Beautifully captured video and audio. Bravo! Best southern rock group in existence. They're incredibly versatile, having mastered rock, blues, and reggae. And they're so humble and willing to teach others. I love Gov't Mule.
Anytime Warren is on stage, it will be a memorable night. He is the master, and maybe the new, Bless you James Brown, hardest working man in show business. Just wish he and the Mule would come back to the front range again soon. Red Rocks is so over due!
Warren Haynes is such a terrific and beautiful musician, I have so much respect for all these guys. If you are a musician, I think its impossible to not like these guys. I'm relatively new to the Mule caravan, having only moved the Planet of the Abts about 5 years ago.
It's a Baritone. Saw him in St Pete FL about a month ago. He had it and used it on Tragedy there too. On the Set List it was refereed to as "Barry Tone"
OK - when Warren breaks a string at "30:13", he switches to a BEAUTIFUL Les Paul. I believe this is his Drop D LP, but does anyone know the name of the burst on that guitar? Gorgeous...Thx
Sam... i believe its tobacco burst or somewhere in the middle custom. But also notice the complete control and professionalism ... does not miss a beat! Saw them in VA a while back .... had some issues on stage then too... walked right through them in 4/4 time if you know what I mean! He is an all around performer in every aspect of the word. I believe underrated as well.
+Bobby Bailey excellent - thanks! Yes I'm a VA boy myself; one of my first great concert experiences was being front row, elbows on the stage for Mule at the Charlottesville Pavilion. Great venue, unbelievable show. Warren is all that is right about great rock n roll of today!
that guitar swap out is some pro-shit going on there...from the roadie quickly getting WH a replacement, to WH fine tuning while singing the line and getting back in the mix. nice work
This is Charleston , SC ?? I mean it's Govt. Mule , people ......... that the best attendance you could offer ? I guess the yuppie population would rather see Mumford & Sons or some other shit .....
