Snapper fishing with Soft-bait - Coromandel Peninsula NZ

I head out with 'the old kayak master' Laurie Pottinger to experience some of what the eastern Coromandel Islands have to offer. The goal was to learn more about the technique and to take a couple fresh Snapper home on my final day.

That day we threw back every fish bar two, cool to be selective and just take a couple back home.

Looks like a black magic 7"6 rods, they are quite stiff if you like to strike the fish
