As one of the devs for this... Totally legally distinct game. I really appreciate you making a video on it.
Development is kinda on a halt as of now and the game's pretty buggy because of the crisis happening that's shot down most of the motivation the devs had for the game but, if by a sheer miracle the game stays up, it'll probably slowly pick up the pace with bug fixes and the like. For now we're mostly focusing on adding a new Kaiju (and bullying the owner into making bug fixes) so that's gonna come probably soon. Also, we fully know that this isn't how copyright works. But hey, we didn't exactly have a choice as it was either that or shutdown, so we're taking our chances.
Pro tips:
-T roar gives you super armor which means you don't take knockback or stuns and you can cancel it with another attack at any point to use to your advantage (you'll still take the damage tho so use it wisely).
-Some Kaiju have "rage bars" which are yellow bars next to your HP and shield stamina bar and that can be charged while fighting to use special moves (IE: Nuclear Dinosaur had a special attack at 1500 rage using X).
-Most Kaiju's X abilities are unique to them, some even having extremely unique effects like Lance Angel which makes all your attacks heal you but deal less damage or Ultimate Cataclysm which creates a massive arena if you have more than 4000 rage when using it (otherwise it'll create a mist that deals damage), experiment to find out which ones work the best for you.
-The style meter on the right of your screen actually increases the amount of G-Tokens you gain from fighting (see the small multiplier next to the GT logo above your HP), so the better you play the more you're rewarded.
-Attacks that make your character shine red are blockbreak attacks that go past block, they're generally slower than others but deal more damage. You can use T roar to avoid being stunned by them (do note that some attacks have multiple hitboxes and only one of those hitboxes actually blockbreaks, altho that's only a thing with Legendary Titan and Lance Angel).
-If someone who you did the most damage to dies, you'll regain a major portion of your HP.
Honestly, you were pretty good for a new player. Always appreciated to see content creators reaching past the Journalism level of skill. On that note, who knows if the game'll stay up and who knows if you'll make other videos on it but you're always welcome to do so, thanks a lot for the showcase and compliments (and also for not leaking the current name it has and using our original name, heavily appreciated) !

I'm glad to see you playing this awesome "monster" game on roblox! I have some tips for you just in case you see this comment
1. Some of the 1,2,3,4 attacks are guard breaks which if the enemy is blocking will break their guard and do regular damage to them. Do tell if they're guard breaks by the red flashing it does when you press the move. You can also use this to your advantage to see if an enemy is using a guard break move or not so you can possibly get out of the way. Also if the kaiju you're using has a charge attack you can use that to get out of harms way and come back when its safe to attack again.
2. The blue bar is your blocking meter, the more you block the more you meter goes down and it can also go down even faster depending on how much your enemy is attacking you or not.
3. Some kaiju have what's called a "Rage" meter which is the yellow bar you seen on the right side of your health and block bar. For some kaiju in order to use your ultimate or your "X" your rage meter needs to be filled to a certain point. Also some ultimate's changes depending on how much rage you have (Ultima's for example). You can fill this meter by dealing damage to enemy monsters.
4. Some monsters moves like Nuclear Dinosaur (Heisei Godzilla) beam changes depending on how much rage you have from the regular beam to your spiral ray. It also affects Heisei's X which I won't spoil what it is.
5. Block EVERYTHING. Its obvious that blocking is important but if you block the enemies attack it can leave them open for you to do a counter attack.
Like I said I'm glad to see you playing this game and can't wait to see you play it again! (unless it gets taken down)

hey beaver just a tip, you can actually use left click again after the first attack for a mini combo type thingy, also try shift-lock as it makes combat easier for some people

Hey James! A good tip for ya! You can use control lock to help you with your aim. Its especialy helpfull when using your X move with Gojira. (Aka Nuclear Ancestor). It allows you to change direction before shooting. And it allows you to spread the shot a bit more!

