doesn't have much access to real tables, but he'd master those too... if it's any consultation, pinball arcade on a scale of being real compared to a real table i would say its about 65 percent close to a real table, which actually is pretty amazing considering it's a video game.
So, how do you personally think Pinball Arcade translates into when you are playing on a real pin? It must help some bit though, I find it does. What do you think? I am actually pretty damn good myself at pinball arcade, but I can not do what you do for sure.
As far as it accurately translating the real pinball experience, PBA still has a ways to go before that will be done. But for learning the tables rules and some of the key shots, it's a winner. I have every season and will more than likely continue and get the next season. Especially now that they've officially acquired more Williams and Bally rights.
I played on a real pinball machine a few months ago at a bar in town... And I was surprised at just how much my brain sees both the video game and the physical thing as the same. Like, the way my brain processes the information. To me, there's no difference between playing TPA or an actual pinball machine. The physics are good enough that my brain can just deal with it.
@Starscream Now, after the change of licensing, try Pinball FX3. IMHO TPA can't hold a candle against it. If TPA is 65 percent close to the real one as @Vision821 said (which I think is pretty accurate) I'd say FX3 is 85~!
I'm not certain how my comments got deleted in this conversation. Regardless, as of now, TPA is outdated, compared to FX3. Fish Tales on there is absolutely kicking my butt. I'm liking the challenge. Pinball is not meant to be easy. Hope you're still around, Vision.

I'm really struggling with my strategy on that table and you're expertise and point of view could really help me. :)

Hello. It seems that the rules are different on Android. As an example, before getting Monster Fish on android you have to go through the loop more than 3 times
eh, you can really tell he manipulates the game, that's the problem with visual pinball, i mean, i own a REAL table, quite a few, so i'm sorry, i just can not accept this, FAIL.
This game must've been a quarter bandit back in the day. I've never had great luck on it, but the table is still very fun to play
It was. The lightning flippers plus ricochets off the boat lead to lots of center drains.
Plus, anyone with a compatible console can have the table for free, as it is included in Pinball FX 3 at no extra cost.
