- The first official Bandai Gashapon store has finally opened in the Philippines. My bf and I visited Mitsukoshi Mall in BGC to try out the machines. We also did a mini haul and unboxing of the items we got.

The prices are insane, is it worth it?
Honestly, I don't think they are, considering the items inside are smaller than other Gashapon items I got abroad. I think the price of the token is high because of the brand (Bandai) and the location (Expensive mall in BGC).
Ive been there 3 days ago, there was only a few kinds to choose from unfortunately… all the gundam and disney collectibles were out of stock. But nonetheless, i still had a fun experience

Yes I saw some Sanrio items.
650 pesos for three plastic Japanese junks.
Definitely think the price of the token should be reduced. I guess you can say you’re also paying for the experience? Like in arcade or carnival games. At least you get something each time? It’s also located in an expensive mall so the rent would be higher and owner probably paid franchising fees also??
Definitely caters to a niche market. Those who like anime/ japanese stuff and miniature stuff.
