Remember listenng to this in my early 20s, just a college student with big dreams and my entire life in front of me. Listening to it this morning as a man of 58 who has come to the full realization that life is certainly finite. Will always love this song and the couple of times I've watched Bob sing it!
What a lovely song but a big tear jerker i watched max the other night and herd for ever young at the end. And I cried my eyes out. Every old song has a meaning to it
I'm so sorry for the grief you live with, Bridgette. I know that pain too. So many years ago and hardly the day goes by when I don't think of things I should have said. Rather than dwelling on the hurt, try to be grateful for the special time you had together and the love you shared. It helps, most of the time. Maybe our dads are friends in heaven.

What's the strumming pattern for this... anyone know x
I am not a huge fan of predetermined stunning patterns. Just start with something simple that works and then go from there

John Lennon would have loved this song.

Maybe this should be called Jakob’s Song.
Telling someone to stay forever young or to live for ever could be a blessing or a curse. I wonder if bob considered this
Can't stand his voice, but his songs are fine.
His voice is apart of all his songs
glad you approve of the lyrics of a man whose lyrics are studied in universitieslol
Thanks for approving "songs", can you please define what is a " SONG"? Boss are you among we earthlings? Weird
Love his voice ❤
