Leo was meta for the better part of a year and a half, and Rainbow is an S tier support unit. Two very solid choices for a new player.

As a veteran player who has been playing since season 1 my first biggest recommendation is that you should always buy the battle pass, it's around 6 dollars and it's always worth it for what you get out of it, yeah this game is super fun, every season now they've consistently added 2 new characters aswell, I would love to see this turn into a series

I loved this game, near early 2023 I had deleted it because of storage issues. But I nearly had all the Kaiju I was only missing like two, and had been playing since it was launched.
I 100% agree its been amazing how much content we've been getting ever since it came out
Tho one thing it lacks is data storage they really need to add a way to save your data.
@@juanignaciomesiasmolina7977 you can save your data, I have an android and all I needed to do was link my Google play account to it, plus in game you can create a code so that if for any reason your game gets deleted you just use that code and immediately get it back

Also beaver you gotta add your other 4 Star units like Minus One, Burning Godzilla and Mothra Leo to your team, it'll boost your team significantly

As someone who has been playing this game since day one, this is easily the best mobile godzilla game. The amount of kaijus in this game awesome, and is very addicting. Once you start you can’t stop. I practically have ever kaiju in the game and I am still having a lot of fun. The game also constantly giving you crystals makes it very easy to unlock kaiju. Hope beaver continues playing this game.
do you know how to play the game without battle pass?
@@8h7nn6tttytgvvg4 Just play the game. I have only bought one pass which was for monsterverse godzilla. I basically live off of the gifts the game gives you as they give you a lot of crystals. Also events and the expeditions that allow you to choose what kaiju you want to unlock.
How can i unlock kamen rider ?
The minus one godzilla you got is essentially a pseudo-leader as he doesn't move but he does a lot of damage and the shinden has an ability that makes other units target it so it's good to use it to give you an opening or a break but it only works on units that can hit flying units, to see who would get affected by this look at where it shows you the units stats as in there it tells you what units go for what, you should also level up anguirus as he is really defensive and if you have a way to heal him (e.g. psychic chorus, fire rodan and/or mothra imago's leader ability) that's a good way to stall
We need more Battle Line, it is sooooo much more fun the better you get as you unlock more complex monsters and strategies. It’s also incredibly free to play friendly at all ranks.

@@zmaster3982 you can’t unfortunately, he’s part of the Shin Japanese Hero’s Universe collab that ended a few months ago. However, if the collab ever comes back you will be able to unlock him again.

@@zmaster3982 yes, the Godzilla vs Kong units have come and gone multiple times. In fact, the Godzilla x Kong season is most likely arriving in three to four days, and with it the GvK units will almost certainly come back.
You should have a look at the Minecraft mod “prehistoric nature” it has over 800 prehistoric animals from the pre-cambrian all the way to the Jurassic at the moment the Jurassic is still being worked on so yea but they are going until the present day the creatures are as accurate as they can be within the restrictions of Minecraft and they will update animals and there models if new research comes out on them with noticeable differences
i'm one of the veteran players who played the game since day 1 and I am happy to see that you're playing Battle Line. It's fun but it can be very strategic. My advice to you when it comes to this game, just have fun with it. Each monster has its own unique abilities that can benefit a strategy you wish to play. The roster is growing every month so you'll get new featured units and it's currently large with familiar faces like Kong, Gamera, Ultraman, and more. And, yes, each month will have a meta and any unit will likely break that meta

1989 godzilla is one of the strongest units in the game, that and 1993 mechagodzilla, level them up before anyone else early one and they can 1-2 shot leaders once you get them leveled up. levels matter more than size, so dont be scared of godzilla earth, if hes low level he isnt hard to take down. Burning godzilla blows up and does damage to nearby enemy players when he dies, so send him in to wipe out group units. i recommend sending the missiles to the leaders, just chip away at their health. your strategy, but i just thought id leave some tips for you

Although when you level him up more (and get higher up in the ranks) he’s much better as a leader due to his ability to buff 5+ energy units
Not really this season, the chibi duo can easily stun lock and kill them for only 4 cost
These two are good early game but fall off quickly. I would not recommend it.
Hey beaver if you have any questions about this game there’s a youtuber named sir melee who uploads daily about the game. He also runs a discord server for the game with a ton of the top players
Unfortunately, just as many of the top players are toxic as are actually pleasant to talk to. They love to flex on people they battle for playing non-meta units and "giving out free wins." Like any pvp game, this community is pretty dog water, but there ARE some good people playing, and Melee is one of them.
Great to see beaver finally playing GBL, hopefully it becomes a series and we get to watch him improve and rage in good fun.
P.S. Use Bomber, Stealth Bomber is meta

Megaguirus is also S tier, she can completely halt people from pushing to give time to stop them, plus she isn’t expensive to deploy!

