Fitness comes with being professional athletes. Hopefully a little more funding for the ladies, like a local womens competition and broadcasting.
It will also help them on some of the technical aspects. The slipped a few tackles from poor techniques. Coaching can fix.
But I fear a long way off without investment.

The aforementioned brigade speaks as though the pre 90s Springboks were not shaped by politics, while bitching about so called "quotas". The whole Springboks team before the 2000s, was a quota team by those standards. If it wasn't a problem then, shut up about it now.

They're there to ensure that talented players of colour get the fair shake that EXCLUSIONARY quotas denied them of. My prior point was the hypocrisy of seeing political involvement being wrong now that it doesn't benefit your mates. That doesn't necessarily mean that it is in fact wrong, that's just your opinion. I support present quotas because they facilitate the promotion of previously disadvantaged individuals rather than simply stifling individuals because a certain group of people feels like they're better.

Rugby is game for everyone. As a former player, it hurts when us here in Fiji when you belittle them. We live in a messed up world but the least we could do is love and support them. Rugby in this country is about survival. For some of those ladies it is about putting food on the table for their families. They make a living out of Rugby. What could be more honorable than that? You brought up the point our National Rugby team is world champion so lets look at them. We have players playing for other countries because they can not gain entry into our own national team yet they are better skilled than the player in the team in the same position. Further more take a look at the other teams in the tournament. They are small and very weak. The lions only joined now. Its also a case of all the teams having players chosen for other reasons other than there playing abilities. They are just lucky that they have a bigger pool to choose from and therefore land up with better players. This point is made very clear when they suddenly play against overseas teams and then see just how bad these players actually are.

One needs to apply rigorous the Qualität and Qualifikation measures to have the player material at hand to compete at the level one envisages….without this application on merit and not on prefential prescibed quotas… thats a recipe for desaster….
Only the best, able, fit, skilled and Intelligenz, with know how plays, others can qualify but at sélection time the criteria should rule and not majority political aspirations!!!!!
Whats good for political aspirations are not necessary good for sporting Material…..

You can't play at national level and be clueless about tackling. Missed tackles saw France destroying SA. That was a poor performance.

I don`t support politics in SA rugby. I will not support a team where you have to pick players based on skin color. Pick players that belong there. They have no clue what is going on. We are the laughing stock on the rugby field. Get proper coaches and proper structures in place to create a winning environment, hence this stay away from rugby if you have no clue. Its a disgrace to SA the way they play.

U20 boys? those are almost fully grown man , not a fair competition to be honest.
Best adult female team can compete with an average boys U15 -16 team.
Boys ages 17 upwards would totally annihilate any best Females in almost any sport.
