I actually got into a minor disagreement with some people in the comment section of the rabies short because they didn’t believe me when I said the bat in the vampire costume was Batrick. Checkmate, commenters!
I wasn’t entirely sure myself, since vampire bats don’t also eat gum/coffee/cocoa. But it’s a cartoon, so it’s not under any obligation to be 100% realistic.

thats very common in comedy slap stick for instance is built entire built around physical pain. some make use of catharsis this is when someone does something bad and they end up paying in the end. They still get hurt it's just someone who deserves it more or less. Now they way pain is used can definitely ruin the affect. You see steve scared of Bat but both are just in a hospital bed with no seeming lasting repercussions. that scene was showed for a VERY good reason.

Worked as at a super market(possibly while still in collage), then got moved up to a buissness position then got institutionalised. Oh and he's a severe blood-o-holic who likes to force others to partake in his wierd behavior. I mean... I love him but he's kind of a prick.
1:53 reminds me of when I was a very small kid first learning about opossums playing dead. There was one "playing dead" in the open cso / river next to our backyard. After a few months it ended looking like his dad there...
He really is him, he doesn't care about the sufferings of others, has a psychotic undertone (like when he told lisa about the blood) he also just fits bro so well too.

if we wanna get technical about it, yes, a scream would work poorly, even at higher frequencies.. (that's why bats also use impulses), but here's an idea to "nerd" about: at lower frequencies, how likely are we (as humans too) to detect phase difference for stereophony); if you haven't yet, i bet you'd like to check out the math of it, has to do with the width of your head, and wavelengths of the frequencies you choose.
@@Dm3qXY I don't know what frequency weasels can hear at, but I know rats and mice can hear between 200hz to 90 khz which is within the range bats can echolocate. So if weasel ears are similar then he definitely heard all of it.

I thought the voice sounded a bit different, but they’re the same. 🫤Well, What the Heck. 😄I can definitely say that Batrick is one of my favourites of these characters. Next to the White Rabbit. If only I knew what his name is.
I have done something similar… well, it wasn’t a real school class, and the comment about bringing enough for everyone was intended as a joke… but the next time I had that class I was able to pass out lollipops to everyone 😁
