The absolute last era of Kiss that was worth seeing. Pauls vocals are great, Eric's playing energized the act. The set lists of this era had a great mix of classic and modern no makeup era songs. The glory days, so long ago
I love this era of Kiss the most! I think "Revenge" is probably one of their best Albums! I'd love to see a "Revenge" reunion with all the great non Kiss Makeup songs and of course some Great early Makeup era songs as well. Love Alive III!!
@@stewartsanders7087 Eric Carr sucked live, he's a legend and I respect and love his legacy, but he was not half as good as Eric Singer is, both singing and playing
I was there (!!!) and they thorughly kicked ass that night! Loved their looks and style back then. Being faIr, that was an exciting time for the KISSARMY at least. The band of this era had chemistry and could play the s*** out of anyone, anytime, anywhere!. KISS got mean and hungry again (like during the "Creatures of the Night "era) and it showed for a good number of years. They tapped into something of their past whilst moving forward, and finally (for the first time since the make-up era) , came up with a really valid Hard Rocker's image and vibe. That was a super tight band, back then , going through a (less profitable but) very respectable chapter (musically speaking) in KISSTORY. An era where they at least decided to rock the crap out of their early back catalogue again, play every fu*****' everywhere in the world they hadn't before (and beyond), and release a surprisingly excellent collection of really dark, hard hitting & hard rockin', trashy, loud tunes, and a strong hit like "God Gave Rock and Roll to You" to add the icing on the cake! Definitely the best non-make up KISS era for me. I'm not saying I didn't also enjoy the earlier non make-up eras, but KISS was a real band, (a really cool one again, and with a renewed sense of identity) during this rather grungy, but always rockin' and at times very metallic "Revenge Till Extinction" era ( as I like to call it... as sudden extinction is how it actually turned out to be, because this particular version of KISS was dissolved forever so Gene & Paul could do the 1996 Reunion tour with the original members -and that was fair enough too as it was already getting late for it!!!); Feeling and being a real band is not something they had quite managed to do for a long time back then. At least since Ace Frehley left the band pretty much a decade earlier. KISS were maybe not as hot as once had been, but at least were defo s*** hot again... and I was there!!!
The Hot in the Shade tour was one of the best KISS tours, in my opinion. They played over 2 hours and had great effects the entire show at least on the American tour. Paul's voice was also at it's peak during this era.
April 6 , 1992 was the first regular season game played at Camden Yards in Baltimore the Orioles beat Cleveland 2-0. That same night Kiss ( same tour) was playing at the legendary Hammerjacks. I made it through the game OK and my buds and I had a few hours to kill before Kiss. I figured a slow steady diet of cocaine and grain alcohol punch would sustain me through the concert ( it almost did!) I made it to my usual spot in front of the stage and remember Paul wearing a black T that said F**K on it ( spelled out) So cool. I was lucid and coherent and enjoying the show. About the 3rd song I felt this enormous hand on my shoulder and a bouncer said follow me ( I thought cool going backstage as I was totally plugged in with club mgmt) No such luck. The boys were escorting me to the exit. Shocked I asked why I was getting thrown out. ‘ You were stepping on people’s toes.’ I was like WTF? True story. I’m now 62 and 21 years sober and still enjoy live music. But now I leave when I’m good and ready.
ohhhh yeahhh.this was kiss kicking azzzzzz!makeup no make up.//////r.i.p. eric carr/////singer and kulick awesome players..kulick on unplugged...marvelous baby..paul ///baddest frontman.say what u will but paul is a true pro ..
