actually even if he's defeated everytime, he never died, in the lore Bowser is a powerful wizard who knows black magic (probably he was taught by Kamek) and he is likely immortal. In fact he can survive even simply as a skeleton (Dry Bowser). And he cast this kind of necromantic magic on some of his Koopas too (Dry Bones)
He also got sucked up by a black hole

@@TheGreatUnknownProductions Lorewise, I highly doubt that they only work on protagonists, I mean if it only worked on humans and Toad's that would make sense, but I reckon Bowser uses them too. Just like how, gameplay wise in smm2, like even if like a thwomp or Bowser happens to hit a pow block, they as well as all other enemies die but the player doens't, but that is obviously gameplay mechanics... (but I like to joke that it's lore too so that if POW Blocks existed irl then I would use them and if someone was being really annoying like they would just get effected too 😈) [Joke]

Bowser is perhaps the greatest character in fiction for not only repeatedly and canonically dying multiple times over 36 years, many of those deaths being quite brutal, but also never giving up on his goal and barely changing his tactics every time. Bowser’s body might be mortal, but his determination and ignorance are everlasting.

TBH, I don’t think Bowser did die during the ending of Mario Odyssey. He was definitely just left on the moon after Mario, Peach, Cappy and Tiara escaped, and had to wait for someone like Bowser Jr. or Kamek so that he could escape

I forgot about how wholesome they made the ending to Mario Odyssey. Mario and Bowser really acting like their brothers who have a love hate relationship and peach not only rejects both of them but straight up steals Mario's vehicle and tries to abandon them. Probably the most personality we got out of them in a while. Kind of reminds me of the ending to Luigi's mansion too.

Super Mario galaxy has to be his most gruesome “death”. He not only gets smacked in the face 6 times, he burns up falling into a star, drowns in lava, sinks into lava then gets blown up by a super nova. And this guy still can’t be mario?!

@@vados8500 Also sometimes Bowser just respawns, he can respawn all the time, just like Mario, and I think Mario respawning is canon rather than just starting the level over since like there arelives and 1UP mushrooms, and if Mario, Luigi the toads and even the princess has that power, it's obviously just a whole big canon thing for inhabitants of the Mushroom Universe, and like of course in Level Up animations and that when it focuses on another character like a goomba or something, they have lives and yeah, so Bowser probably can respawn too, that's just a thing in the Mario Universe.

If that was true toads wouldn't have died from the shroobs and Mario and Luigi wouldn't have thought they accidentally killed Wiggler in paper jam,1-up mushrooms can only heal you if your unconcious or seriously injured but it can't revive you from death.
Bowser never truly dies people he always survives his defeats no matter what happens so stop lying about that.

- Had his Bad Dub Hot Tub vacation ruined by Mario and F.L.U.D.D.
- His own galaxy committing suicide
- Had meteors smacked into him by Mario, which sent him careening into a black hole
- Sucked into a black hole (or something of the sort) on numerous occasions
- Revived by Bowser Jr, only to have them both plummet to their deaths
- Had his castle blow up the moment he recovered from Cackletta's possession, resulting in him literally breaking the fourth wall
- Beaten by the Mario Bros and their baby counterparts as Shrowser
- Got Bonked by two boulders as he fell into lava
- Had his sweet new ride blow up in his face twice, one of which resulted in him falling in lava
- Stood on a massive POW Block which resulted in him being sent flying into the sky before exploding into fireworks
- Had the power of pinball used against him
- Had his Koopa Klown Car shot out of the sky; the resulting explosion sending him flying
- Swung around by his tail then thrown into bombs surrounding his star-shaped arena
- Had his entire castle fall on top of him, his kid and the Koopalings
- Beaten by Giant Dreamy Luigi twice
- Defeated by the Mario Bros with the might of the Dreamstone before being batted away by their hammers
- Teamed up with his paper counterpart, only to be defeated by the Mario Bros + Paper Mario after becoming Shiny RoboBowser. His paper counterpart was later sealed back into the book.
- Smacked into the sky by Princess Peach and her trusty Parasol
- Had Bowser Jr's Koopa Klown Car commandeered by Mario, which he used to slam into the giant Koopa King's head
- Shot to death by the Superscope
- Had four Yoshis throw eggs at him simultaneously
- Beaten at tennis, despite using the power of a legendary Tennis racket.
- Traveled through time only to be beaten by Yoshi and his massive and/or metallic eggs
- Turned himself into blocks only to be beaten up by Mario before getting crushed by his own Blocks
- Had his intimidating tank blow up before being defeated as Dry Bowser
- Failed to stop Mario's mobile app marathon
- Rode a giant Bowser robot, only for it to blow up in his face
- Overpowered by Paper Mario sacrificing Kersti, despite harnessing the full power of the last Royal Sticker
- Took a bath in Black Paint only to have his new paintjob ruined by Mario and Huey
- Defeated by Giga Cat Mario in an epic battle between two giants
- Tried to keep Mario from using the Giga Cat Bells against him after losing his Fury Bowser form, only to be beaten by a belly flop courtesy of Giga Cat Plessie
- Had his meticulously planned wedding crashed by the pesky Italian plumber. This was later followed by both him and Mario being denied a chance to get together with Princess Peach. And, to add insult to injury, he was soon left on the moon by Mario, Peach and both of their Bonneter companions
