I've had the mini Praxis for a couple of months now. It really is a good choice. The only thing I would change is the oversized finger choil. I'd rather have a little more cutting edge. Super knife for not much money. Might have to try the full size version.
I'm in several knife groups on Facebook.... back when i had a few high end knifes anyway i remember seeing a lot of civill knifes AMF nothing but good things said about them... well after about 4 yrs i finally got one in today(09/28/2023) and like it a lot.... mines is D2 steel and i also got the smaller one, I'll see how it holds up before i invest in a more expensive model

It really is a good choice. I do sometimes wish the actual blade was a little longer like you said but I use the full length praxis at those times.

Yea I don’t blame ya. They have that titanium civivi praxis on kaviso that I want to check out
the larger praxis has better blade steel right
In my opinion I like the d2 on the mini praxis better. Harder to sharpen but retains an edge better.
D2 steel
To complete the review, there is not enough knife test, and how it cuts food, and something hacky, such as a cable, wood or a postal parcel...
Should I buy it
Absolutely. Either or a great budget knives just depending on what size you prefer.