The only thing I hear different in Singer's playing compared to Carr's is the tempo. Eric Carr played fast paced and Gene liked it. Singer plays the way Paul likes it.
This kiss concert intro was different than usual.where was the iconic "all right London!" Intro? Just asking..i get it change is good but I'm used to you know the usual.
Souns good in watever era, but don't like them using yhe sphnx back drop for the foreign dates on this tour instead of the statue of liberty. The sphinx was from Hot in the shade your and Eric Carrs last stand with the band baefore,he passed.
Your absolutely right. I seen kiss in London Ontario with Eric Carr for hot in the shade with the Sphinx. Then again in Toronto Ontario with Eric Singer for revenge with the statue of Liberty. I didn't realize they changed things up for different legs of the tour. Thanks for clarifying.
Robbie Miller yes, I was disappointed with this too. I came to this show in England expecting to see something new, and saw the Sphinx instead. Still, I enjoyed seeing Eric Singer for the second time in the same venue in a short space of time, as he just finished touring the UK with Alice Cooper.
You have to consider, not all venues are equally high. The venues in america are much often build higher than the venues in europe for example. At that time KISS was not selling out Arenas or Open Air by their own worldwide. So consider that the Revenge Tour set up maybe did not fit the venues in europe so they reworked the tour with the HITS Sphinx set up they already had.
lol How about we stop stealing other people’s videos of ISYL and Deuce from this show and find someone to leak the rest of the footage shot at this same angle
Bryan Thompson You're not kidding! While I expect Bruce to add his own flavor to the original solos I don't expect him to do something that is so unrecognizable that its nearly confusing at first listen ... not only that but it just flat out stunk
Solid performance however Eric over plays everything. good drummer but no real feel for the early stuff. And Bruce’s solos? Deuce was ok but I stole your live was terrible.
Imho Kulick does its work, but he has (maybe) the 10% of the musical and melodical gift of Ace. No match at all. Real good technic, but how much emptiness......
I agree. Bruce may be a much more accomplished musician than Ace, but Ace's playing was a better fit for Kiss. Ace's playing has more swagger and more soulful.
Paul's voice so strong here. Hair looked awesome too.
The absolute last era of Kiss that was worth seeing. Pauls vocals are great, Eric's playing energized the act. The set lists of this era had a great mix of classic and modern no makeup era songs. The glory days, so long ago
It’s all relative
I thought they still looked and sounded great in '04.Tommy nails every classic riff like it was laid down.
Now. R.I.P. Pauls voice.😔
I love this era of Kiss the most! I think "Revenge" is probably one of their best Albums! I'd love to see a "Revenge" reunion with all the great non Kiss Makeup songs and of course some Great early Makeup era songs as well. Love Alive III!!
How I wish Paul & Gene had gone back to this lineup after the reunion tour 😟
THIS AUDIO IS PERFECT!!! PLEASE... if you have the full show post it
Eric Singer brought life to the band from 91-95
Shahlan Saim i saw kiss with Eric Carr who was much better than singer on 🥁 by miles 👌bk in 87 on the crazy 😜 nights tour in England 🏴
@@stewartsanders7087 Eric Carr sucked live, he's a legend and I respect and love his legacy, but he was not half as good as Eric Singer is, both singing and playing
your a fkn idiot Eric carr was and still is the best drummer for kiss you numb skull
Steve Augro that would be Peter Criss you stupid fuck
Steve Augro if you think Eric Carr was the best drummer you are deaf 😂😂
When Singer played the way I wish he played today !
I love eric's playing during this era. Very heavy, playing double kick fills... amazing... better than ever
Gene looked absolutely badass during this period & Paul always had the coolest guitars!