I have been playing this game since last July and I really enjoy it. When you fight in the arena, you are actively fighting another person. Also, when you get higher up, that is when you start to need more strategy.
Its great to see Beavs enjoy the game.
Just some tips for you to help you start out.
-Read the "introduction" it help explains what a unit does.
-Some units can evolve is certain things are met, such as the unit surviving a set time or dying a set amount of times.
-You can see if they can evolve based on the Green Arrow symbol that its will have, there is a blue crown one for leaders.
-Not all units can be leaders and each leader has different leader ablitys, for example Godzilla 1989 fires his Heat Ray and boost 5+ energy cost units damage output for 15 secs, Rainbow Mothra on the other hand gives all alllies in the circle a shield that protects them from damage until they take a certain number of hits.
-The number next to the kaiju is their energy cost.
-Make your team a mix of low and high cost units, you can see the average unit cost of your team in the deck tab.
Some units can only target certain unit types, for example Godzilla 1989 and Angruis 1955 cannot attack flying units (unless they have the low flying statis effect) and Gigan 1972 and Stealth Bomber ignore all units and rush straight to the leader.
-Some units have Ult attacks if the condition is met, take advantage of these, for example Shin Godzilla normally has a slow single target tail beam attack, but if a flyer is his target he gets a quick AoE back beam attack, or Mothra Leo normally fires a short-mid range lazer but if no enemies enter attacking range for a brief period he switchs to a charge attack and flys down the field really fast, then headbutt a target for 2x damage if not stopped.
-You can not lose Trophies until you hit "Champion Rank" you also cannot fall below Champion and at the end of each season will be sent down the tiers.
-Don't worry about a loss to bad, 1 win is equal to 2 losses.
-You will face a mix of players and bots, if you start to get a lose streak the game will give you a bot for an easy win, you will face more bots then players at the low levels.
-Team synergy is more important then having strong units 80% of the time.
Thats all I can think of right now, if you need more tips check out "Sir Melee: Godzilla Battle Line Guides" yt channel, his videos were a great help when I was starting out.
beaver here's a tip for the next time you play your four star monsters are the strongest kaiju rank in the game so always have them in your deck. Hope this becomes a series this is fun to watch.

I love Beaver in his Godzilla phase, considering I am a Godzilla fan myself.
Beaver if you’re gonna play this game pls add Shinrin (the plane from Minus one) into your deck that plane is by far the best support unit in the game.
It has two immunity hit points and makes any nearby enemy units focus fire on it whilst your monsters attack the enemy.
And use the Fire Godzilla in the deck he a strong damage dealer that’ll do a devastating self destruction ability when killed. The explosion will be larger and greater the longer he’s alive in the field.

This is a fun one. It’s pretty grindy and some units are kinda annoying, but it’s never truly unfair
Btw, I would recommend using 4 stars, and also looking at how they are supposed to be used. Some units specialize in certain situations, like Kamacuras are excellent body blockers and meat sheilds, and Ang is good as a tank for something more powerful like Godzilla 89

It’s kinda crazy, I’ve been watching beaver since 2015 back when I was 10. Crazy I’ve basically grown up watching him. I’m abt to graduate high school and I js came here to js say thanks for being so consistent thru the years w the content. I remember coming home after school and waiting to see a new beaver video 😭 sounds kinda dumb but it’s so crazy I’ve literally grown up watching u. But yea. In the store you can buy bundles for G-stones, like for example you could buy a bundle for 2000 G-stones and get 50K G-tokens, high-tier expedition maps, and other stuff too. I would highly recommend the bundles that have the Ariake expedition map, as it has a chance of Destoroyah (Ariake ver.), which is a VERY strong unit, and the Chibi duo, who are also pretty strong. You have 5K G-stones, so I would recommend you buy that. Also the emotes are in the white chat box with the 3 buttons by your special ability!
Great video James, I do want to mention that kaiju arisen has got a update! Jet jaguar beta and legendary Godzilla are finished with new moves and features. Hope you check it out

Game's great, just be aware the mid to upper mid ranks are VERY hard... its where you start playing bad players with good high level units that will just wreck your under leveled team. keep at it though and on high rank it tends to even out a bit. Keep leveling up your units and pay attention to their stats and abilities, see how they compliment the rest of your team and you'll enjoy this game a ton
I just started playing and then am in silver rank and it only gets harder as you go through it but good luck and it is definitely fun thank you for finding this game for me I am a huge Godzilla fan and this beats everyone that I've played so far
Yeah grinding on the game is extremely fun. And I am glad that it isn’t such a high quality game because the amount of detail is perfect for the type of game it is.

Hey beav, just wanted you to know that i love your vids. About those 4 stars you chose from those maps, rainbow mothra is good at any level, she grants a free hit in invincibility to anything around her on spawn. Mothra leo is okay, but he starts charging to the enemy side after three seconds of not attacking, granting a large amount of damage on charging hit. Minus one (Ginza) you put him down, and he will shoot heat rays at the enemy leader from your side. Hes super helpful for earlier ranks.

Yeah, for your roster matchup, you'll have to scroll down to see everything that you have vs your deck. And for a good strategic battle you'll want to look at 'introduction' which is accessible in the same way you upgrade them (at 15:36 you glanced at it during the time you were looking at one of your kaijus), it'll tell you what they do exactly both for unit and and captain (if it has the option). It will help a lot.

The yellow numbers on a battlepiece is their energy cost. I would also suggest reading the unit introductions to learn how the units work. Additionally, you got so much stuff because TOHO is celebrating -1’s Oscar win.

I just got the game, like an hour ago cause I saw it was available. I got godzilla minus one(the one that snipes the leader), burning goji level 4, godzilla and mecha goji duo chibi, destroyah, and shin godzilla. I’m so happy. Watching godzilla minus one absolutely one or two shot the leaders brings me feelings of happiness I didn’t once have in a mobile game.

Pro tip: Rapidly tapin duting the expedition map thing, and markalite cannon is a defense unit, so just put it in front of your leader, if you have any questions, just ask me, I'm a veteran😅
Btw when you are new in rank battle it kind to you but the more you get better the more tougher the rival gets