Hold shift to run but if ur lazy press Z and it will autorun so u don't have to hold shift

Beaver it was good that you had fun playing this game but i highly recommend in the game, you should try playing as the magma mutant, its pretty fun to use as well, its 1st attack is a close combat headbutt, its 2nd is a spin dash, 3rd attack is a roll, and its 4th is a long kick that can break an guard, its beam is a fire blast and its ultimate is a flaming floor, its pretty fun to use and I highly advise you to try it.
3rd time commenting: Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee has been a long time favorite game for me as a fan of Godzilla. If you’re looking for another kaiju game to play I definitely recommend it. It’s an older game, coming out on game cube in 2002 and Xbox in 2003, but it does have a 12 kaiju roster, and a campaign. It has other gameplay modes and a bunch of different maps with day and night variants. Also it supports up to a 4 player local multiplayer.
Beaver I’m really experienced in this game I can give you many tips like you can use control lock which is ctrl on your key board to aim your attacks like Gojiras x attack. And the second Godzilla you played as is Heisei Godzilla the third era of Godzilla.

@@wiili22well that would be fine, but if you've been keeping up with current events, Godzilla has surpassed Goku a long time ago starting with Godzilla in Hell, he doesn't even need dragon balls, he just wills himself back to life. currently Godzilla stands on a level of his own that not many beings are able to achieve. As a Godzilla fan, watching him stomp all them plebs all those supermans and all those Gokus is just a massive joy. It's about time he shows the world why he's called GODzilla.

Honestly the combat and animation look better than the other game to me and the destruction of the city with the fire and explosions is much more satisfying, I’m not a big kaiju fan I’ve never really watched those movies but I might give this game a shot looks fun

And also another tip whenever you’re using a kaiju that has bars like heisei Godzilla legendary titan EVA 01 mecha titan ultima and Sachiel you need to increase the bar in order to get the x move

I like how it turned from Kaiju Arisen to Vibe Hotel To Monstess Game. Did the developer change his name or something I don’t remember arigami or someting aka the developer. Well I guess that’s cause I haven’t played KA in a while. And they changed the name of the kaijus to avoid copyright. Kaiju Arisen is the last kaiju game we can play.

A note for you James, with Heisei Godzilla (the one you were playing with for most the video) if you get your yellow bar over 2000 you can press X and do a pulse which deals a TON of damage
You actually only need to hit 1500 to use the pulse.

honestly to be an fan since i was like 3 years old it is amazing how far you have come. also btw this is an new acc so dont you dare think that im an 1 year old..
beaver, quick tip, if you press ctrl, you can lock your screen and in my opinion, it makes the game easier.
(also you should totally play Jurassic Blocky, its another roblox game)
i recomend you using shift lock so you can aim things for example when you are using gojira you can move the block that you throw and i also recomend getting obsidous(aka magma dude) or maybe blade face (aka knifehead)

GET BEAVER TO SEE THIS: You have to play Gigabash! It's a 4 player kaiju fighting game, and it's super fun! It has a similar combat to the kaiju game Destroy All Monsters, and I think you and Whitney would have a blast playin it!

If the multitude of um, nuclear dinosaur games, ever go back up, you should play project kaiju. It's a combat game with combos and such, steep learning curve but very fun.
Finally you played it and ctr for block
I recommend saving up for the lava rock monster (obsidius)then the green robot or the weird little bird guy with the long arms (Sachiel) or ultimate catalyst (Godzilla Ultima the one with the long tail)then go for shining construct 0-1 (Eva 0-1), Mecha titan (mg21), or legendary titan (MV Godzilla) but you can go any way you want

Here are some tips press the one attack 2 times or the one that makes you stomp and not the one that stomps and throw rocks the other one that does a stomp do it twice and use roar 2 to avoid being attacked or stunned use shift lock “control” button and use LC. Funny enough there's another older game called dinosaur simulator which added the indominus rex in their game, but changed the name to ablino terror when pokemon brick bronze and the other pokemon games got closed for copyright. I think the name change is fine, but make it feel impactful based on the kajiu your desiging.
Also a tip for every kajiu game, you could use the concept art for all the different kajiu to then name them accordingly so people know which kajiu your talking about.