They looked great, they sounded great, fuck i miss this kiss
I WISH I had seen KISS on this tour. Wow, what a performance 👏👏👏
This era of kiss was simply down to business no bullshit hard rockin.
what a powerfull voice is something great hear Paul Stanley singing in those years I think there were in a great moment thanks for uploading!
OUT Standing!!!!!!
KISS at their mighty heaviest!

This particular concert was the beginning of their 1992 Revenge Tour, but your point is well taken about the HITS tour. Both tours were great!
Absolutely
OMG Bruce is Soo good 🥂

i was there. this was the best concert ever. thank you 4 uploading:)
The Lick It Up tour was great, but this is the best non-makeup tour they ever did!!!
This is Kiss at their absolute best.
My favorite KISS era!
I remember 92 eight years old and just memorized by kiss
My first KISS concert !!
I saw them at the NEC arena in Birmingham on that same tour , they were fucking excellent !!
One of my all time favorite bands. Kiss alive 1 awesome. Thanks guys rock on
Fantastic !!!!
Bruce at his most animated!
(Never liked when the KISS logo wasnt lit in the background)
The end of the road tours that NEVER ends!
Thanks for posting!!!
KISS THE BEST
That was BAD ASS!!!!
¡Best era!
いい曲でした。
Phenomenal...
If you listen carefully, you can notice the synthesizer on the background
Nicolas Pentray yeah I mean it’s only going off for the whole intro lol
Wish I was there..

hey matt, i was at that show, it was fantastic
Please, the full video :D
Found it interesting how KISS sent the Hot In The Shade Tour set overseas for the Revenge dates there.
Cause nobody gave a shit about the statue of liberty over seas
Rockin!
I always I want to see the KISS logo behind them
BEST TIME AND BEST LINE UP
Maisterpiece!!!!!!!
Unreal.
Paul so frickin hot here love them without make up but also just as much with
Fuck yes, this rocks
No fake hair and no fake Frehleys.
Both Paul and Gene have fake hair here.
The only thing I hear different in Singer's playing compared to Carr's is the tempo. Eric Carr played fast paced and Gene liked it. Singer plays the way Paul likes it.
Both drummers are great. But Singer is a bit tighter and the hits are bigger. Sounds heavier
Eric Singer also came from playing on Paul's late eighties solo tour - so that could be why.
It's heavier because Paul is actually playing rhythm, nowadays he is to busy posing
This kiss concert intro was different than usual.where was the iconic "all right London!" Intro? Just asking..i get it change is good but I'm used to you know the usual.
What the fuck solo was that during I stole your love...?
わたしの個人預言。奇跡を信じなさい。手が強くなってます。主は、シオンから叫んでいます。あなたは、求めなさい。敵をちらします。
2:08
I love this lineup. Only flaw is that Bruce isn't playing Ace's solos note for note. That's a no no
Paul was 40 here - he looks friggin HOT - dare I say, as a man myself
What's up with the Big Floating Head?
Souns good in watever era, but don't like them using yhe sphnx back drop for the foreign dates on this tour instead of the statue of liberty. The sphinx was from Hot in the shade your and Eric Carrs last stand with the band baefore,he passed.

It was because the sphinx was already over sees at the time they didn't have the money like they do now they was still in a bus at this time
They even used the sphynx in 1994 on Argentina.

I've never seen this angle nor video from the London, Ontario show in 1990. The '92 label throws me off.
Whole different country KISStard.
ACE THE ONLY GUITARISTE OF KISS (THE BEST)
lol How about we stop stealing other people’s videos of ISYL and Deuce from this show and find someone to leak the rest of the footage shot at this same angle
Solo on Stole Your love really sucked by Bruce
Bryan Thompson Couldnt agree more with you.
Bryan Thompson You're not kidding! While I expect Bruce to add his own flavor to the original solos I don't expect him to do something that is so unrecognizable that its nearly confusing at first listen ... not only that but it just flat out stunk
They played it totally wrong. Paul starts the solo and Bruce is supposed to finish. That's how Paul and Ace did it live and in the studio.
Well done. But you're married with a real Beauty and you was meant for my sister. She is much more hotter then me!
Solid performance however Eric over plays everything. good drummer but no real feel for the early stuff. And Bruce’s solos? Deuce was ok but I stole your live was terrible.
Wow, i never realized how much they used keyboards . WAY too loud in the mix.
Aces solo is MUCH better than this !!!!!!!
Imho Kulick does its work, but he has (maybe) the 10% of the musical and melodical gift of Ace. No match at all. Real good technic, but how much emptiness......
I agree Bruce is a GREAT PLAYER, and technically better than Ace,but I still prefer Ace's solos.
@@jettpeters3470 I totally agree! Ciao from Italy

@@jettpeters3470 Ace's playing is much more from the heart and gut.
That is not Ace and Peter. And I cannot sanction their buffoonery. This kiss sucks.
That has to be the worst solo I've ever heard from Bruce
Bruce is Really Good 👍🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
