I just picked up an Ebonite Thunderbolt Power Core. I'm 59 and this ball used to be one of my favorites in the 80's. I can't believe I found one that was undrilled! Getting it punched out in the 26th on this month (February).
Started bowling league again after a long layoff, so I was using an old Track Xception 5.0 and a C300 Wild RGR. Still use the Xception in league since I'm very comfortable with it and still score well when I do so.
Oldest ball I currently have is a Motiv VIP ExJ. Funny enough I just got my idol helios delivered to me, very excited to get it drilled up. Sounds like exactly what I’m looking for, I love to play the straighter angles
My bag currently has a Helios, Altered Reality and a Zen Soul. I have others that are weaker in my other bag in the storage room just in case but 90% of the time I'm throwing my Zen Soul. Bought all 3 of these as soon as they were released so thinking about replacing the Helios with this new TNT. Oh...and I'm a lefty that plays up 5...lol

I recently bought the Idol Helios and gladly I got it before it got discontinued. I also bought the 900 Global Dark Moss for once the lane transitions. I can't wait to try them out. My oldest ball in my bag is the Brunswick Igniter Solid. It's my first ball and still carry it in me for safe keeping because you never know.

My oldest ball is actually the Idol Pro. Which is basically the TNT. Much closer than the idol hellos. Which I actually am thinking about getting the TNT since the Idol Pro was great for me.

I bought the TNT and yes I'm the beginning you need to have patience with this ball but once you get comfortable and know how to throw it is a freakin beast and the pin action you get from this ball is amazing I love the TNT
Honestly just bowled tonight throwing the OG Virtual Gravity and the Invasion. Shot my first 800 with an 802 (268, 279, 255) with the pair. Unfortunately it was on a fun unsanctioned league...just my luck.
I have a Storm Frantic and a Storm Rocket Ship that are both phenomenal. The frantic hooks hard and I have to throw from far left, but it’s been a great addition. I’ll have to polish my TNT and see how it reacts for me!
My oldest is actually a helios played a hundred games or better since October. I am thinking of replacing with a phase 2 and getting a phaze 5 or fate to ball down to. Been bowling since August of last year average went from 90 to 160 with the helios and hustle USA . And watching your videos and Brad and Kyle on you tube.

Although I didn’t have it since release, I actually got it recently. I have a Hammer Epidemic from 2011 that I throw from time to time. I also have the first 4 ebonite missions (OG, 2.0, 250k, X) sitting on ball cups on my dresser.
I will still use some of my stuff from the 90s on house shots if I am having a rough time. I have a blue hammer, 3-D maxxx, and a Synergy ETS. I used the ETS a couple of weeks ago as I was having such a hard time on the fresh before they started to break down. I am a higher speed more direct player and even the new stuff is too much to get a good punch. All of my newer stuff I have had to change the surface one way or the other to make them work for me.
Just retired my Ebonite Gyro from the 70s. Took 35 years off. The TNT looks really sweet. I'll probably look at that and the Eternity for my next investment.
You really drove home how it was too early out of the box. May I suggest showing a few of the shots with the OOB surface so the viewer can see how it rolls OOB, and then continue on with the shine added. Just my .02, you guys do great work, much appreciated
Hey, how many kidneys do I have to donate to get a magenta Idol? I'm 54 years old and have been bowling leagues for 40 years. Few years off for a spine reconstruction. I changed a few things and had my first 300 in November. Two weeks later, a 288 and last week my second 300. I love the idol, but mine is beat to hell. Sure could use a replacement! Oldest ball I have an original light blue hammer and an anaconda!
